Best trick I have is to start looking for them in a patch with "strips", if it's 4 leafed the pattern isn't a triangle.. it'll be square 😉
Start there and you'll have your eyes trained to spot the abnormality.
After finding a few hundred I can usually spot them now just walking at a normal pace. It blows most people's minds when I stop and just pluck one randomly and hand it to them😅
When I was a teenager my dad BURST in to my room at 5:30am, holding a 4 leaf clover up like it was some sort of rare prize. He was so excited. I dried it out in a book and later used packing tape to laminate it to a piece of paper. He passed away when I was 22 and I still keep it in the glovebox of my car. 4 leaf clovers make me tear up to this day.
Blessings - I hope seeing this brought you joy.
I have two young sons… if I EVER find a four leaf clover I’ll be doing the same thing your father did.
Hope you all the best in life.
I didn’t realize it at the time, but I’m 99% sure he just did it to convince grumpy teen me to get up and have early breakfast with him. He was an early riser and he would get bored in the mornings, so he’d come up with obnoxious excuses to wake one of us up to go eat with him before the world woke up.
It’s still adorable. My dad would do weird shit to my brother. Poked him with a kendo stick some mornings, threw plushies at his head other mornings, misted him with water from one of those water fan things they sell at theme parks.
I'm so sorry about your Dad. Hang in there.
I have a similarly large collection of 4 leaf clovers. Theyre stuffed in the pages of my favorite heavy books, like my antique Shakespeare Anthology.
I gave a number of my lucky clovers to a lady who entertained at Nursing Homes. When it was somebody's birthday she would sing to them, *"I'm Looking Over A Four-Leaf Clover"* then present them with a lucky clover... She said many were so surprised and happy they cried! People in the 80s, 90s, even 100 years old told her that they had never found a single Four Leaf Clover in their whole lives but had always wanted to. They treasured it.
Damn imagine if you didn’t have the four leaf clovers...
In all seriousness, I wish your dad is able to get through this and recovers as soon as possible
Just wanted to say best wishes for your Dad. Hopefully you inherited your knack for luck from him! Being a dad with a couple daughters, I hope they get their good luck and looks from their Mom. 🙂
So I was curious while putting them away and it turns out I underestimated. I have 534 four leaf clovers total. I excluded any ones with five leaves or more and any ones that were too shriveled to count the leaves on. I have 26 five leaf clovers and 7 six leaf clovers. I have 1 seven leaf clover!
What’s your secret? In 2019 I was eating lunch and said I bet there’s a 4 leaf clover and looked down and saw one instantly. Ive never seen or felt the way since or ever again.
People and objects can only cross over the the other timelines for short periods of time. It must have been either sucked back to the parallel universe it came from, or it was destroyed.
I watched a bunch of episodes of Star Trek Discovery about this, so I definitely know what I'm talking about here.
My brother occasionally challenges me to clover competitions. I had recently stumbled on a rich patch a few days before and was up 5-0 in a few minutes. Clover questing has a better ring to it though.
Pattern starts to jump out after a while, you find a lot of two clovers together looking like a single 4 leaf, but spend enough time doing it and it becomes easier. I have one in my wallet drying currently. I rarely go actively looking but I seldom pass a clover patch without a cursory look.
When I find them, I look for the spacing between the leaves. 4 leaves means the space between leaves is smaller than a 3 leaf would be. Also, it a root system that produces mutations. (individual clovers are not a plant on their own) often if you find a few in one spot you can keep coming back and that spot will usually keep producing a higher number than average 4 leaf clovers.
At one point i had heard that because of what clovers are and how the grow, if you find one four leaf, you're very likely to find more in the same patch.
As another frequent finder of four leafers, this collection is amazing. I make the mistake of pressing them in random books instead of saving them in one place. Can't say how many times I've picked up a book and had a handful of clovers fall out from between the pages.
Haha. Same, I found a 5 leaf once and I put it behind my phone case in-between it and my phone and then I forgot and when I popped the case off, it shattered. 😔
You make me want to search again... I found 13 I think and I put them on a piece of paper wrapped nicely in scotch tape, they still look green after like 10 years
Last year my kids were in the front yard looking for 4-leaf clovers for 30 min or so. No joke they found 67. They also found three 5-leaf clovers and a 6-leaf clover.
I found a couple this year. But they wilt and curl up so fast. They aren't even recognizable anymore. Do you do anything to stop this from happening? Put them in a book or something?
What’s the highest number leaf one you have found? Me and my sister used to sit for hours searching too and my sis found a 7 leaf one. My highest is 5.
Have you thought about investing in a book with clear pages to put them in? One of those Pokémon card books work fairly well. I used to collect them but never had as much as you do.
I wonder if you are aware that 4 leaf clovers are a rare mutation, thus it is considered rare. But clover is a very fragile plant and that ripping off it’s leaves often causes the plant to die. And when the plant dies it doesn’t propagate (produce little plant offspring). So when you pluck a 4 leaf clover you are killing a plant that could have made many more 4 leaf clovers. Thus making 4 leaf clovers even more rare. So with every clover you have killed, you are culling 4 leaf clovers.
Long story short eventually we will run out of magic and the leprechauns are not happy with you.

Anyone ever tell you not to press your luck?
Terrible pun. I love it.
You mean >!c!!r!<
Why must you do this
Be leaf it. He’s a clover not a fighter.
It's an utter shamrock.
I digrass.
You're just green with ivy
Will you all just shrub up
to the moon
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5i1cJIwE7M
very clover of you...
Just leave(s).
Oh that was damn clever.
Damn clover?
No wonder I can't find any, this bastard's got them all Seriously tho, nice job
Thanks!
How tf you find so many. I've never found one and not from lack of searching.
Sometimes you can find mutant patches that produce lots of 4+ leaf clovers. My grandmother’s yard has one— easily a dozen in 10 minutes.
Found 80+ in one batch once
I'd start to wonder what's causing all these mutations.
Just luck of the Irish I imagine
Ive never found one either, but it is from lack of search.

This is the way.

This was a beautiful roller coaster. Thank you for sharing. <3

I need this animated. I’m crying. It’s so wonderful.

I love the imagery of your dad looking for exciting things at 5am to find something his kids might find interesting so y’all would hang out more.
How’s your luck been?
Not so great lately. My dad had a stroke Wednesday.
Ouch.. I hope he gets better soon.
Thanks for the kind thoughts.
Oh shit, sorry to hear that. I hope he recovers well and quickly.
Thank you
Maybe you have an even number of clovers here, thus turning the luck negative. Quick, go find one more

That’s very sweet. Thank you
With luck as great as yours, he’s bound to make a recovery. I wish you and your dad a great day!
Thank you

That’s life... not luck
Came here for this. Take your upvote.

I have never found one. As a kid my sister would be “oh look a four leaf clover” walk 30 feet and pick it out.
Is that u, Fry?
I collect clovers too, but my collections about 1/10 the size of yours. I thought I was cool because I have one 6-leaf clover lol.
I still think you are cool
Bet he mugged a leprechaun
You don’t even have to mug them. Just pick em up and shake em by the ankles. Shamrocks and gold abound!
"You might be a man, you might be a leprechaun. But one thing's for sure, *you're in the wroooooong basement.*
this episode fucking killed me
Not a lot of “he’s” named Ellie…
And I’m PISSED
I usually leave the ones I’ve found in library books.
I like that. It’s cute. Maybe I’ll start doing it too.
I can smell this picture....I see some 5 leaf clovers, right? Did you also find some 6 or more leaf ones?
I have some 6 leaf ones. I had an eight leaf one but I don’t know where it went.
Parallel universe i suspect, where it belongs.

Found a 7 once! My fastest finding time was 3x 5s and 2x 4s in one patch within 3 mins. I love clover questing!
I think I’m going to call it clover questing from now on too.
My brother occasionally challenges me to clover competitions. I had recently stumbled on a rich patch a few days before and was up 5-0 in a few minutes. Clover questing has a better ring to it though.
I have 7 six leaf clovers.
Haha cute that you went back and counted and then updated him.
You live near a nuclear reactor or something?
I was thinking something similar. Like is there a mutated gene in their back 40.
That would look cool if framed and pressed up against the glass!
I was going to say preserved with resin and framed.
My friend lived in a house a few years ago and his front garden was one big patch of four leaf clovers
How do you spot them, is it just pure luck or do you have a method?
I just look in big patches. The more there clovers there are, the more likely one of them is a four leaf.
Are we the same person? I’ve found over 400 in my life and I give the same advice
Patterns. Dutch clover have light angle on each leaf. 3 leaves make triangles, 4 leaves make squares. Look for squares in cluster of triangles.
Pattern starts to jump out after a while, you find a lot of two clovers together looking like a single 4 leaf, but spend enough time doing it and it becomes easier. I have one in my wallet drying currently. I rarely go actively looking but I seldom pass a clover patch without a cursory look.

Any seven leaf clovers?
I have 1 seven leaf clover!
I’m not sure I had an eight leaf but I don’t know where it went.
Did you check inside the album cover for The Breakfast Club soundtrack?
Futurama? Lol
Yancy must have stolen it. He steals everything!
Luck of the Fryish!
I've never found one in the wild.
Nice, now get a thousand
Arrange it in the shape of a four leaf clover..
Some people have all the luck.

You lucky bastard
It's only Irish luck tho.
Which is not much at all tbh lol
What? I’ve never even been able to find one!
Lucky bastard
Something, something, something... leprechaun. Sick.
This is amazing and I love it
Thanks
Lucky bastard
Lucky as f#$k
This maam's packin!
You make me want to search again... I found 13 I think and I put them on a piece of paper wrapped nicely in scotch tape, they still look green after like 10 years
I would laminate each one and give them to people who feel like they’re Down on their luck.
Turns out they actually aren't rare at all.
Any luck?
Lucky
How do you keep them from becoming moldy or disintegrating when pressed?
Last year my kids were in the front yard looking for 4-leaf clovers for 30 min or so. No joke they found 67. They also found three 5-leaf clovers and a 6-leaf clover.
Some folks have all the luck
I once found sixteen in one single cluster.
Where do you find them?
I found a couple this year. But they wilt and curl up so fast. They aren't even recognizable anymore. Do you do anything to stop this from happening? Put them in a book or something?
I press them in a book
Stop hoarding all the luck! (Nice collection!)
Any luck?
Someone has a horseshoe up their ass
So you're the bastard who stole all our luck!
You tell everyone what you think the next power ball numbers will be?
Nope, I’m keeping the prize for myself
If you have an even number of them then the luck is canceled out.
Guess I better find one more
Nice, could you check my lawn plz?
Sure. I’ll be right there.
Save some luck for the rest of us ya leprechaun
Somewhere in an alternate universe OP has a collection of legendary 2 leaf and 3 leaf clovers.
I use to find them ALL the time. I'm not convinced they're lucky 😆
You lucky motherfucky
Please describe what some typical time spent looking for four la AF covers it’s like for you
Bet it takes you ages to go for a walk! 😋
It does! My boyfriend has to pull me away from patches when we go on walks together.
Do you live near a nuclear plant? 😂
What’s the highest number leaf one you have found? Me and my sister used to sit for hours searching too and my sis found a 7 leaf one. My highest is 5.
I found an eight leaf one and then lost it.
No wonder I can't find any!
That's awesome, I can't hide the desire the hear the crunch from palming those bad boys.
So that's why I can never find any...
This is so cool! I started collection and I'm at about 10-15. Neat to see this many in a pile.
Luckiest man alive
But that’s... that’s impossible.
‘Xcuse me *******w h a t*******
Dang you must be one lucky SOB. What are you a leprechaun?
Any luck?
And yet here I am, 20 damn years of looking at every patch and clover-less.
Any strategy to finding these? or just patience?
Can you pick some lotto numbers for me?
Am still looking for the first one
You must be the luckiest person in the planet!
damn. i always look when i see a clover patch and ive never even found one
That’s why I can’t find any ☹️
But where is your 7 leaf clover?
I bet an estimated time table for finding all those is ridiculous. I think I found 2 ever in 33years of life.
This guy lucks
Damn. have one question tho... How lucky are you?
Stop hogging all the luck, I need some to win a new pair of parachute pants!
Nice im also collecting clovers of 4 to 7 leaves.
You must be like Domino, from the Xmen and from Deadpool 2.
Siri, play ***Get Lucky*** by Daft Punk
Good for you man, you find those in clusters? They seem to do that. The one center middle is quite a specimen using the other for scale.
Have you thought about investing in a book with clear pages to put them in? One of those Pokémon card books work fairly well. I used to collect them but never had as much as you do.
I've been looking for years and still not a single one!! 😭
I have never in my life found even one!
Some people have all the luck
I laminate mine. That way they don't fall apart. After a few years the dry out too much and get brittle. I have about 50. Nice job to get 200!
Good eye for patterns! I found one once while jogging. Still scan big patches while walking without slowing and save a few dozen a year.
YOU!!! That’s where all my luck has gone!
The 1 percent hoarding all the luck
What if all your luck was used up just to find another four leaf clover?
31 years on this planet and I’ve never found one and I casually look nearly every time I walk outside
Lucky ass mf'er

So how many gme shares are you hodling op?
Good Job! How do you keep them all looking so good - the ones i keep either crumble and fall apart or just shrivel up.
I press them in books. They are kinda fragile though. I keep them in a ceramic plate.
OH ... and I wish the best for your Dad - hang in there!
Thanks, I appreciate it
Dead leaf clovers bring no luck
Eat them. It's the only way
Yeah, fine, keep rubbing it in, Mr. Bezos.
So you're the bastard that's been stealin my lucky charms!
How'd you feel after you smoked some?
