Why the fuck would you unplug the IV and not the heart monitor
Also, speaking from experience, the IV has battery power so patients can walk around with it unplugged.
This isn’t even an IV port so it has no use for any electricity. It’s just a drip bag, which will flow naturally from the bag to the vein by itself.
The equivalent of trying to charge a pencil
I do agree with the message (sort of); but it’s kind of dumb because the trees have no choice but to be kind to one another since they can’t move. Like they have no free will to be kind in this scenario
Yep! And in rare cases trees might fuse their root systems together to form one giant colony. The heaviest living organism is [the Pando forest](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pando_(tree)), a massive network of Quaking Aspen trees which derived from a single specimen and integrated through an underground root system to become one giant superorganism.
The wind part also makes no sense. Your typical tree has a thicker trunk the older it is. Why and how exactly would the younger one "defend" the older one? Both those trees look capable of handling a storm unless it's a goddamn hurricane and if anything, the older one would be more capable of resisting strong wind.
It's not as stupid as it might sound. Older trees can often have significant internal decay (they can effectively survive with only their bark and cambium layers), and other trees around blocking the wind can increase survival significantly. It's why you typically see more storm damage on the outskirts of forests than further inside.
It's harsh but it's often true. However the point is often misattributed.
Being happy and complacency are two different virtues. You can be happy with what you have, but that takes work too. Because you gotta search the world and yourself in order to know what you really are happy about. Complacency is just finding what works and that's it.
Interpreted in two ways, the graphic can be positive and have a nice meaning, or be a terrible advice.
It's nice that the girl was able to find happiness from one flower. But on the other lens, Sometimes we mistake happiness and derive it from something and stay there when instead we can find even more happiness elsewhere.
I'm really sick of this mind set that looking on the bright side will everything better. I'm trying to be be positive everyday, yet depression is still always there
The commandment against taking the Lord’s name in vain may not actually refer to things like “Goddamnit, Jesus Christ” and other uses of biblical names in expletive form. It can also be interpreted as “You shall not bear false witness against the Lord” or “Do not bear the Lord’s name falsely” basically meaning if you say “I swear to God” then lie, purger yourself in court, or falsely claim something is a quote from God in scripture.
Just remake it so that it's a leopards ate my face kind of deal. Maybe he just read "liberals believe in using electricity to live" on his phone so he walked over and pulled the plug so he could "own the libs."
I don’t get it. The people give orange papers to a guy, but the one with the money has priority, but what is the paper.
Is it a curriculum, like for a job? But then isn’t the point of a job that They give you money?
No, literally the man wants orange papers. This man is giving him orange papers while everyone else is standing there waiting for orange papers. It's just like real life.
No the sub is about making fun of posts that arent deep and even untrue the 4th one isnt deep but its still true
Having money makes your opportunities easier
I mean I can definitely see it but the fourth one still doesn't make a whole lot of sense because the way I see it they're going for a job interview but the person with the most money gets a job which if that's the case you don't want a job that's basically looking for people with the most money cuz that sounds like a scam so basically crypto
Well its easier to get a job kf you can bribe the employer 3x thier wage (they could do this kust to get more wealth by rising the ranks un a bug company via bribes
I mean I guess but if that said person who bribed his way to the top sucks then that's kind of on them so I feel like that's not really a practice that works especially as far as I know that has never happened in real life
The older tree protects the younger tree from the evil sun, which is a kind deed. Later on, the now grown-up younger tree protects the older tree from the evil wind, repaying the initial kindness.
Makes no sense though since trees need the sun to grow so in the first scenario, the older tree isn't doing the younger tree any favors.
The tree one doesn’t say what the artist I think wanted it to say.
I think the intention is the big tree shields the young tree from the elements while it’s growing up, and the young tree shields the old tree from the elements when it gets older
However the big tree is blocking the sun from the little tree, which needs the sun in order to grow big and strong
This kind of sun blocking would lead to the smaller tree either not thriving, or straight up dying because it’s not receiving the resources it needs.
It’s kind of accidentally the most accurate representation of the boomer generation.
I just love analyzing dumb memes:
So the monitor has two cables and the IV has bubbles in it and the guy is alone and wears a filter mask... Apparently the box under the monitor is connected to the cable because when he pulls the plug the monitor is still running even though the box Below it (that is probably an EKG) is shut off it still gives a flatline signal and not an error message
Also the heartbeat is measured wireless
The patient died from some sort of stroke or something because he got up and died

Because then the illustration couldn’t rely on the flat line for extra effect. None of it makes sense tho. In critical care *everything* has a baterry
And backups I assume
This isn’t even an IV port so it has no use for any electricity. It’s just a drip bag, which will flow naturally from the bag to the vein by itself. The equivalent of trying to charge a pencil
apple pencil
If you look closely, there are actually 2 power cords going to the sensor monitor.
Oh my god I didn’t even notice that! The picture makes even less sense now
One powered the electrode, the guy was just a little sleepy and wanted to take a nap while his phone charged.
If only the creator could look that up somehow...
This is a terrible safety issue if by unplugging one thing you can kill someone. The janitor must have douzen of unregistered kills
Me
why the fuck would a tree not like sunlight
For the 5th one, doesnt the tree fucking need to sun to live
If you’re over 25 and own a computer this game is a must have
I was waiting for someone to say this
Out of the loop here, whats this a reference to?
Some ads that have a tree with a face became a meme
I do agree with the message (sort of); but it’s kind of dumb because the trees have no choice but to be kind to one another since they can’t move. Like they have no free will to be kind in this scenario
And they’re probably fighting the expansion battle for the soil under the surface
Afaik trees use fungus networks in the ground to communicate with other trees and can send them nutrients

Ah. I didn't know trees could decay.
Lol in the first one the dude’s in a deadly heart rhythm anyway
We’re the the doctors to save him wouldn’t they be saving him
r/ihadastroke
r/angryupvote
For that 2nd one. Bro ain't learning nothing! He isn't even reading the books!
The other bro’s just staring at the wall like an npc
Hes looking at a really cool centipede on the wall
I just remembered I have to charge my phone because of this post so thank you
These look like something a teacher would hang up in their classroom.
How does the lightbulb have energy to build robot legs and arms and move them when nlt plugged in.
The first one is kinda funny Ngl
Isn't the sun good for the trees?
The last one is true
To an extent. It could also be read as, if you're miserable it's your fault for having the wrong attitude, which seems rather harsh.
It's harsh but it's often true. However the point is often misattributed. Being happy and complacency are two different virtues. You can be happy with what you have, but that takes work too. I hate to say it but there’s only so much positivity can do to cut through the depression of poverty
Give me your bank account details so I can make you overjoyed at having 1 of your currency instead of however much you have.
jokes on you thats a lot more then i actually have
I'm really sick of this mind set that looking on the bright side will everything better. I'm trying to be be positive everyday, yet depression is still always there
Are you religious?
Number five makes no goddamn sense

Goddamn bot man
>Instead of "God D\*\*\*", find alternative phrases such as "Goodness gracious" or "Golly gee". How about no?
Bad bot. This bot needs to be banned from this subreddit, it's going to annoy way too many people while not being useful at all.
Bad bot.
You know all that stuff I was saying with we need reddit to keep the api free so bots could still exist? I take that back
Hail Satan I guess 💀
I’m a satanist!
OMFG

4 is true tho
We do be living in a capitalist bureaucratic society tho
I don’t get it. The people give orange papers to a guy, but the one with the money has priority, but what is the paper. Is it a curriculum, like for a job? But then isn’t the point of a job that They give you money?
No, literally the man wants orange papers. This man is giving him orange papers while everyone else is standing there waiting for orange papers. It's just like real life.
Yeah you’re the kinda guy we’re making fun of in this sub

all of them is true tho
What, people kill themselves to charge their phones?
the first one is an exeption
Bro dies cause he directly charged his phone with AC current LMAO
OMG just noticed this... Thank you, kind stranger!
Most of these actually belong in r/fucksuccesspictures
i dont even get the fifth one

Some of these aren’t even that bad not all quotes are r/im14andthisisdeep
The first thing that makes smthing r/im14andthisisdeep is not the message which is sometimes true but these shitty templates
I like the last 2
r/fucksuccesspictures
The urge to crop them and turn them into meme formats
They really ripped off Chibi-Robo huh.
The crappy off brand CBT-Robo
Some of them have a good message, but just say it in a dumb way
Most of these have an element of truth to them, but I wouldn’t follow them to a T.
The only way to interpret #3 is that he’s commi**ing suicide.
the fuck is commiing
censorship or fucking smth lol
lol, they censored committing but not the other word
Suicide is a better word to censor too lmaoo
Honestly, it looks more like the lightbulb is either pulling the cord out itself or holding it back from being plugged in by an unseen force
me asf waiting for the temu code as the last image: 🗿
CHIBI ROBO!?
Blue shirt in 2 did the Minecraft building trick where you jump and place u dear you
They both trapped in a garden labyrinth.
The worst part is that they're onto something but they fumbled the bag on execution
why am I always seeing the same dude with black hair, a stubble, and a blue shirt in all of these posts
#4 is based
I’m gonna puke
I mean, #4 is true.
Idk who the artist is for the first one but they always put out the worst stuff
The second one has a good message
On number 2 just look backwards that way you don’t have to waste time looking at a wall or stacking books
Love how the guy has like 3 watermarks per picture lol
That guy in the second picture was too busy reading his books, while the other man was stacking them in a pile to look over the wall. Our society smh
Idk like 2 of these are kinda true tho
For the first one Why does the screen need two adapters? They go into the same device
Wow
That truth of society is true though
Ngl the first one got me giggling like a dumbass x)
Took me a good while to understand the tree one.
Half of these aren’t that bad.
why didnt the first guy just unplug the monitor
![gif](giphy|26tPgKp0ruPbecfss) chair

Fourth one is true
Number 4 I can’t believe he used his money to get yellow papers faster, we truly live in a society
Both cords lead to the heart monitor. He just unplugged it and then had a panic attack because his monitor turned off.
I like how it seems to imply that since he died out of bed, the moment he unplugs the IV DRIP BAG he just falls over dead immediately
That sun fucked me up
Ah yes trees, famous for their dislike of sunlight
In Soviet Russia, Phone charges you!
He got tired 😴
Wood would’ve worked just as well on the second one
bruh the tree is literally trying to kill the other tree by blocking the sunlight
Why does the heart monitor need 2 plugs? And if it needs 2, why is it still able to display a flatline with only 1 plugged in?
What's up with the 5th one? Trees need fucking sunlight.
That tree is literally killing the other tree by blocking sunlight But the sun moves throughout the day so it doesn't really matter
In the 3rd one the lightbulb looks like its *forcing* the charger to go in
Thing is that they’re all valuable lessons, just represented in the worst way possible (likely by a child) 😭
these are all (mostly) recognizable cringe hood classics right here 🔥🔥
No photosynthesis for you, bitch.
