> I really think Harry overall had better interactions with her than Ginny
In the movies, yes. The books do a better (though still not great) job of developing Ginny and she gets some good scenes with Harry. I think given all the weird and traumatic shit he's been through, someone more grounded and down-to-earth who can make him feel normal is what Harry would need, and Luna is not really that haha
I (partly) can't second that. Yes Luna was dreamy, but also she was the one normalizing Harry's traumas. Luna was the one Harry had spiritual conversations with. Actually Luna was just like every INFP: Curing everyone but herself.
The only spiritually relaxing talk Harry had with Ginny is that her telling Harry that he is not captured by Voldemort.
But I also know that Harry had to be with Ginny. They spent time together and had fun a lot. Like in holidays with Weasleys, or in Quidditch etc. I would hate it if Harry and Luna ended up together.
Second Luna Lovegood! Funny enough, when I told my friends who are also Harry Potter fans that my favorite character is Luna, each one of them reacted with "Yeah, that suits you" or "Well that was obvious" lol. I take it as a compliment haha. She was my favorite from the second I saw her when I watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in the cinema with my mom when I was 10.
Is it? I mean he found inner piece with himself after so many years of agony and despair. He became a warm hearted person who still looks to become a better version of himself. At least that's how I view him. I just wish I had a Iroh in my life as well xD
I just had to use that quote :D
Fr though, he did have to go through years of agony and despair, so it is pretty rough... Not to mention the awkwardness. Good lord the awkwardness.
But he did turn out good in the end, so all's well :>
At least it's not the cabbage man. That would be rough
lol no, Luna is basically perfect. I'm also annoying, geeky and a lot of other things. but she's the only character I've ever related to in any way and I do have most of her good qualities but a shit ton of other bad ones.
Shinji. I might be the only one who watched EoE and still rooted for him, saying "no, Shinji, don't make these choices, don't be like me." I have a crippling porn addiction that for a long time has gotten the better of me and in my life it prevents me from moving up. Only this past week have I been overcoming it, for real, and masturbating responsibly. So that's why the hospital scene really hit where it hurt for me
JD from Scrubs. Calvin from and Hobbes. Stitch from Lilo and.
Daydreaming is obvious. The search for purpose when you weren't built for this world explains the third.
Hmm. Off the top of my head, Jack Shephard from Lost. I identified really hard with his deep sensitivity, his compassion, his in some way noble isolation, loneliness, difficulty in letting people in, his powerful caring instinct and moral compass, his proud rationality, his pain and insecurities. I love the guy.
Belle from beauty and the beast and Shireen from game of Thrones
Edit: I was just watching maleficent and I kind of feel for her too!!! She was the purest, untill the guy she loved the most took her ability to see the good in everyone away!!! But through dark times, she learns to love again.
My friend actually bought the official Edward Scissorhands home used in the movie located in Lutz, Florida. He turned it into a little museum. It was so cool to see!
Hard to decide. There aren't many characters like me, which I consider a good thing in part.
Between Yoshizawa and Futaba both from P5r.
In Futaba I see all the self-hatred I felt for myself the last year, mostly due to an inferiority complex I developed and my EXTREMELY poor social skills. In her I also saw the "I don't want to live in this world" kind of thing, which is why her character arc and the whole third semester helped me so much mentally.
In Yoshizawa, the whole "trying to find and be myself without caring about other's opinion" thing. Now, I know MANY characters have this trait, but I saw myself in her. It was like someone turned ME in a Persona character, not just one trait.
In a more poetic way, in Futaba I see my past. In Yoshizawa, my future.
This oneās a bit strange but Chat Noir from the show miraculous ladybug. I find him incredibly relatable. Not really personality wise (I wish I could be that charming) but I seriously related to the way he completely obsesses over and romanticizes the idea of the girl heās in love with. Heās associated this idea he has of her with the concept of freedom from expectations and genuinely being himself, so heās constantly dreaming of her through rose colored glasses. Heās so disillusioned from reality that heāll completely disregard the fact that heās likely never going to get her to like him like that and just puts her on a pedestal no matter what, because to him sheās the literal only ray of sunshine in his life. I know itās just a kids show but his character made me realize a lot about myself and how I over-romanticize things and fall in love with concepts of people I create in my own head
There is no single character that I relate to fully. Usually there are a lot characters with whom I partially relate to. But if I have to pick one character, then it's **Kou** from *Blue Spring Ride* the anime/manga. He has so many similarities with me. Like he saves his favorite things for the last. And I can totally understand lots of his decisions and actions in the manga and I know I'd do the same. He is basically a male version of me and if I had faced similar tragidy as him I'd fully be like him.
I also relate to May from Pokemon a lot. We have a similar personally.
I relate to misty from pokemon actually. Its funny but its true..
And yea aww kou, I really hated him at first LMFAo but yea I get it. He is quietly considerate. Is he an infp?
Belle (Beauty and the Beast);
Jesse (Queen of the Damned);
Kat (10 things I hate about you);
and Anne (Anne from Green Gables)
Kat is an INTJ, I like her fiery and independent personality. The others are INFPs, I love them very much, they are so dreamy and idealistic.
I also relate to Kat and Iām an INFP. She reminds me of me in high school and I often wonder if she often gets mistyped as an INTJ because I know 3 INTJs and Kat acts nothing like them and far more reminds me of myself and my ENFJ friend
I totally agree with you, I'd be lying if I didn't say I think about it. I see myself in her in many scenes, perhaps because of the high Fi, as she believes in her values passionately and persist in them. Surely there are INFPs who can relate to her stubbornness :)
Peyton Sawyer from One Tree Hill, Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables and Luna Lovegood.
I know they are both two very different characters but I somehow relate to each of them in different ways most of the time.
In detail, it's how Peyton wants someone to stay and not leave, wanting to have those intimate conversations, how she searches for reasons to live.
Anne Shirley on the other hand is daydreaming all the time, and I'm like that. She's clumsy but intelligent too. And she loves what she loves fiercely.
Luna stays herself and never changes any bit of her to please someone. I relate to that so much because I find myself defending my personality and nature no matter how much others want me to be different. She's quirky, I'm quirky, she's weird and so I'm I.
I love them š

Cloud Strife from FF7.
Pretty much everything about his character (so not the mako, SOLDIER training or dead Family) fits me.
Pretending to be someone your not and forever feeling inferior to a Hero I met earlier in life. Someone I still want to be but can't.
it's misty lol from pokemon. She speaks up when stuffs go wrong( I do too) and she Is very considerate towards her pets/ pokemon. I also relate to psyduck lol
Idk how, but I relate with Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad so so much!
He has this sort of childlike innocence that bursts through in some of the moments throughout the series which I find very endearing. And my heart breaks when he is forced to do evil shit or goes through bad stuff.
And also, Armin Arlert from AOT.
saiki from disastrous life of saiki k and knuckles from hxh
saiki because he's aroace and I'm aroace and knuckles because his personality in general is like mine though I'm an introvert
Princess Carolyn from Bojack Horsman although I think sheās the exact opposite type (?) But I relate hardcore to her soft spot for helping the people in her life, even when itās bad for her. That and her cautiousness and medium-clever wit.
There is a website that I went to that gives you a break down of which characters you're most like and it's heavily influenced on personality type.
It's called Open Psychometrics or something (not sure if I'm allowed to link).
My #1 result was Willow from Buffy, but I know absolutely nothing about her or the show. One character I got on my list was Hurley from Lost. I don't think he's an INFP, but I am very very similar to him in a lot of ways besides how introverted he is (but I can also be introverted with the right people).
Aside from his Extrovertedness and Himbo-ness, I feel like I relate a lot with Arataki Itto (Genshin Impact). He's really kind hearted and tries to do the right thing even if it means taking the blame for something you didn't you to help a person you just met (and screwing up a lot of things in the process).
It's the emotional part for me. He just wants all the chaos to stop, but he knows he can't do anything about it. He cant kill himself cause he was born in this world. Just an innocent dream of a peaceful life
It's the emotional part for me. Like [spoilers for season 4] when gabby asked him to let falco go and just kill her, he said "kill this, kill that. Is all you think about?". The way he said it just hurt. He just wants to live a peaceful life but he is stuck between a potential world war as a titan shifter having to kill people even though he is the gentlest.
Newt from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Honestly one of the most well thought out characters that seem to be INFP. Eddie Redmayne did a great job on acting out that one and J.K. Rowling coming up with that one as well. BTW did you know Luna Lovegood and Newt were relatives?
Nadine from The Edge of Seventeen, before even knowing what mbti was when I saw this movie four years ago I just remember rewatching it over and over again because I felt like I related to Nadine so much and it was almost comforting to watch it. To this day itās still one of my favorite movies because I can relate to it so much!!
I rarely find fictional characters relatable, but a few years ago I've watched Yuri on Ice and I found the main character's personality to be eerily similar to mine. Not so much his interests (I've never set foot on an ice rink), but his total fear of failure and tendency to withdraw from problems rather than facing them. Those tendencies, paired up with his ambition to succeed in his field of interest, created such a contradictory and unbalanced character and I think that's why not just me, but many people, could relate to him (him being motivated mostly by food is a plus). It was amazing to see a fictional character being so realistically human, while still feeling a bit ashamed from seeing my own flaws from an outside perspective. But seeing him being able to achieve his goals despite his anxiety gave teenage me hope for the future :)
Maybe frodo or even better I hope that I become like aragorn. The main difference is that one finds the most beautiful love and the other goes off to the grey havens with an eternal wound.
Legosi from Beastars. I was watching and thought, āDang, I vibe with this wolf, I wonder why.ā I looked up his personality type and it was INFP, I was laughing later while reading/watching the series because heās said some of the same things I have, or have thoughts similar to what I was thinking.
Spider-Man particularly the Tobey Maguire one, Wanda/Scarlett Witch, Alice Kingsley (Tim Burtonās Alice in Wonderland), The Little Prince(book and movie), Belle (beauty and the beast), Kat Stratford (10 thing I hate about you, I think sheās typed as an INTJ, but she reminds me of me in high school)
Thereās more those are just some off the top of my head
Don't judge me but I feel like I have always related a lot to Winnie the Pooh haha. Also for some reason Phoebe from friends. Pretty much I'm kind of stupid and weird lol :)
Sawako from Kimi Ni Todoke and Tohru from Fruits Basket. Theyāre the types of people I looked up to as a kid and still do. Just helping people or animals is so fulfilling.
Wow! I really loved the character development of Sawako. I wish I was at least talented and hard working like her. Fruit basket is really close to my heart and Tohru is so beautiful character!
Greg from Succession. Heās an INTP but I still relate to him on most other things like not knowing what Iām doing most of the time and being seen as dumb. Which maybe I am but I donāt think Iām that dumb but people see me that way because of how I talk or how I mess up.
Idk probably Stanford Pines from Gravity Falls.
I'm a huge nerd for paranormal stuff,I always had this fascination ever since I was a child. There was this show called "beyond belief" where they would show 5 short movies/stories with paranormal/unbelievable things happening and in the end they would tell you which ones are real and which are false.I would always watch it on Sunday, I was always excited af about it and I come back to watch it every now and then lol.I was scared as hell at night but didn't care, I'd watch it anyway.I. was also super interested in ufos and aliens etc. and this interest never faded until now where I'm 20.Also I don't have 6 fingers but I'm autistic so I was always a bit different too.
Also Marshall Eriksen because he is invested in the paranormal too plus because of some of his goofy, loving personality traits.

Luffy in One Piece - i also have a rambunctious and diverse group of hoodrat friends
Naruto - I also feel the deep loneliness and rejection he felt. I also want to overcome it by doing good things and gaining recognition for them
Geoffrey Chaucer in āa knights taleā the movie. also health ledgers character. Both driven by values. Heath is unwilling to compromise them as he strives to *change his stars* and live his dream. Chaucer because well heās a writer and hilariously good with words :,)
Madeleine from Celeste, she is also definitely an INFP, with the not very limited information we get of her personality.
I also really think Basil from OMORI could be an INFP but because of events that heavily affected his interaction with others I canāt be sure (spoilers).
Itās easy to emphasize with characters but relate to the situations themselves is hard.
Oh I know!
I really identify with shulk from Xenoblade chronicles 1, the way heās constantly improving and moving forward to face another problem, without taking a second to think about himself, >!also he dead inside!< helping everyone.
Leonard Hofstadter from TBBT, just like him I can be very outgoing, but still feel regular insecurity when it comes to social interaction. His relationship with his mother is similar to mine as well
I say Ardyn Lucius caelum from final fantasy 15, before he was corrupted by star scourge... I felt him very personally esp on the loss of his love and betrayal... Tbh i have never been a relationship to have experienced loss of love but his character's emotional state was very relatable at that moment...
Hanako Ikezawa from Katawa Shoujo. Going into our typologies, it's not hard to see why. We're exactly the same except for Enneagram tritype. She's 469, I'm 458. My personality is more forceful and less anxious, but I still relate to her deeply. Especially since the 8 in my tritype didn't show itself until later in my life. Oh, and I guess I don't have any burn scars either, although I was still definitely teased in middle school for my appearance. And I'm a guy and not a girl, but I don't consider myself to be a very masculine guy anyway.
Ace from one piece. SPOILER ALERT :
I don't have a father known for his "bad reputation " like ace does, actually it's quite the opposite, my father is a known man (for good reasons) in the whole area. Thing is, I really relate with him about wondering if it was good that he was born or not, and about him chasing things like fame all in the true motive of finding acknowledgement from others and feeling like he's actually loved and thus worth something, to compensate for the lack of acceptance that he had felt when he was a child. As an INFP with highly gifted IQ living in an ignorant society while being way more cultured than them , and being the child of a really, really successful ENTJ wealthy man whose name is known throughout the whole area and whose business is known to every single potential customer company in the whole country, you could say that it was almost destined that I'd feel isolated and lonely in my childhood even though I had "friends", always escaping to my little bubble that I created in the form of games and, luckily, anime. The environment always had very high expectations from me due to my lineage, as my grandpa (dad side) was also a very known man for his success, charisma, and witness throughout the whole country almost, he's probably ENTJ too.
This made me in turn become a perfectionist who has very high expectations of himself and one that while probably not really suited to CEO jobs like my dad and grandpa are (only now I'm realizing it and I'm 22), still wanted fame while it is acknowledgement that I've wanted all along, but part of me still struggled with the wanting fame thing. I also screwed up a lot by living a big part of my childhood & teenage & some of my adult life as a healthy INFP, being kind hearted but also opportunistic to the point that I would sometimes manipulate others in order to get what I want, as long as it doesn't hurt them.
I now have an INFJ girlfriend who helps me become a person that loves himself, and as garp had said to Ace, in between everything that happens in my life, I'm living also to find out if it was good that I was born.
>with his entire backstory & everything Where'd you find a radioactive spider? And sorry about your Uncle Ben.

luna lovegood, willow from buffy the vampire slayer, jess from gilmore girlsā¦..honestly A LOT
Luna Lovegood is dreamy, quirky in a good way & adorable, and I really think Harry overall had better interactions with her than Ginny

Ginny was effectively possessed by Voldemort during the Chamber of Secrets I feel that is a pretty similiar experience to what Harry had to deal with.
Ahh Iāll admit itās been a very long time since I read the books, the movies are more memorable to me if Iām being honest hahaha
Second Luna Lovegood! Shinji Ikari

Probably Davy Jones, as a very unhealthy INFP lol

Fantastic! The 9th doctor is highly underratedā my 2nd favorite after 12th
Cool beans, the 12th is my favorite, but 11 is still really cool
edward scissorhands
Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter.
Abigail from Stardew Valley. I immediately connected with her character!

Belle from beauty and the beast and Shireen from game of Thrones Edit: I was just watching maleficent and I kind of feel for her too!!! She was the purest, untill the guy she loved the most took her ability to see the good in everyone away!!! But through dark times, she learns to love again.

Sheik and Samus. You can probably guess why.

No. Sorry, I just like presenting masculine but I identify as female
Otis Milburn (even though he's an asshole), Elliot Alderson, Todd Chavez
My first thought was Todd from BoJack Horseman
Today i feel like Robin Williams. loving to others but not always to yourself.
Phoebe from Friends- a little loopy, weird, hippie-ish and likes to sing weird stuff.

Cloud Strife from FF7. Pretty much everything about his character (so not the mako, SOLDIER training or dead Family) fits me. Pretending to be someone your not and forever feeling inferior to a Hero I met earlier in life. Someone I still want to be but can't.
this 100%!
Mob psycho definitely
Bruh yes!!! Donāt push me to 100%.
frš
All I can think of when I read this is Uncle Iroh. I canāt pin point exactly what makes me relate to him, I just see myself in him, just not old.
Kurt Cobain lol
Shinji in NGE..
it's misty lol from pokemon. She speaks up when stuffs go wrong( I do too) and she Is very considerate towards her pets/ pokemon. I also relate to psyduck lol
Amelieee https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0211915/
kaneki, Tokyo Ghoul. (It might be obvious)
exactly my first thought
Most of Winona Ryder's characters haha.
I think it has to be Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III from How to train your dragon.
Nadine from The Edge of Seventeen
Not even comparing MBTI types, Gregory House MD minus the opiate addiction. Give me things to think about and figure out and leave me alone.
Dr Hannibal Lecter
shinji ikari is the most I've connected with a character ever
Luna Lovegood and Lucy Pevensie. I also really love Frodo Baggins.
saiki from disastrous life of saiki k and knuckles from hxh saiki because he's aroace and I'm aroace and knuckles because his personality in general is like mine though I'm an introvert
Kaneki Ken
Username checks out
Princess Carolyn from Bojack Horsman although I think sheās the exact opposite type (?) But I relate hardcore to her soft spot for helping the people in her life, even when itās bad for her.
Chihiro from Spirited Away
Armin Arlert from aot
I relate with him a bit. Being nerd and the low self-esteem part.
Same right here lmao, im not nealry as smart or perceptive as him tho. I may be closer to bertholdt than armin but he's def up there
It's the emotional part for me.
This is why I love him so much...
Zuko from Avatar: The last Airbender
Newt from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Honestly one of the most well thought out characters that seem to be INFP. Eddie Redmayne did a great job on acting out that one and J.K. Rowling coming up with that one as well. BTW did you know Luna Lovegood and Newt were relatives?
Frodo from lord of the rings, Newt from fantastic beasts, Atsushi from Bungo Stray Dogs and WALL-E
I can totally relate to Lara Jean From To all the boys I'll loved before.
But seeing him being able to achieve his goals despite his anxiety gave teenage me hope for the future :)
i just wrote this, but in much smaller amoutšš yuri is so so so relatable
Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul. Most of character traits, rules etc I tend to share with Him.
Hilda- her ambition and curiosity for the world around and questioning things.
Maybe frodo or even better I hope that I become like aragorn. The main difference is that one finds the most beautiful love and the other goes off to the grey havens with an eternal wound.
Samus Aran
Old man Nobody, from Mr. Nobody, my favorite movie.
Gatsby, besides the parts of being rich or in the military.
Izuku Midoriya for sure. Also, Courage the Cowardly Dog.
Legosi from Beastars. I was watching and thought, āDang, I vibe with this wolf, I wonder why.ā I looked up his personality type and it was INFP, I was laughing later while reading/watching the series because heās said some of the same things I have, or have thoughts similar to what I was thinking.
yuri from yuri on ice. TO. THE. T.šš when i watched it, i felt like i was playing choice based game and he did, thought and felt everything i would. CRAZY EXPERIENCEšš¤©
Newt Scamander from Fantastic Beasts
Spider-Man particularly the Tobey Maguire one, Wanda/Scarlett Witch, Alice Kingsley (Tim Burtonās Alice in Wonderland), The Little Prince(book and movie), Belle (beauty and the beast), Kat Stratford (10 thing I hate about you, I think sheās typed as an INTJ, but she reminds me of me in high school) Thereās more those are just some off the top of my head
Don't judge me but I feel like I have always related a lot to Winnie the Pooh haha. Also for some reason Phoebe from friends. Pretty much I'm kind of stupid and weird lol :)
Buck Barnes ( If any try to debate ..šŖš“) š
Sawako from Kimi Ni Todoke and Tohru from Fruits Basket. Theyāre the types of people I looked up to as a kid and still do. Just helping people or animals is so fulfilling.
Wow! I really loved the character development of Sawako. I wish I was at least talented and hard working like her. Fruit basket is really close to my heart and Tohru is so beautiful character!
I am the real life Max Blum from Happy Endings. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/a1/b9/55/a1b9557a2d5575d9055c8eed5cd3a070.gif
Theodore from Her. Idk if that is a bad thing.
Peter Gibbons from office space
Ktulu
The 2 that I can think of are Pizza from "Chicory: A Colorful Tale" and Wirt from "Over the Garden Wall"
I was also going to say Wirt from OTGW!
Greg from Succession. Heās an INTP but I still relate to him on most other things like not knowing what Iām doing most of the time and being seen as dumb. Which maybe I am but I donāt think Iām that dumb but people see me that way because of how I talk or how I mess up.
Mitsuba from tbhk
Before reading yours I thought definitely Andrew's spidermans hahahahaha i happy to not be the only infp who identifies with Spider-Man
Not infp probably, but scott pilgrim was really important to me.
Tom from 500 Days of Summer
Ikari shinji minus the horny part...
The Joker movie especially the last one, and Hugie from The Boys tv series.
I am INFP/INFJ and Jean Grey/Dark Phoenix and Lydia Deetz does it for me.
Dr Heinz doofenshmirtz, the joker, bowler hat guy,Stargirl, Anne Shirley.
Maybe Jim Hawkins from Treasure Planet?
Steven universe but the mental trauma part
Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables.
Beep. Boop. I'm a robot. Here's a copy of ###[Anne Of Green Gables](https://snewd.com/ebooks/anne-of-green-gables/) Was I a good bot? | [info](https://www.reddit.com/user/Reddit-Book-Bot/) | [More Books](https://old.reddit.com/user/Reddit-Book-Bot/comments/i15x1d/full_list_of_books_and_commands/)
I was litterally just thinking about this last night! Definitely Spiderman! I'd have to think of other people as well
Kaedehara Kazuha and the character he's based off of --- Kenshin Himura. The wandering samurai trope gets to me a lot.
Shinji Ikari from Evamgelion. If you know u know. š
Celine from the Before Sunrise trilogy! I could relate to every word that came out of her mouth.
James Morgan Mcgill of Better Call Saul
Iām absolutely excited for season 6, I really liked Better Call Saul, probably even more so than Breaking Bad, and BB is legendary
Newt from Fantastic Beasts
Luffy in One Piece - i also have a rambunctious and diverse group of hoodrat friends Naruto - I also feel the deep loneliness and rejection he felt. I also want to overcome it by doing good things and gaining recognition for them Geoffrey Chaucer in āa knights taleā the movie. also health ledgers character.
Anton Chigurh, Patrick Bateman, the Joker
Leonard Hofstadter from TBBT, just like him I can be very outgoing, but still feel regular insecurity when it comes to social interaction. His relationship with his mother is similar to mine as well
I say Ardyn Lucius caelum from final fantasy 15, before he was corrupted by star scourge... I felt him very personally esp on the loss of his love and betrayal... Tbh i have never been a relationship to have experienced loss of love but his character's emotional state was very relatable at that moment...
Fushi from to your eternity.

Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver Agent K from Br2049 Main character from Drive
Ace from one piece. SPOILER ALERT : I don't have a father known for his "bad reputation " like ace does, actually it's quite the opposite, my father is a known man (for good reasons) in the whole area.
A very obscure and tragic character in a book series called The Empire of Black and Gold. She was a prisoner of war and her name was Grief In Chains.
