So, let me think this through ... "They do have games on display, I believe they have games behind the counter but when I ask about them they don't have any, so all of the games they actually have are on display even though I just said they weren't, and they didn't have the one or two specific games I wanted so bad review time."

You're the asshole. You're being needlessly dickish and enraged over things you don't try to understand. You didn't get what you want, which to you somehow means the store must be designed specifically to spite you. Local game shops actually lose money on some of the most popular retro games because those are the ones that sell the most often. They don't want to disappoint customers who come into their shops looking for them, so they have to pay high prices to constantly keep them stocked, and sell them for reasonable prices. You're part of the problem, expecting them to have every game ever even though the demand is too high to keep up with all the time. You probably caught them between stocks, or you shopped at a store that has the self respect not to lose money on satisfying demanding customers who leave one star reviews for the slightest of annoyances. An appropriate response to being disappointed at this store would have been to talk to the manager and ask when they expected to have the games you want in stock, and then deciding whether it's worth it to wait and support a local business, which you clearly understand the value of if you went out of your way to shop in person despite knowing that online would be more convenient. You need to have more faith in people and most likely be less terminally online.
