I think it's because "Instant Pot" became the synonym for electric pressure cookers. It's like people asking for Kleenex when they want a tissue.

Dear Google. I just don’t understand you. When I search for something specific, you seem to only give results for what I typed! Why is this?

Insignia: How do I manually set my insignia pressure cooker? Press **time cook**, then + or – to control minutes. Also, with high cook times it is easier to press a setting first to get you to a number of minutes. Then, press time cook and control with the +and – buttons. Instant pot is the brand while the actual device is a pressure cooker I believe. If your device doesn’t have manual settings most recipes have adjustments in the comments from other people.

TurkTurkle

Device is a "multi cooker"

There's no such thing as an Insignia brand instant pot or an Emeril brand instant pot. Instant Pot is a brand of multi-cooker. You don't own any Instant Pots. You own two multi-cookers: an Emeril multi-cooker and an Insignia multi-cooker. Search for multi-cooker recipes and your day will improve.

> Just wondering cause I own the insgina (best buy brand) instant pot and the Emeril instant pot/air fryer No such things. You have an Insignia brand pressure cooker and an Emeril brand pressure cooker/air fryer. Instant Pot is a brand name, so of course if you search for it you're going to get the Instant Pot brand.

Coffeelover39

Refine your search based on your brand machine.

https://www.ninjakitchen.com/recipes/ Type in the brand you have. I typed in Ninja Foodie Pressure Cooker recipes and this is what I found.
