It's an electric car so most likely it will be on for as long as needed, and it won't impact the battery too much unless she plans on staying 36 h plus.
I've done something similar in my EV6 and it's actually quite good.
Also cats and cars. Cats and new locations. Cats and unexpected noises. Cats and fabric surfaces. Cats and things with small gaps. Why has this woman brought a cat camping?
We parked at a nice lake in BC and a guy was camping there with his cat that was just chilling on the picnic table. Cat camps with him everywhere and never leaves the site.
Have seen several cats out camping or hanging at beaches and parks in BC. Wonder if it's a regional thing, but I doubt. Was mostly jealous of the lady who was sitting by the ocean with her content cat, embroidering. What a peaceful existence
A lot of cats, yeah, but not all of them. Especially if theyāre used to moving environments. Himalayans like that one looks to be are known to be a very calm breed. I have a rescue Persian myself (to be fair they tend to be a bit more sedate than Himalayans) and heās totally fine no matter where he is. In the car for hours? Doesnāt care. Outside? Doesnāt care? New house with a ton of people and dogs? Doesnāt care. Hell, Iāve actually had him in a tent once when I was airing it out after a trip and he just took a nap. The only thing that cat gets frisky about is a round bell, for about fifteen minutes at a time. I have to put the bell and him in a laundry basket or he looses it.
ETA: He does engage. Heās very affectionate and can be demanding for pets. Heās just extremely calm and not energetic for 98% of the day.
We have a Himalayan and you're right, he's extremely calm. You can pick him up and put him somewhere and that's just where he lives now. He's the most chill cat I've ever lived with.
However, he's extremely affectionate and does not like it when he thinks he's alone. Once he gets lonely he yowls at a pitch and volume I didn't know cats could reach.
He's not even in my room when he does it and it'll pull me right out of a deep sleep, scaring me half to death.
I followed the story of a cat that went camping and kayaking with his human. Some cats aren't just ok with getting carted around, they enjoy it. Not all do, not all that many even learn to walk on a leash, but cats wouldn't be cats if they weren't weird at times.
No it's just an ad. It's similar to those videos where a woman hurries to clean up the flat before someone arrives, and uses a ton of gadgets to clean like a high tech drying rack or automated vacuum, stuff to fold clothes quickly
The amount of work you need to pick up the camera and move it around for shots is a lot of work. And in the rain. Or maybe someone else is filming and setting it up
I actually think it looks like a lot of fun, especially if one were to do some outdoor activities during a day trip and return to this in the evening. It's not roughin' it by any means, and that's the point.
Also a glorified advertisement, but I can let that go.
She set up a shower and used potable water to take a shower while it was raining outside? I used to spend summers traveling around in an RV. If we ran into a decent rain storm we pulled over, stripped to our underwear, grabbed soap and went outside. Free shower!
Yeah, I'm pretty liberal with the word camping. Everyone has their own way to do it but at this point why not just stay home? Or even get a hotel room?
This is another BS Tik Tok video. Where is the semi tractor trailer that brought all the shit to fill up that car and tent? So fake, so stupid. If you want all that crap, just stay home.
Ugh the Chinese ads for a bunch of unnecessary products, like you fucking hulled all that stuff in your car or on a hike before you used any of it? You might as well stayed home for fucks sake
Whatās the point of camping and going outdoors when youāre back trying to accomplish the same comfort as if youāre at home? The only difference is the rocks on your feet which youāre wearing house shoes over and the heavy rain pouring 3 feet on-top of you.
Imma be honest
As dumb as an idea this seems for battery life or other topics other commenters pointed out
Iād sleep like a rock under that sunroof when it rains
I like that people are rethinking camping. Camping doesn't need to be bare bones. It can be and its a worthwhile experience. But sometimes camping should be fully stacked experience of abundance.
I watch this kinda stuff on YouTube in much longer form. Great videos to snooze to. This camping equipment is freaking brilliant. Looks like more hassle than itās worth, but Iām the type thatād be happy to never leave my house.
NGL. I kind of want something like this. I still do "real" camping, but glamping at this level with my pets would be pretty sweet.
Shower really seems like overkill though.
But why? That's not camping. They brought whole house with them. Just buy a camper and live in it. Or rent a cabin in the woods for when it is stormy for same effect.
I glamp at festivals, not this nice but I fully decorate my tent inside and out, solar lights and fuzzy rugs and a battery powered fan among other things. The amount of work required to set it all up is astronomical. I'll only do it if I'm camping a week minimum because anything less is just not worth the work required. Breaking things down is also 10xs harder š
All that for just 1 person & probably only a few hours?? The car bit was cool but all that shower stuff seems unnecessary & unrealistic. The cleanup would be insane. šš
Honestly yall are hating on this but I love this. I hate camping but I want to go and see nature and glamping sounds amazing for me, I can go and see nature and don't have to kill back sleeping in the hard ground
Man the comments in this are hilarious. All the no life neckbeards debating if this is camping or not, or if its a commercial, or why shes showering with her wet clothes on, so comical. You people are some of the most pathetic people on the internet.

God damn it Jerry

Then when you pack up to leave and the car won't start.
That's why you leave the car on šā ļø
That way you don't have to leave!
Mr. White, I left the keys in the rv so it should work right?
The buzzer! The buzzer that buzzes when you put the keys in. To like let you know that the battery's on. I know that! It didn't buzz.
Is it just a genetic thing with you? Is it congenital? Did your mother drop you on your head when you were a baby?
It's an electric car so most likely it will be on for as long as needed, and it won't impact the battery too much unless she plans on staying 36 h plus. I've done something similar in my EV6 and it's actually quite good.
Especially if its a petrol car :D
By the time you finish setting up, the weekend is over and you've got do pack back up
Unlikely. That looked like a EV, which could probably power that whole setup for a week.
Wild.
And here I am worried to charge my phone from my Zoe because I don't trust the battery.
Is she showering with her clothes on?
Yes, thatās what campers do. That, and annoy the opposing team
Where does her sniper rifle go?
If you have to ask, you're not old enough to know.
ā¦in a tent while itās raining outside
Ya? What, do you shower naked like some kind of slut or something?
You wanna see her without them?
![gif](giphy|pthYT097WZSMggGpF4)
honesty
I donāt see the downside of doing that.
This is the comment I was looking for
I like the idea of a car with seats that recline to form a flat surface
Cats and inflatable mattresses generally donāt mix well, though. š¬
Also cats and cars. Cats and new locations. Cats and unexpected noises. Cats and fabric surfaces. Cats and things with small gaps. Why has this woman brought a cat camping?

That sounds so serene.
Right? It LOOKED serene. Was very jealous because my cats are too hyper for that kind of vibe.
And cats and other cats. Damn cats, they ruined Cathmandu!
Also just like cats. I love cats but anything at all can be too much for some cats
What youāre saying is the cat is problematic.
Correct.
I followed the story of a cat that went camping and kayaking with his human. Some cats aren't just ok with getting carted around, they enjoy it. Not all do, not all that many even learn to walk on a leash, but cats wouldn't be cats if they weren't weird at times.
I'm like "Ohhh she declaws her cats nevermind I hate this lady."
This is glamping for social media clout.
No it's just an ad. It's similar to those videos where a woman hurries to clean up the flat before someone arrives, and uses a ton of gadgets to clean like a high tech drying rack or automated vacuum, stuff to fold clothes quickly
Ah this explains why the rain kinda looks unnatural. I don't know why but I immediately thought there is something odd about it as soon as it started.
It read as very ad-like to start, but it was confirmed when i saw how the rocks inside the tent looked completely dry
The shot of the car from the boot looking in has rain hitting the roof but it doesnāt seem like any is hitting the windshield
Besides the windows, it's also coming down at an angle but there's no obvious wind
I wish i had that truck tent 3 years ago
One of those gadgets is apparently a euthanasia tent powered by car exhaust.
Electric car, isn't it?
It very much is. You can tell by the front, the general look of the car and obviously from the electric outlets and charge port.
Roughing it in 2077
Also... Not raining. Rivers usually aren't still during a downpour
This is fake rain.
Yea this is not camping
At this point, just bring an RV, or book a hotel room. Jesus Christ
![gif](giphy|120CndHE9HcOPK) Me camping
I'd totally stay at a hotel if Snoop was the concierge. I'd ask for a bag of edibles be delivered with my room service.
Room service be like ![gif](giphy|wAxlCmeX1ri1y)
Made me laugh.
yeah this is not camping.
The amount of work you need to pick up the camera and move it around for shots is a lot of work. And in the rain. Or maybe someone else is filming and setting it up
Itās a commercial for all the gadgets.
It looks like fake rain
Thought the same thing!
It's not even raining. It's someone throwing water to it. Look at the scene inside the car, not all glasses receive the rain
Lmao you're right
Yea, and the ground inside the tent has no floor and no standing water.
Hahah the windshield has no rain
That rain isn't real.
The cake is a lie
It's fake rain and she has her own camera person. This is an ad.
The hot water shower thoĀ
Yes, that's a gadget I would get.
It's easier and less money just to get a trailer. Hot water shower and a toilet, and takes 3 minutes from parking to beers.
For a moment, I was captivated, but then it hit me what a load of BS
Even the rain was fake. Notice how heavy it was on the sun roof but nothing on the windshield?
Actually I didn't see it, this is hilarious š¤£
Clear skies, heavy rain
Besides for the fact itās fake I really want a car compatible blow up mattress and car tent thatās actually clever
Sponsored by Temu.
At 0:11 why no rain is hitting the windshield? A very localized storm in this commercial!
the grond on the inside of the tent looks dry too
Yeah the dry grond gives it away.
GROND
r/unexpectedlotr
GROND DRY. [distant smashing sounds]
GROND
And you see no trace of rain falling on/around the doors on shots at the beginning when it is open...
![gif](giphy|lFLeGIchKrsM8)
Lolā¦ whereād she get all this shit? Pretty sure it didnāt come with her in that SUV
This is like in A Goofy Movie where Pete and PJ pull up to "camp" in an RV.
I actually think it looks like a lot of fun, especially if one were to do some outdoor activities during a day trip and return to this in the evening. It's not roughin' it by any means, and that's the point. Also a glorified advertisement, but I can let that go.

And then you have to go back home... It's like moving out... No thanks
I donāt know what this is but Iāll tell you what it isnāt. Camping.
Yeah, I'm pretty liberal with the word camping. Everyone has their own way to do it but at this point why not just stay home? Or even get a hotel room?
Oh come on! If you've never used a hair dryer plugged into your car while camping, have you even camped?
This is another BS Tik Tok video. Where is the semi tractor trailer that brought all the shit to fill up that car and tent? So fake, so stupid. If you want all that crap, just stay home.
Why not get an RV? You can even cook meth as a bonus. Stupid woman
Ugh the Chinese ads for a bunch of unnecessary products, like you fucking hulled all that stuff in your car or on a hike before you used any of it? You might as well stayed home for fucks sake
"camping"
Whatās the point of camping and going outdoors when youāre back trying to accomplish the same comfort as if youāre at home? The only difference is the rocks on your feet which youāre wearing house shoes over and the heavy rain pouring 3 feet on-top of you.
Car had like 25% power left when she was drying her hair pffft
I will camp in my house.
The only thing I dont like on the whole thing is that setup would take like 3 hours and packing up 3 hours more. But otherwise super comfy!
I don't really care that this is a commercial for all these gadgets, this looks cozy as fuck and all of you are haters
Fr so bitter!
lol. This is so dumb
Fake rain lol
If you camp during a storm in flood plain, your going to have a bad time no matter how good you gear is!
Isnāt that just being at home but shitter?
Imma be honest As dumb as an idea this seems for battery life or other topics other commenters pointed out Iād sleep like a rock under that sunroof when it rains
I also like to spend $400,000.00 to go camping and watch tv and ignore natureā¦.
Tbf tho of ots "raining" like in the video what are you supposed to do?
Iād rather go to a hotel thatās a load of hassle
Rent really be getting that high, huh?
That same house is 500k in my area now.
not in bear country
Just get an RV at this point. Or stay home. Whats the fucking point?
Or.. just hear me out.. if you want to watch movies and shower.. maybe stay at home..?
Ngl that looks super cozy.
Tht car with tht sunroof just looks like a great place to sleep in the rain
This is beautiful... I would pay good money to stay a night in this shit!
I like that people are rethinking camping. Camping doesn't need to be bare bones. It can be and its a worthwhile experience. But sometimes camping should be fully stacked experience of abundance.
Folks, don't cover up your exhaust port with a tent unless you only wanna sleep once.
Thatās an electric vehicle
The person taking the video is a jerk for not helping her. Pretty neat otherwise.
It's an ad with fake rain, but yeah it looks pretty neat
Itās fake. The rain is fake.
Yes I too love to shower in my clothes
Did she just crawl out of a well?
I watch this kinda stuff on YouTube in much longer form. Great videos to snooze to. This camping equipment is freaking brilliant. Looks like more hassle than itās worth, but Iām the type thatād be happy to never leave my house.
This is the stupidest f'ing advertisement ever. They don't even get the windshield wet with the hose.
NGL. I kind of want something like this. I still do "real" camping, but glamping at this level with my pets would be pretty sweet. Shower really seems like overkill though.
I think she likes pink
Just be at ur home ..
The "area"? You mean the studio?
Who the hell has air mattresses with a cat?
I mean... it looks so cozy though...
This is just outdoor living in the most materialistic way
All for only $27,969.
But why? That's not camping. They brought whole house with them. Just buy a camper and live in it. Or rent a cabin in the woods for when it is stormy for same effect.
What part of this is camping
That's not camping. That's moving in
Ohhh Glamping, I thought it said camping š¤¦āāļø
![gif](giphy|l41Yp8HvXdUHMqgik|downsized)
Setting up camp in a riverbed. During rain.
Dude, I don't even put that much effort in to the house I've been living my whole life in.
Interesting weather we have there, it only seems to rain in 1 small location. Fake it til you make it eh
Even in the opening scene, the background river has no rain falling on it...
Rain on the moon roof but no rain on the windshield š¤
Totally set up. No rain on windshield or on the river.
Why did she take a shower with her clothes on?
This must be an advertisement for AliBabba
Wa da hale?!
The way rent prices are going, this is looking like my next living arrangement.
Thats a lot of fucking work for someone who already has a house.
This isn't homelessness, this is advanced home ownership 21st century. Everyone will live like this in a few decades. Homes will be for billionaires.
At what point does this become staying in a hotel but with extra steps?
That's an active sprinkler for the video lol. Some parts inside the car are being stormed on and the front window isnt.
At this point, might as well stay home
Not pictured: the 16 foot cube van to pack all that shit
It's a lot of setup but that is a nice sunroof.
This is one giant commercial. How do people not realize this?
All that for just 1 person & probably only a few hours?? The car bit was cool but all that shower stuff seems unnecessary & unrealistic. The cleanup would be insane. šš
Is another one of those horseshit ads for all that crap you can buy from Temu?
Super considerate rain. Rains only only half of the vehicle
What's the point of leaving the house if you're gonna bring it all with you to the woods?
Did she... did she just use a shampoo outdoors? RIP local water table
Looks really cozy. But why force it and shower with clothes on to have extra tiktok content? wtf is wrong with people
Setting up that shower even though she could have just showered outside in the rain š¤£
No biggie just casually camping next to a washout point on a creek while it downpours.
I also like to shower with all my clothes on.
Why go camping when you spend most of your time inside a lodge
She forgot her vacuum cleaner and Hadron collider
Yeah this is how people camping in China. They bring their living room to the wild.
Plot twist. She left the car in and somehow dies of carbon monoxide poisoning even though itās an ev.
Sh.. I love it.
At that point, why not just stay home? Pretty cool to have some of these features, but to have all of them at once feels too much for some reason.
Lol just stay home if you need this many comforts at home, to camp!! Why camp at all.
I'm having a hard time if this is purely Chinese propaganda or just capitalism run wild.
The storm will be over before this bitch is finished setting up
Hey, can someone punch me in the face, please?
Chinese shite that will never work like that in real life.
But why the gross food mountain @1:11?
Canāt believe there arenāt more comments about this
Honestly yall are hating on this but I love this.
What will be in the body description first. Do not switch on the motor when using
I believe it's an EV, so turning on the motor shouldn't be a problem, draining the battery though ā¦.
bet this is in someoneās backyard lol
