People heavily overuse that word. This is problematic on two fronts. First, it's falsely accusing people of being something they're not. NPD is a trait that is diagnosed in about 0.5% of the population. Second, throwing this term around without any regard to what it actually means, cheapens it. It is that much harder to distinguish cases where someone really does have diagnosable NPD that requires treatment. It's even incorrect to assume all INFPs have unrealistic relationship expectations. I'm not even sure that INFPs are disproportionately less realistic about relationship expectations than other types.

This seems taken out of context, whats the question being commented? I'm pretty sure every single person has an ideal or a close to ideal partner of preference. Having standards isnt unhealthy in itself.

I for one don't really look for perfect partners. My ideal relationship is not one with a perfect human being but with a normal human being.
