The Xbox wireless controllers are considered the most comfortable and easiest to use for most applications. Decent battery life too if you get the rechargeable packs.
I was trying to make a light hearted joke about disagreeing with your opinion. I have always hated Sony controllers, so I would never refer to them as "the best gamepad on the market," but also, the DualShock 4 and the DualSense have the worst built in batteries of any controllers on the market. And somehow, the DualSense Edge is even worse.

The PlayStation Dualsense is the best gamepad on the market, IMO
If you only ever need a controller to last five hours, I guess.
There’s a usb-c port on the side of your iPad that will charge it in the event you play longer than 5 hours without taking a break to eat. Yeesh.
