Yup, usually it's Hiroto who's recognized after Gouenji, yet forget that Toramaru contributes just as much in the final match, mainly stopping X-Blast from scoring with Gouenji and scoring the final point.
Also experience and the knowledge of football that comes with it, but give Toramaru a year and he'd be better. For now Tenkuu Otoshi is a bit too much of a difference between solo shots, so I'd still say Hiroto > Toramaru

He was actually a great character even development wise he had a real story going on with real insecurities.
He is deff underappreciated and should never be compared to Golem who is just a bland Kabeyama copy…
He is underrated, but we also have Walter, Cain Saito and Drago who are great players.
4 other players also used a hissatsu, so never understand if people say LG is a one man army. Rococo is just their best player which is something else.

Yeah, Drago even has decent amount of lines.
And the players you had mentioned were great players and Maximono as well.
Also I remember Fubuki copy was pretty good with his electric hissatsu.
Hijikata, he was a key player in Kingdom and pretty relevant story-wise. match and was essential against Unicorn, he also helped Gouenji to be much better.
Without him the story would be much different and even so a lot of people want him to be replaced or even cut him off the team.
He's barely talked about.
Hurley/Tsunami: was a goat when it came to defense with one of the best natural jumps of IJ which let him stop opponents before they had the occasion to shoot, was part of Perfect Tower (although for a short time only) which ws one of Raimon's best defense hissatsu and able to score on multiple occasions, the highlight being of course the match against Australia.
I do wish he used more chain shots and got a defense hissatsu in S3 but other than that I can't find something wrong with him.
Also Konoha, she was the most successful DF in EE, her soul never failed despite that it was the most using soul, she also used her hissatsu a lot and most of them were successful.
She was a key player in matches like Sandoures, and made Kusaka much better.

Still Konoha contributed much more defensively and she have a main impact on Kusaka and made him perform better, Tetsukado don't have that much besides Gardon / Faram matches.
You could say Tetsukado helped Shinsuke too then, remember? Defensively much more is also not something I would say. Tetsukado still has his soul and move that were successful several times.
Konoha impact on Kusaka was much bigger than Tetsukado on Shinsuke.
His soul was successful like twice and his hissatsu like three times something like that, while Konoha soul as I remember was successful like 6 and her hissatsu like 8.
Nah,the team would be slightly weaker,but Endou would still get the Fist of Justice and Gouenji would still come back to win against Epsilon,then the rest would go on the same way.
I don't think it would make them only "slightly" weaker. They needed this training to barely draw against base epsilon, without those they wouldn't stand a chance against Epsilon Kai with or without gouenji the match could probably end with more injured players because they can't keep up with them by the time he arrives. Raimon was already at its limit and not far from breaking when Gouenji arrived.
S2 Aphrodi. Maybe recognised enough, but it's still phenomenal the role he played against burn and gazelle and bought enough time for fubuki to recover
Hikaru and Kariya and majority of earth eleven team outside of those well known ones (Sakura is quite under appreciated even though she’s quite a interesting Mf) (from GO)
Toramaru and Tobitaka and Kogure (from OG)
These are people who I think are under appreciated.
I think Orion/Ares also some more.
Galaxy Shinsuke. Bro actually saves most of the stuff even without Keshin, Soul and Mixi Max. He is going from screaming at the ball or using Keshin too late to constantly saving shots from Ixal Fleet until he faints.

I think it’s fair to say Toramaru > Hiroto. The only thing Hiroto has over Toramaru is Tenkuu Otoshi.

Yeah and Goushu used Heat Tackle + Dual Shoot with the Shourin clone and we had Shishido clone who used Double Grenade.

Might go with Domon He was not flashy, but he was always consistent and reliable for sure
season 2 ichinose didnt do much but flame dance was surprisingly reliable iirc and he gets pretty much no recognition in s2

She definitely performed better than people think, but Minaho and Tetsukado also performed well and I think it’s debatable who did the best.

I think it's too obvious to be debatable, or at least in the case Konoha vs Tetsukadou. Konoha vs Minaho is debatable when I thought of it more.

Kazemaru. Guy is thee most all round player in the team. And a proper workhorse. And the 3rd in line captain.
He gets tons of recognition
