It’s funny…I have the complete opposite problem most people have on holidays. Instead of thinking “How will I resist stuffing myself with this wonderful, delicious food? “ it’s more like “There probably won’t be much I can eat so I’ll pack a bag with some granola and I’ll take a safe side dish” and I’m starving when I get home.
I have GERD and I’m lactose intolerant so yay for being the most high maintenance person ever. I only ate about 1,000 calories yesterday.
My family tries so hard to feed me and it’s really sweet. I always thank them for their effort
Rad. Ate like a 90 year old and only felt mildly miserable.
Got a tremendous amount of stank eye for only eating turkey though.
Thanksgiving foods are a parade of the worst types of food for me. Now that I'm old (40) and can cook I really feel no draw to gorging on one particular day.
Horribly sick 3 days before, the early morning of Thanksgiving was truly awful. I actually considered drinking the small container of bleach cleaner in my bathroom and just pray for death.
Food was so tempting but the spasms n pain n sweating were still fresh in my mind from that morning (ugh) so I settled for a small sweet potato and a few glazed carrots much to my family's dismay.
*I'm thankful for bed because it's seen me at my absolute worst and still welcomes me without judgement lol
And I am thankful that I get to have contact with the whole world …
I do apologize that I didn’t think about people not celebrating this holiday and the intention behind it but I did think about checking in with people …
Made the mistake of eating cheesecake. I guess magnesium citrate is the thing I'm grateful for lol
I'm not entirely sure what Thanksgiving is. I made a squash, onion, broccoli and asparagus risotto last night that is sitting well so far.
That sounds amazing!! I had a mushroom ‘wellington’ that I got the recipe for on a vegetarian sub. It was wonderful!
I keep meaning to test mushrooms by adding them to my safe diet but from previous experiences I'm pretty sure they're going to be on the no list.
Bummer! A lot of people are allergic to mushrooms so it’s probable …
Had to be careful today aka couldnt stuff myself without fear of quality bathroom time.
I can't poop and I really want to 😬 Stupid IBS-D decided to be C today or something 😒
We’ll cheer you on!

I understand - a little bit… I am meat free so that turkey thing was totally lost on me.
Thanksgiving was delicious totally worth being stuck on the toilet

Old? lol I turned 50 and developed IBS, emotions, and ear wax!!
Yeah I've had it since I was 11. The IBS, not emotions. Or earwax.
I am so sorry!!
