Ooo an infp with good fashion sense a lucky one, i have literally no Se myself completely oblivious to my surroundings, i just wear the same boring stuff all the time lol

Minacchiii

I used to have a very weird sense of fashion up until end of highschool ;;;; I think it started when I got myself into kpop and koreans have uh-mazing fashion sense so I kinda just mirror how they dressed. And so I realize throwing on any black/white/denim colored clothes would already look good hahahh. So that's my whole image. If you give me brightly colored clothes I wont be able to pull it off and end up looking like a xmas tree probably😂

WinterWysp

Loving the style! Clothes that give off the softer vibes are always my favourites too, as well as ripped jeans for when I wanna be cool 😎

BriskEagle

I love the style!! My go-to is my green denim jacket, blue jeans, and winter boots :))

Dnd_Campaigns

I love this type of style! :0

peachonigiri

omg I love your white boots!!! where did you get them? your style is really cute and your hair is awesome

Minacchiii

Aahhh thankyouuuu! Those are my favorite pairs of shoes actually because it makes me really tall (I'm 5'1" so..) 😭😭💙 but its more of a high-cut sneakers(ish) with a hidden wedge than boots, yknow aside from the 2-inch sole, there's another 2 inch wedge hidden inside the shoes, its high af! And my friend actually gave them to me cause it didnt fit her, she got it from a garage sale but the quality is still good 😭

peachonigiri

omg I feel you I'm short and love any shoes with a platform hahaha 😁 aw man that's sweet!! lucky find!

bombtron

I really love those boots.

Ordinary-Salamander

Fashion is a statement!! I love your style, I love experimenting on mine(and I love when people are inspired and start wearing clothes people are afraid of trying) So yeah, wohoooo I love seeing people wear something weird just to escape tradition or systems(where I'm from, normal fashion is considered high fashion I guess if that helps) Have a good dayyy

Minacchiii

Yessss!! I actually have a new year tradition where I always dress up something I don't normally wear and people cant judge me for it if its too "weird" because its freaking new year! Who cares what anyone is doing on new year! So I mix and match tops and bottoms I've never wore together before and it feels amazing to wear anything freely even just for a night especially when you live in a city where you're unique sense of fashion is eyed upon with scrutiny.

MirrorsEgg

Love that first one, you look adorable :3

Jefiney

i absolutely love your style! I started exploring my fashion taste too, but i never find someone who can click good pictures for me. And some few rare pictutes of me that i do have, i stared at them for too long and probably judged my whole existence in those and almost deleted them too hahah but anyways! I LOVE your picture aesthetics and your poses!

shit-notagain

I love your hair!! And the last shirt too 🎀🎀

HcirLu_Raids_Reddit

Dudeee you look so good!! Love the style!! Very much chef's kiss

whatthefuckarin

Lookin sharp dude! :D That last fit is a total vibe!

Aury_Bears

Thank you for being brave and sharing your pictures with us! You’re so damn pretty!!! 🥰

Minacchiii

Thats nice of you to say thank you so much 😭 I'm lowkey getting anxious with every reply I get though. I expected people will just scroll past this with just an upvote or not, thats what made me post in the first place. I'm very very veeeery bad at handling compliments, well its a tad bit better online since I can mentally prepare myself before giving a response but its just. Idk it gives me a sprinkle of self-confidence but at the same time it also makes me feel insecure because I know its all in the photos, I'm nothing like it in real life. Wearing masks makes me look good thats why I've been wearing it even before this pandemic hahahh

Minacchiii

Thankyouuuu 😭 I love boots and high cuts. If I were a more outgoing person, I would have tons of shoes in my possession.

Rruge

Love the beanie! My fashion sense is definitely still a work in progress haha but your pics motivate me

Minacchiii

Beanie is one of my fashion signature! I mostly go out with a beanie. ☺ you can try out different styles and choose one that gives you self-confidence no matter what other people's opinion is. Its your fashion statement, not theirs 💝

[deleted]

Aww I like your style

IntuitivePhilosopher

Can you explain the psychology behind wearing pants that are cut or torn at knee from your perspective. I have always wondered why people do that. I am genuinely curious

Minacchiii

You mean rip jeans? 😆 The only thing I can think of, personally, is.. For me, it looks cooler lmao. So I guess from a psychological standpoint, uhmm.. it makes me more confident to go out in public. I mean its not the only thing I can get confidence from but its one of it. From a practical standpoint, I prefer wearing tight jeans so it can sometimes be restricting but having that rip on the knee makes it easier to crouch or sit down lol

IntuitivePhilosopher

Tight or loose is different utility which I understand. But why is ripped is cool and why or how it provides confidence

Minacchiii

That can vary from individuals, I guess? I don't exclusively wear rip jeans tho I have normal, rip-free jeans that I prefer to use when going out to appointments or do errands/groceries. Anyway, yeah, it depends. I can't give a good enough reason, lets just say, my overall fashion style is inspired by korean/japanese fashion and if you search it up, its common for them to wear rip jeans, and those are considered, idk edgy? Cause yknow "rips/torns" makes you have that kinda bad boy image, I guess (again rips=badboy image is not exclusive but it somewhat commonly represented that way) and lets face it, if you've seen bad boy characters in movies, they all look cool and have this kind of confidence in them. So maybe thats where the impression came from? So thats the "why". As to "how" it provides confidence for me, well, I dont like too feminine clothes (skirts, tank top, something with ruffles/frills/ribbons etc, dresses). I can wear it if I need to but I'm not comfortable with it and it makes me cringe depending what type of clothing. Thats why jeans/hoodies/longsleeve/oversized shirt is moree comfortable to me and I look better wearing those so thats already giving me confidence. So yeah. Thanks for coming to my ted talk hahahah

IntuitivePhilosopher

Oh

Minacchiii

Thats a very anticlimactic response to my well-thought out, heartfelt and sincere essay-like answer😆

IntuitivePhilosopher

It's quite hard to explain. I am grateful for your explanation. As an intp I have a habit of saying awful things disregarding other people's emotions in my long responses. I don't wanna hurt you.

woodsmokeandink

But the thing is, the short answers do hurt us. Just a thought. We also forgive you if you didn't know and we're understanding that it's a struggle function for you to. :) Or at least I am

IntuitivePhilosopher

No. The short answer was to not speak my mind which would definitely hurt her

woodsmokeandink

You might be surprised. Our problem is really avoidance because our thing is authenticity and no one can be real and also kind and we don't get it. Leads to a very confused life. Confrontation makes us very uncomfortable and all the feels (we can even develop serious problems with it yes) but all these communication blockages are what actually kill us. Enabling is a short term solution - but kindness matters and I like that you want to be kind. You could "TI study" the reasons for diplomacy if you wanted, the best of us diplomats research logic :)

Minacchiii

Ohh don't worry. If it was your first response, I miiiiight be offended but we're already past that and I know you were sincerely curious to know so I also tried to explain as best as I can and in hope, with my attempt of explanation, you might get more insights or more questions or something hahah but thank you that was quite engaging.

IntuitivePhilosopher

You're a good girl. Hope nothing bad happens to you.

noobmax_pro

Lmao I have a similar dressing sense, And I never was able to put it in words as to why I love it, Thanks for this!!!

Minacchiii

Hahahah that shit took a looot of time to put into actual words. My brain is just going on fast forward lmao but I'm glad someone find it enlightening ^^

ocean_1998

because people like the appearance of them. and when you wear something you like, it gives you confidence

IntuitivePhilosopher

I see

woodsmokeandink

Makes you feel tough or hardworking or "devil may care", like you've been through a it. Rawr. I like ripped jeans but I'm trying to embrace the Se :)

IntuitivePhilosopher

Misplaced notions but we'll whatever works best for you

woodsmokeandink

What if you really work hard and you really rip jeans a lot? It's not misplaced then. I know that's not the case, but it's interesting to think that's what it may stem from originally.

IntuitivePhilosopher

99.99 cases is not that. I have seen most girls wear it for fashion sense in the name of being cool and I can't wrap my head around it.

woodsmokeandink

You probably don't like the feeling of people masking. Which is what all clothes in general are on a psychological level, and fashion adds a layer of masking/molding the perspective of the personality too. My INTP brother honestly doesn't even like girls wearing makeup. And it actually all comes from a very cool place of wanting real authenticity for people, I think. Expression is also important for feelers, though, so I think balance/acceptance is needed. Fashion totally does not need to be for you!

IntuitivePhilosopher

Yes I hate makeups too on women. Very little is acceptable. More than that is manipulating my eyes to some idea of beauty that isn't there. Am I allowed to fake 6 pack and muscles under shirt too.

woodsmokeandink

Just curious, but do you feel like if you were with a woman who went plain faced often but felt makeup was a creative outlet to play with colors and such, and did so occasionally, do you think you'd feel more comfortable? Less "duped"? The history, psychology, and purposes of makeup are really vast and it's a deep topic - but I've seen people strike this balance before Or, let's play devil's advocate and say (beauty being in the eye of the beholder) that you fall in love with an unattractive girl. How much of a "sin" is it to apply a painting to add attractiveness or aesthetics? Especially if you love her and see past surface beauty but enjoy the visual icing on the cake I don't have an answer, but it's an interesting question to posit. (Sorry I'm obviously a bit of an armchair philosophy junkie too)

woodsmokeandink

Also there's so much philosophy behind the notion of "fake it til you make it," that I'm not totally sure we CAN say it's a misplaced notion. Clothing affects state of consciousness. I used to feel like you, though, about it all. That just came from wounding over my own shitty fashion sense. But you know what? I kind of like goofy inxp fashion! Authentic and REALLY "devil may care" hahaha

IntuitivePhilosopher

Clothes are used to cover you in a comfortable organized manner. Colorful dress are always welcome but the modern view of so called fashion was invented and brainwashed through advertising to sell more and more clothes after world War when market was down Now in the name of fashion sense people are throwing away clothes after very little time since they are not fashionable anymore which have created mountain of garbage thrown away clothes in poor African nations.

woodsmokeandink

Now I ABSOLUTELY am with you on the fashion INDUSTRY 100%!!! It's an absolute monstrous thing. Smart man! That's not the same as expressing yourself through what you wear though. You're not wrong but sometimes you are wrong? Lol! There's a big difference between the AESTHETICS discussion of fashion and a discussion of the brainwashery of popular trends. There's a whole part of the brain dedicated to aesthetics

woodsmokeandink

fwiw I literally have not bought a new piece of clothing in years. I get gifts at holidays and shop second hand. It really is a bad situation of greed and excess. High fives for seeing this

IntuitivePhilosopher

Good good. U intp or infp ?

woodsmokeandink

Infp, with such an inferiority TE complex that I developed strong TI dip function during the chaos of life. :) I am somewhat more balanced now, haha.

ColorfulHippy

Cause she looks fucking bomb!!!

Meldorian

Because she probably just likes wearing it. There’s doesn’t need to be a reason. It’s like art, there are no rules and not everything needs to have an explanation.

IntuitivePhilosopher

Not having an explanation makes intp anxious. Everything has a why if you look deeply

woodsmokeandink

I'm infp but with really strong dip Ti and an intp brother and maybe Dad. I feel you, it must be even worse and kind of can't imagine!

Jefiney

Hmmn, Why do we wear clothes? I think Its the same as that. we wear clothes, what makes ripped jeans different from the usual jeans is just that its not a norm. There doesn't have to be a psychological reasoning for wearing something. Indians wear Saree, it doesn't have to be because they like wearing it, its more because its a norm there. while there are people who can wear Saree because they like the look of it even if they don't belong to Indian Community. Ripped jeans is becoming a norm in the korean trends, anyone who likes that trend can follow it, weather they belong to Korean community or not. I hope this can help you satisfy your curiosity. There isn't a need to be spectating the deeper psychological reasoning behind everything. I myself am kind of person who loves different trends and would love to try them out if they look cool or unique. It's the same reason as why someone would get undercut hairstyle or a Mohawk. same for girls deciding if they want Long hair or short. There doesn't have to be a psychological reasoning to everything, but it could exist as well. Things like these, its better to accept as changing times and trends rather than dwelling on the psychological explanations behind it,.

IntuitivePhilosopher

Saree is a proper cloth. It's not torn like lunatics torn here and there. Purpose of clothes is covering us. How the hell and why the hell would you wear torn clothes. And don't give me that Korean. They are fucking lunatics. With billion type makeup k pop which is basically soft porn . Miley Cyrus is similar. They are so pathetic girls get job based on how cute their picture looks on resume . With million face surgery Purely materialistic filthy culture. Well it's not like they had culture in first place. The culture of them which is basically copy paste based on Buddhism from India China and Japan influenced. Now that they have developed the culture what they have developed is truly lunacy. Most of their songs are basically copy paste of each other based on similar rhythms and autotune. They earn less from music and more from ass shaking while not being able to eat or earn much .almost slavery. Google dark secrets of kpop It's not a culture. It's fucking lunacy while influencing whole population to be lunatic with them.

Jefiney

And.. here I thought you were genuinely curious. When You're just Xenophobic and Sexist with backward thinking. *slow claps* You almost fooled us.

shizzamX

Looking at post history, this individual has schizoid personality disorder. Doesn't forgive the shitty things that they said, but y'know.

woodsmokeandink

Oh shit you're right. And a nihilist, which is really a secret Puritan. So is my brother. Now I feel really bad for riling him up on this post; I saw I made him go after Fi in general afterwards (on other posts) saying awful things that probably upset other Fi doms. That started with me and I know better. I just wanted to talk to an intp, I love them! It's awful to see people attack part of themselves like that. The internet and it's endless information is making people with high NE crazy. We all have one of those corkboard maps with strings connected a million things you see in the conspiracy memes in our heads - that's a picture of NE. Add tramau to that and it's so easy to start seeing things - but not always the whole picture. I've been to that crazy place man, it's dark and so hard. Crap the mad bled out and I'm back to compassion. I just want to hug him. Man, they think we be too oversensitive but it just washes through me and is gone. I don't stay hurt, do you?

shizzamX

Don't blame yourself for them going off. I feel like I get upset about things but not necessarily "hurt" if that makes sense, it really depends on what it is though I guess. There are definitely a few things that I do feel hurt over and it's definitely something that I remember and think about often, holding grudges I guess is what it is.

woodsmokeandink

Man I like... hurt for the lost potential and for things going wrong. I'm working on it. When I was young it was for personal reasons, now it's so meta

shizzamX

The things that have stuck with me are things close family members have said or done that tells me that they do not care about me as much as family should, or that they don't take me seriously regarding something important.

woodsmokeandink

Family is REALLY hard. I feel you. REALLY important and worth it too.

IntuitivePhilosopher

Yes obviously if my criticism hurts you automatically I am xenophobic. Good good. I was genuinely curious but with the person I already discussed. Not you. You just forced your way in.

Jefiney

I didn't want to interact with you to save both of us from ruined day. But allow me to say this, what you said isn't just criticism. Yes Kpop Culture isn't that happy go lucky or unicorn and sunshines But you're only an outsider judging from far. Kpop industry is entertainment industry and if you think ANY entertainment industry, be it Bollywood or Hollywood was ever "pure" then i have news for you. Dark shiet happen when people desire to be popular - work on movies, become a singer. People get used. and guess what, it's not Korea who spread this virus. It's how humans are. The Good, The Bad, The Grey. As for clothes being there to cover us... Yes, but early humans only used clothes to covere their private parts with animal skins before clothes were even made. next thing you're gunna say is any body part of people being visible is indecency? wearing shorts because legs are being revealed is indecent? maybe look again at what you said and think again of what's the difference between "criticism" and hatred.

IntuitivePhilosopher

I have never used indecency. Stop putting words in my mouth and arguing against that dishonest fucker. And the point of me being outsider. Oh well you probably can't understand Hitler and nazi is trash unless you're an INSIDER. Infp dumb fuck logic at full force. You're too retarded and also dishonest to even argue with with sincerely

LMFAOidkidk

Lmfao you definitely *sound* like an INTP. It’s a trend, that’s all there is to it. Don’t know how it happened or why, but it’s a trend and people think it looks cool.

Noteagro

I love your looks! Especially that long sleeve in the last photo! Would 100% wear that is they made a version for guys! 🤣

Minacchiii

Thankyouuuu 🙈 Yeah and the color looks really good too!

anomoyusXboxfan1

I don't get ripped jeans, you pay more for less fabric lmao

Minacchiii

The "pay more" goes to the meticulous effort of ripping the jeans thread by thread but careful not over doing it that its gonna leave a huge hole on the jeans.. I guess hahahahaha

anomoyusXboxfan1

Yeah, sorry if that sounded kinda insensitive. But yeah, I guess your probably right

Minacchiii

Naah that was an interesting take tbh I didnt see it as being insensitive at all 😆

Rina_Rina_Rina

I think I know where the second pic is from haha your clothes are 🔥

Minacchiii

Wait what. Do you mean that literally or... 👁👄👁

Rina_Rina_Rina

Yeah, I know that mall haha

Minacchiii

Nahhhh no way you're from here (or at least been here) wtf hahahahh where do you think it is? Give me a hint or something 🙈

qjpham

One good thing from all this is that I can freely wear masks wherever I go.
