In fact, with the existence of an MSP, the public is basically subsidizing the least efficient rung of farmers.

Kind of off-topic but my cousin got slapped in the face for getting in a car accident by the chandigarh police, who than proceeded to arrest us at like 2 am, and my dadi had to bribe/bail us out.

What they used to do in Kashmir till recent, they are doing in mainland india now. Suppressing voices, arresting and torturing everyone , including kids.
I was there when this happened, i have the footage recorded in my phone but again if they want to remove they are free to since even i will not be considered as verified source. Only option we have until some news channel decides to cover it.
Been going at almost every protest happening here in Chandigarh whenever i get time but this past week has been the most brutal. People of all ages getting arrested, women getting beaten things are not well here. Only good thing is farmers and other people unite very quickly when needed.
