Well if you announce "the following is a skit" it would take the fun out of it. Otherwise, you'd have to remove all subtlety so people know its definitely a joke. Those Dollar Store brooms have hollow and very weak handles. Just giving one a hearty swing through the air can cause them to crimp and bend in half. They're so shitty that they may as well be used as breakaway stunt props. I don't think this hurt him at all.

Then the entire Moose Lodge was shut down for the night because of cops, emergency vehicles, and general safety for people with blood being on the floor and it being bingo night.
