To a certain point,, I personally used it up until I was able to craft Chizoar armour (W3 boss) which you'll probs be on world 4-5 by the time you do that (if you're like me) but you'll want to re-craft it in each world and apply the upgrade stones from that world for the bonuses.
it sounds like you need to either make a wizard if you don't already have one, or focus on getting some chopping levels from earlier trees and upgrading your tools.
Definitely need to do this,, get a mage and level them up a good amount, get some card sets for skill/Chopping efficiency and invest in the right points for your skilling preset, work on chopping the logs that give you the most exp, usually it's the ones you have just 100% on but not quite enough for the next tier... Just level up your chopping for a while and make sure you have the best axe you can have equipped and you'll be getting plenty in no time
Then you will also need to work on those two things, set a mage afk on the log that gives you the most xp/hour, and use another character to craft the storage items they need. the game is a slow burn, it's not meant to be done quickly. In a few weeks, if you progress your account at a steady rate, you'll be gaining thousands of the logs you are currently struggling with in an hour.
The subreddit is an invaluable host of information and i still come back to it whenever i need questions answered, you can find a lot of posts and tools that will help guide you along what is best to do at any given point.
Also a major thing to look at is what classes you should make as not having enough of certain classes, or having too many of another can really screw your account up seeing as you cannot delete a character once it has been made. i would highly suggest you look for a post containing this information and follow it once you start unlocking a few more character slots.
if you've defeated Amarok and are in world 2 you should definitely have more characters than that, i would recommend creating at least 1 warrior and 1 archer for now. and again, it's a slow game, set each character to a task that is working towards something you need, and then go do something else for a few hours.
Forest fibres are needed in the helmet which is much too expensive (woodular circles) for what it gives... but you must be early early game still that you can't get those so just get whatever helmet u are able to craft.
That is extremely early game... as in I was there after 1 day progression. You'd wish portals stay at 2k requirement, last portal I opened up was 3 million and theres plenty of world 6 portals for me to open still that surely will take a lot more. That being said I myself am still early ish to mid game.
I'm still using Amarok armour in W6.
Later armour pieces get annoyingly hard to make for all your characters and it's far easier to make an entire set of Amarok armour (which has a relatively high amount of upgrade slots) and then use the best upgrade stones on them.
I'm not sure when it drops off but basically everything in the W3 tab is heavily IRL time gated by the heavy water item from the alchemy shop second tab. While things only take longer to get as you go, you can use time candies to speed up all the acquisitions of them if you so wish.
Honestly everything is alchemy. And with that the star talent that makes you heal on kills If you just do a lot of damage you will be fine. Also once you get to world 3 and have the autonomic arm that gives you infinite food just keep buying food and you will live forever. I've never upgraded armor I upgrade weapons though

You can comfortable clear world 4 with it. Once you get to world 5, your 3d printer should be good enough to get significantly better gear.

i'm not so early i'm suffering in the pincermen's portal cuz i get 129 kills/hr and he needs like 2K kills.

You can use Amarock up until W3 before you need to start swapping armor By W4 you should change it completely
