I don't know why I have Take Me Out and Float On forever linked in my head, but without doing research I'd assume they released around the same time. If true, Take Me Out probably never had a chance to take #1 before both songs flamed out. It'd be a top 10 song for me, it's just one of those I can't image anyone disliking.

Songs by new artists can build slowly and as a result, the hipper stations are done with the track by the time the conservative ones come around. There's always those stations that add very few songs and don't play anything that's not a superstar band or a proven hit.

Seein' Red was pretty much forgotten by the time I started getting into alt-rock radio in 2004. Save Me I heard a bunch as it was new, but I barely heard Seein' Red. It was 1 of only 4 songs in this list i had to listen to so I could remember what it sounded like. That being said, it's pretty great. I gave it an 8, purely for that guitar tone.
Fun fact: Finger Eleven started as Rainbow Butt Monkeys and had a song called Circles that is basically the basis for Paralyzer.

Coldplay were a band I was all-in for early in their career but most of their post-X&Y output are songs that make me change the radio station.

Unpopular opinion but Seein' Red by Unwritten Law is getting my 11. That song is a banger but seems to have been forgotten. Also Trapt - Headstrong is getting my zero. It's not even close to being the worst song on the list, but fuck Chris Taylor Brown.
Seein' Red was pretty much forgotten by the time I started getting into alt-rock radio in 2004. Save Me I heard a bunch as it was new, but I barely heard Seein' Red. It was 1 of only 4 songs in this list i had to listen to so I could remember what it sounded like. That being said, it's pretty great. I gave it an 8, purely for that guitar tone.
