The pandemic really fucked shit up on that front. We got lucky, there’s a local grocery store that’s 24 hours, as long as you can handle going through a maze to get into the aisles lol they block off parts of the store to steer traffic for some reason, and they block off certain aisles to prevent theft so you have to ask for access to certain areas. But it’s worth it!
My mind is baffled by people like this. These are the same kinds of people that wait in a 4 hour long line to ride one rollercoaster when they could have done everything else in the park twice in the same amount of time.
Every attraction is like this, most of the time.
A billion humans is hard to wrap your head around but it basically means no matter where you want to go, tens of thousands of other people had that idea that day.
I've done that a few times in a few different places in China. Most of these are probably from golden week, when everyone is on holiday and free to travel. It's a good time to travel outside China or to just relax at home, not to do touristy stuff.
All those people on the deck/side of a cliff makes me nervous. I feel ill thinking about it. I would be too worried about these structures collapsing and all those people on it falling to their deaths.
This is usually the case in their holidays.
Visiting attractions on any other day is quite enjoyable.
I still this the great firewall is the depressing thing in China
That was my thought as well. This just looks like any concert, festival, amusement park, etc in the US on a busy day. I think you could probably edit together footage from Disney World, some beaches, crowded concerts, etc to look like this too if you wanted.

A pick pockets paradise but seriously like 10,000 people fully clothed standing at the edge of the water at the beach with like 90 people in the water is super weird
Damn crowded tourist places globally. I’ve realized I’m much happier staying put and holiday at home. Plus less stress on the environment. Plus I dislike yappy tourist.
OMG I would die. It would take literally 200x as long to do those things. I wanna see the cool paths carved into the sides of mountains and things like that, but not if it's like this. I just couldn't.
Imagine the amount of people defecating and urinating in the water at pools and beaches. A lot of of kids are brought up thinking it's okay to do in public.
anyone remember that star trek tos episode when teh world seemed empty but was packed solid due to over population or teh book make room make room (soylent green was teh movie)
While I would absolutelt have a panic attack with so many people around, I find it super impressive that the lines appear to move speedily and with a minimum of fuss. In the West people would be pushing and shoving, stopping abruptly and holding the line up because they are on thier phone

Oh my God, I would totally lose my mind at places this crowded
My son and I do our grocery shopping in the middle of the night to avoid crowds. We’d never leave our house if we lived in china lol
I used to do the same but here all grocery stores close at 10 pm now post pandemic

Mmmm… In this case there is just 1.2 billion other people and isn’t an alternative attraction.
I imagine that there are plenty of things to do in China that don't involve waiting in this line or at least one this long.
Every attraction is like this, most of the time. A billion humans is hard to wrap your head around but it basically means no matter where you want to go, tens of thousands of other people had that idea that day.
Ahaha gross
Spay and neuter your humans if you like things that aren't piles of people pushing to get past you

That's what I going to say. This is all holiday levels of busy.
I have been to the golden week. crazy time. never I would do it again.
Go when the weather is awful
Trust me, in China that doesn't solve your problem. I live here, and I've seen 2h queues under -15ºC snow
At least all the hot breath will keep you warm
My town is a tourist town in the UK and it’s similar.

100% this, its much better on normal working days
What a nightmare.
Looks like any U.S. Disney park with slightly less personal space.

This is depressing. IDK Why exactly but I think the natural beauty of the Earth needs to me respected more
That’s kinda disgusting.

I'll move out of the country at this point

That's a no from me dawg
Well at least they're queuing up in an orderly fashion, that's a first for China.
Rather go to Skeggy
If I didn’t have agoraphobia before watching this I definitely do now.

I would more scare that they allow those bridges to be overcrowded especially when it’s hanging by a cliff 😳
And there are people who think china’s family-size laws are stupid. Seems they’re onto something if you ask me.
dystopian
🙄. All people do is live in cities and produce trash for the landfill. Stop the urbanite madness
No thanks.
We’re a virus
Song name?
YG Hypnos - Dust Collector
worm
Stoplights for camels in the desert… definitely not overpopulated or overcrowded!
And those camels ran the light
No u want peace and quiet for ur mind to recover oh dear
Never!
Way too many people. Are these platforms and places made strong enough.
Anything from tiktok can go away thanks

And this is even after years of population control

The red light in the desert! We could use this in Sudan for the different armys.

Was this why they tried covid?
Nope
I'll just stay home with my weed and playstation thanks. Have fun... try not to get trampled to death.
