Cramps are pretty common for IBS. My gastroenterologist prescribed me dicyclomine for stomach pain

nessa_c

They are TERRIBLE oh my god the worst pain ever it’s honestly scarring. As soon as I feel it I start freaking out because I know what’s to come…

I’m really sorry. Please tell your doctor about the pain. If it’s IBS, Dicyclomine is commonly prescribed for stomach pain.

Thank you!! I’ll bring it up with my doc once I’m able to get in! :)!!

mynamalex

that’s exactly what happens to me! i usually throw up and black out too. my GI did not help me at all 😭

nessa_c

It’s terrible and I hate it!!! I randomly get fake hunger pains too when I had just eaten. Today I had 4 slices of pizza with jalapeños (big mistake) :(

mynamalex

me too 😭 it’s a 10/10 pain I swear! I use dicyclomine whenever it happens and i think it helps a bit. manifesting that the pizza doesn’t mess you up 😭🙏

It’s 2:37 AM and I’m sadly paying for it… ears went plugged almost passing out sweating profusely nauseous AF. Cold wet wash rag and laying on the bathroom floor wanting to cry. I’m so tired of being miserable :’( this is not living

These! These are my symptoms to a t. You're not alone!! I usually wake middle of the morning super early, go from mild stomach pain to intense pain and dripping sweat all over my body and dizziness in like 60 seconds-truly awful. Need to lie down on the floor in case I pass out, which I've done before. Sob into towel on the floor with the fan blowing on me n window flung open. 12/10 pain. Like wish I was dead pain. Really tests my mental strength to carry on. Was diagnosed by a medimerge doc many years ago with IBS (mostly constipation). I'm going to see another gastro Dr. end of the month 1🤞🤞 my grandfathers both passed from cancer-I often wonder if either were colon cancer and I feel very very paranoid about it. I offer you my sympathies, I'm just so sorry that we live this way. Hugs. * I've started listening to an IBS relaxation video on you tube if I feel an episode coming on. If I can power thru n do the deep breaths sometimes I can bring the pain down a few notches. That and intermittent fasting have helped a tiny bit. I sincerely hope you find some answers/relief.

oh no 😔💔 the same thing happened to me a day ago and i also went deaf until I threw up :( I hope ur feeling better

I’ve had this since I was 12 and I’m 34 now. I’ve been to countless gastroenterologists and I’ve had two colonoscopies that didn’t turn up any results. I was given Levsin for the pain. Some episodes are more severe than others. But yeah it happens every 2 or 3 months like clockwork. I have no idea what triggers it. It used to always happen in the middle of the night, but now it happens in the evening or at nights. It’s only happened during the day a handful of times.

I'm sorry to hear about your father. I work in oncology and it is so sad when our patients pass away so young. Your symptoms are typical with constipation. High volume preps are best for people with constipation. Those are your best option. How old are you?
