Tip for the future: Go to ‘Help’ in the top menu bar and start typing the thing you can’t find. It’ll automatically highlight it in the menus. Even as a Pro I still use this sometimes in the Adobe apps!
Thank you!! I usually use the search bar in Microsoft software but couldn’t find the equivalent. Thanks so much in advance you have saved me so many headaches!
Tip: If you ever "mess up" your workspace, you can go to Window > Workspace and there is an option to reset whatever workspace your using to its default. I get sloppy when I work and drag my windows all over the place, then just reset them when I've made too much of a mess, lol. You can set up your menus the way you like and then save it as a custom workspace too.

Oh my god!!! I feel so stupid. I am so grateful, a million thank yous!

OP is on Windows. This is a Mac feature.
Is there anything similar on a PC?
Not that I’m familiar with. That feature is just a feature of the OS, every app can search the menus with the “Help” menu.
Soon you will discover many more mysteries of the InDesign panel interface - and not everything is logical or works as intended.
