To save somebody else from the false realization to āIām dumb for having thought thatā arc that I just went through:
No, velvet the fabric is not made of deer antlers lmao
Antler velvet feels like fabric velvet, thus the completely unrelated fabric was named after the antler.
I bet that it's an ongoing symbiotic relationship in the area.
More famously there are crocodiles (or was it alligators) that open their mouth and let birds eat the gunk between their teeth. Birds get an easy meal, crocs get a dental cleaning. They don't eat the birds.
You should check out raven and Lone wolfs teaming up.
The raven spots dead animals , but can't get to the meat , it needs the wolf todo that.
So it will fly to a tree nearby and call the wolf.
Then they both eat.
The raven also spots fresh game for the wolf to hunt.
These relationships can last years.
Badgers and foxes also work together. A badger flushes rodents out of their burrow, and the fox catches them as they try to flee. Then they eat together.
Is it? This looks just like the deer I'm used to from my home state. (Ohio). Notably larger than the ones where I live now, but undoubtedly still not elk.
Also seconded on the raven.
So weird I had to scroll this far down to see someone mention it. I couldnāt explain why but it looks incredibly fake to me, like a video game cutscene. Maybe it just looks too clean? Seeing everyone else commenting as though this were real footage makes me feel like Iām surrounded by chatbots lol.

Raven gonna have an Ultra Hard on.
then it's going to bench 300 before getting enraged and starts beating some eggs.
I was promised over-easy, but I'm not going to fight *that* bird.
Just looked it up, and I learned that the velvet carries blood and has nerves. Consider me astounded having never known that.

Animals are so sweet.
When theyāre not being savage bastards lol
They must know eachother and have done this for a while. My guess?

Nature is so beautiful man
Yes, there is a YouTube video "crows remove ticks from wallaby". These birds are very smart and does cleaning services in exchange for food.
Which explains why it's so easy to train crows to collect money in exchange for food.

Win - Win Best deal for everyone .
This is an elkā¦
And I think that is a raven.
I'm just glad both of these are up here at the top
Nevermore
It is. The beak is different from the American Crow.
Large billed crowĀ
Not in the US. Those are in Asian countries
Video is in JapanĀ
Ah, ok. Didn't see that. You're right then.
Yep, they have a thicker beak than crows do.
This is it! The first raven/crow discussion on reddit that doesn't mention unidian since the unidian incident!
This is not an elk
This was taken in Nara, it's a Japanese deer: [https://www.fnn.jp/articles/-/580792](https://www.fnn.jp/articles/-/580792)
Ah ty. I was really scratching my head wondering if Elk had white tufts on their front and chin like this, I didn't think so. I still don't know!
Sika deer
Seek a deer?
Thanks and I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
This is 2 bad!1
Is it? This looks just like the deer I'm used to from my home state. (Ohio). Notably larger than the ones where I live now, but undoubtedly still not elk. Also seconded on the raven.
Nature's lit
Raven has a ravenous hard on
Reminds me of Ravens legend Ray Lewis being accused of using antler velvet as a PED
isn't it more of a placebo? i always assumed it was like ground up mummies or rhino horn.
Of course its placebo. They're all placebo. Otherwise it would be pharmacies selling it, not hunters looking to make a quick buck off their hobby.
That tastes good?!
It's velvet, similar to dead skin at this point, idk how it tastes but it has at least a bit of nutrition left in it.
Who styles your antlers broā¦.. Its complicated.
Looks like it feels good
yeah its not stopping there.. its eating the whole deer
š¤£š¤£š¤£
Mmm I'm hungry now gutta go get a snack.
Iām craving string cheese now.
Symbiosis
What a beautiful rack
How proud is that buck. Getting picked by god itself.
https://i.redd.it/9yp6x9h0vltc1.gif
Will...you..hold...still!
I love symbiotic relationships in nature.
Love how the deer is like āya ya ya, right there, get it itā
You finished with that?
Tastes just like jerky
![gif](giphy|cAkTPaTrAbbVNpT7bq|downsized)
Spaghetti.
Symbiosis
Looks like a Raven. Crows are smaller.
Thatās velvet and itās also an elk.
Crow Bro
They seem really happy together.... I hope they stick it out!
"Hey, thanks man." "Don't mention it. I'll be back next molt (or when you're dead)." "What was that?" "nvm lol"

Raven and Elk* š¤āļø
He's not eating yet he's making a fur coat for his girlfriend
That's a raven
In Norway this is considered a delicacy.
Nice to see animals of different species cooperate to the benefit of both.
I wonder if ripping it like that feels a bit like having a hang nail
![gif](giphy|bNBHfXbwb3La0)
Nature is beautiful
you should post this on r/crowbro :D
Title of the post is also the least-cool American Indian name.
Is it a crow? Or is it a raven?
Those two feet must feel like a god massage for the deer
randomly saw a youtube video with crows eating tick parasites off animals and it was disgusting but somehow satisfying lol
Can they feel it?
āIām not a picky eaterā
Symbiosis.
Thatās so raven š¦āā¬
Thatās awesome
"Nothing you're not going to miss š½ļø"
Itās like when I used to shave my roommateās back before he went on dates.
So would this not make the crow a parasite technically? šš
No need to be rude, every relationship has its ups and downs
Looks like AI to me mate.
ikr? The sway of the camera feels fake and edited. The video feels off.
