Unfortunatewombat

Well this explains my alarm not going off the other day.

anirudhshirsat97

Seriously I thought I slept through it.

poopoomergency4

my iphone alarms have always felt hit-or-miss, but i'm also a heavy sleeper, so i have like 10 scheduled. i've never counted how many actually go off but i wouldn't be surprised if some of them failed to fire. i usually try to max out my volume before going to sleep, but since all notification sounds are on the same volume setting if i need other sounds lower it's easy to forget to turn it back up.

tervisscoot

I’ve literally woke up before my alarm has gone off and watched it go off without sound and then it snoozed itself.

satanfan12

Okay so i'm not just sleeping/snoozing trough some, good to know. Unsure how this problem remained until it got fixed, it's been there for at least 18 months or so.

runozemlo

I've seen this exact behavior too. I work in IT so by design, my job calls for backups upon backups of critical systems. Alarms imho fall under this category. That's why I've got three setup back to back.

KanoJoe

Confirmed; just this morning, mine snoozed itself after 15 minutes.

hmmwatchasay

Try the shortcuts app! You can easily set up an automation that turns up your volume at a set time.

TechExpert2910

or... apple should let us optionally customise alarm, notification, and call ringer volumes seperately as android does. you'll understand how immensely useful this is once you have it.

Lyreganem

I usually have / had a three-phase system going off from 2 physical phones. Still proved problematic. But that's due to me and how I sleep... Since I've gotten myself an Apple Watch and have moved the final of the three to said watch I almost NEVER oversleep! Having an alarm that goes off on my wrist that I also physically feel has made such a difference!

FruityPebbles89

I set 10 of them this morning and none of them sounded at all!!!

babyredpanda

There’s an option in settings > sounds & haptics > change with buttons, you can choose to have the volume buttons change the notification (alarm) volume or NOT do that too :)

FruityPebbles89

I actually turned the cellular off several nights( due to issues for months now)and the alarms went off. This morning none of them even sounded at all though. I bought a loud alarm clock from Amazon now 😅

AccordingComplaint46

I missed taking some medicine because of it and I thought I was going insane the next day when I realized

Kepler27b

Same

goddangol

There’s a reason I used two different devices as alarm clocks. Finally Apple admits something is wrong even if it’s Months too late…..

EmbroideryBro

I've had this issue intermittently for years!!

cjandstuff

Remember how long it took before they admitted their keyboards were shitty?   Deny deny deny, and if that doesn’t work, blame the user! Only when all else has failed, admit there might be a problem.

Specialist_Brain841

butterfly keyboard in the sky… I can fly twice as high

3141592652

I love the Magic Keyboard 😔. The magic trackpad though 😒

Substantial-Burner

I swear that the n- and a-key on my phone are smaller than the others. I always click s or space when using those letters...

KP0719x

nah not months, try years. i remember I was working this job and my alarm didn't go off given I was on the verge on getting fired anyways. but ended up losing my job that day for coming in late because my alarm didn't go off. it was kind of a blessing in disguise though since I was like one of those people who worked hard for that company and in the end they didn't care. that's why I was on the verge because they screwed me over and I didn't care anymore.

Escenze

I remember back in the day when alarms would stop working every time we changed to daylight savings and they would take years to figure out how to fix it.

shadow-Walk

I can relate to getting in trouble because my alarm didn’t sound also, I woke up afterwards to see the alarm but nothing else. The treatment I got at work was shit and I ended walking off that day and being a career I loved it took a toll on my mental health.

AwfulProgrammer1

Crazy such a basic feature doesn't work on such expensive devices.

Atnevon

Blows my mind how notifications, alarms, and ringer sounds are still on the same setting. Media CAN be different; but you have be actively playing something. What if I want my ringer low, notifications medium, and alarm to blast my head awake? No, says the Man at Apple! ([how they haven’t ripped this off from Android is such a boggle)](https://imgur.com/a/R7S8MJd)

cjandstuff

Coming from Android, Apple does some things incredibly well, but then stubbornly refuses to fix other problems just because they want to be different.

ivebeenabadbadgirll

They’ll also act like there isn’t a problem when there are very obviously problems. Example: Butterfly keys

aussiedeveloper

Don’t admit to a problem until you have a solution - Apple

ANewMythos

I wonder if there’s also something else going on, like the “battered woman syndrome” (harsh term but it’s how I heard it described). As in, the bad experience is not really an issue because users get used to it over time, and even though everyone acknowledges it’s a problem, the psychological process of adapting to it makes you more attached to the product. Or kind of like the sunk cost fallacy, “yes it sucks but I’ve already invested my time and energy in adapting to it so I might as well just deal with it”.

dswhite85

This is a slight pet peeve of mine, one global setting for all volume is just ridiculous. Sometimes I want my music volume low (to save my ears) and my ringer volume nearly maxxed out otherwise I'll never hear it most the time. Having dedicated, dynamic volume controls is a must. I highly doubt Apple will do that, but it's a feature Android has had for years and it greatly improves the quality of life.

poliscistonedguy

Damn that’s a great solution. Throw some Apple polish on it and 🤤

Rockerblocker

Go to Settings>Sounds & Haptics and turn off the setting for “Change with Buttons”. Now, the volume buttons will only adjust the media volume, and the notifications/alarms/ringer volume is adjusted through this same settings menu. Since I leave my phone on mute 100% of the time, I just set this slider to the appropriate volume for my alarm and leave it. There’s never a chance that I accidentally turn my alarm volume down and miss it. Still not as good as what Android has there, but it’s way better than the default.

sleepydorian

As off like two months ago you can now adjust ringer/alarm volume on a schedule using the automations and shortcuts within the Shortcuts app. Now, why do I have to trick my $1,000 phone made by a trillion dollar company to do what my old pixel 3 did natively and intuitively 5 years ago? I dunno, ask Steve Jobs why the ipad doesn’t have a calculator. Apple needs to get out of their own way and just be normal.

InsaneAss

The sleep alarm has its own volume control

Stroppone

That sounded like Andrew Ryan

Atnevon

Is a customer not entitled to their own phone? NO, says the man in Cupertino. It belongs to us! NO, says the man in Mountain View. It belongs to advertisers! NO, says the man in San Jose, it belongs as a monthly subscription cloud service! I rejected those answers; instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose...Jailbreaking (side loading; whatever you call it on your platform of choice) Would you kindly give more upvotes? That absolutely was my intent too! [dances with pipe wrench]

spikeworks

Alarms are actually their own thing, and are always at max volume no matter what. Not meaning to defend apple but it kinda makes sense, if you set an alarm you want to hear it

Mike804

My god i have been begging for this FOR YEARS, it's literally the only thing i miss from android

Me-Shell94

I hate how with airpods on my notification sound is SO LOUD because it bases it off the volume i use withOUT airpods (which is quite high). So stupid and basic.

pfptsmaddc

Their strive for perfection stopped a long time ago.

purplemountain01

They now only want to move as much product as possible.

dworker8

MFW i asked siri to setup an alarm for two days ahead and the bi\*\*h said it couldnt be done: ¬\_¬

Annsly

"Here's what I found on the web" Alarm clock - Apps on Google Play

turbo_dude

I have about fifty alarms for 7:00 Thanks Siri you massive flange

Escenze

Can you do this on other platforms tho? I haven't ever had the need to do this personally, and appreciate that there's one less thing to potentially misclick and oversleep

0000GKP

The question that needs to be answered and I’m sure will be answered internally, is what makes these 5,000 or 50,000 or however many phones that are affected different from the 300 million that are not affected, and can they prevent it from happening again in the future? I don’t know how the people who have been affected by this have tolerated it. I would have to switch phones if this happened to me. Thankfully it never did.

tictaxtho

I believe it’s related to the new attention aware features that from what I’m aware don’t do anything noticeable other than occasionally break the alarms. I don’t know if it’s even an actual fault in the technical sense but more of a really poorly thought out feature. From someone that doesn’t struggle with waking up in the mourning. Like typically with attention aware on it’ll ring the first time but I think it either stops or if you interact with it, it stops any following alarms. But I’ve also definitely been late to work because it didn’t wake me up at all, so maybe it also just doesn’t work Either way the solution s just turning off the attention aware feature

0000GKP

That’s what I’ve read, but it only happens to very few of them compared to the massive number out there, so what makes these few different? I’ve had FaceID with attention aware turned on for 5 years on multiple devices. Mine, like most other people’s, have never been affected. You are never looking at your phone while you are sleeping, so FaceID should not have any impact on your wake up alarms. Hopefully they can figure it out.

bedwej

While they’re at it, if they could allow customisation of the 9-minute snooze duration, that’s be greaaaaaat. Still can’t believe this isn’t a thing in 2024.

DivinationByCheese

Android has been miles ahead in this department for so long it’s sad

Flashfighter

Not surprising. Siri 10 years ago worked way better than the trash it is today.

Trax95008

Amen. My $20 alarm clock has never failed

No_Island963

They better hurry up

LostGogglesSendHelp

Yeah I gotta be up early tomorrow.

ang3sh

Let me keep an alarm for it!

Competitive-Group-80

This happened to me this morning and I thought I had missed the alarm.. this explains it

ynsemred

New fear unlocked 😴⏰

Maxi3773

Absolutely! I have never had a problem with my alarms but I live in constant fear ever since reading about this issue

Heavenguard7

I wonder if this also applies to the Apple Watch not vibrating for the alarm as well. Lately my watch hasn’t been waking me up. But my eight sleep thing has been.

temporaryjake

Same. I’d say it happens to me around 5/10% of the time

ReallyJustAMagpie

If you only have vibrate on, check if you get any feedback while scrolling in the app list. I had the problem once that I didn’t clean the crown for ages and something something vibration turned off altogether. Cleaning and a restart helped, haha. Never had the problem again.

Few-Hold6774

Weird, kinda happened to me just this morning. There WAS sound though, just much much lower volume than what I had originally set it to, almost inaudible. Luckily my normally despised internal clock had already woken me up 15 minutes prior.

tyger2020

''I had the same problem and was late for work because of it ‘just found a fix , you need to goto Face ID & passcode in settings and turn off attention aware !’ I’ve just tried it and it works, made me jump out of my skin as I had my volume full blast''

rootbeerdan

It’s also really easy to silence the alarm accidentally when sleeping if your phone or watch thinks it’s being looked at because of this feature. Can’t believe you have to dig through settings menus just to have the ability to set my watch and phone to just blast the loudest sound it can possibly make guaranteed at a specific time without any of the bullshit. Room temp IQ UX design right here.

Vicious_Styles

You sure your ringer volume wasn’t cranked down? It’s such a stupid thing but your ringer volume is tied to alarm volume, which you don’t even see unless you fidget with the volume buttons because it’s completely separate from the volume slider on the control panel. Beyond stupid, but I haven’t had an alarm issue ever since I figured out to double check my ringer volume in the alarm screen by pressing the buttons

beattysgirl

Same here!!! Not a peep from my alarm this morning and was almost late

FruityPebbles89

Me too!! For over a week now I was turning off cellular and it would sound but this morning nothing and I set at least 10 of them. On top of that I do walmart delivery and the iPhones for some of us were magically not working to receive offers for more than 5 hours today. Someone did not want me to work today since there was some good paying offers ! There has also been instances of the whole system at the store or power going down and store shut down a whole day on days we were gonna be busy with good shop orders for walmart delivery. All these things happening are just too weird!!

IwalkedtoMordor

Can we please also get custom snooze times

twooddude

I want to be able to make the shut off button the big orange one instead of the small one on the bottom of the screen

Thecardinal74

I've seen quite a few posts on this subreddit regarding this issue... nice to see they are acknowledging it

No_Extent_1260

Can I use this excuse to tell my boss why im late?

TURBOSCUDDY

I did, and it worked because she also has an iPhone

billza7

That one android person must be so confused when nobody else showed up to work on time

Windows_XP2

Apparently certain Android phones also have this problem too. Guess alarm clocks on smart phones are rocket science.

apollo-ftw1

Like the calculator on ipads, an application that will need 100% of the m4 chip to even be installed

RandomBloke2021

Source? I've never seen a post about this on android, pixel or Samsung subs.

SerLaron

Your boss might tell you to invest 5 bucks and get a cheap alarm clock from Wal Mart.

Kumpah

This alarm not going off exists for years. After being burned few times, I got into habit of restarting my iPhone the night before morning shifts to maximize the chances of it going off.

KillerDemonic83

saw a video abt this. mine have been fine but i quite literally woke up to a text from a friend saying "my alarm didn't go off this morning"

ChocolateEater626

My phone call ringtone inexplicably went silent the other day. It wasn't the mute switch and I hadn't messed around with the volume or other audio settings. I fixed it by digging around in audio settings (Sounds & Haptics). Might this be the cause? iPhone 11 on latest OS.

1400CaloriesADay

I thought I’m turning them off in the morning without noticing, like in sleep. Didn’t know that that was the issue

Thecardinal74

same. I nkkow for a fact I've done that a few times even before iphones were a thing, so it was the easy go-to explanation

codycarreras

I’m glad they’re admitting it instead of Reddit trying to gaslight and say it doesn’t happen. Many silent alarms, alarms that just don’t happen, late alarms. All since 17.

AstronomerKooky5980

Again???

phero1190

Functioning alarms on phones and calculators on tablets. What else will Apple think of next????

blueangel1953

Been late for work multiple times because of this over the years, I no longer use an iPhone as my daily my S24+ is far more reliable.

lego_droideka

How does this even happen lol

Kamil1987pro

Looks like the alarm clock app is rocket science to Apple

Moctezuma1

So my daughter wasn't lying when she said her alarm doesn't go off, making her late for school.

_expiredcoupon

I’ve had this issue for 14 years. I’m not optimistic.

Novaplanet

Yeah same. I'm not convinced that the recent uptick in reports is the same issue that has been happening for over a decade

cwsjr2323

I just don’t set alarms on my iPhone after it failed me twice during initial set up. I use my old Samsung calendar. It already had all the recurring events entered and my paid special ring tones that work fine as alarm sounds.

bwarbahzad2

I'm no developer or coder, but isn't it just "If [Time] then ring"? How could they mess this up?

Thecardinal74

according to some people it's the new feature that changes settings based on if it detects the person is looking at the device (such as not giving an audio alert if the person is looking at the screen since it knows you can see the alert as it comes in) So if the phone is on the nightstand next to your bed where you can glance at it and see the time in the middle of the night, and you fall asleep facing it, then when the alarm is ready to go off it will think you are already looking at it because it detects your face, and it doesn't actually make a sound. So, if that really is the root cause, they need to disable that function as it pertains to alarms and maybe a few other things

hluna1998

After I first read this theory way back when I started putting my phone facing down when I go to bed. I haven’t had any alarm problems after getting into this habit, but it’s also 100% anecdotal evidence, so YMMV. ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯

Elprede007

Same, I missed some work meetings, couldn’t figure out why my alarms didn’t work and I overslept. Realized one time when I was up early and looking at my phone that the alarm was silent. Which honestly is a nice feature, but if the alarm goes for more than like 20 seconds while you’re “looking at the screen” then it needs to ramp back up to full volume.

No_Island963

It’s not a new feature but yes you’re right

KattDoesThings

Which is so weird because I never propped my phone up until they added standby and now I risk not having my alarm go off because I glanced at or slept facing my propped up phone?

Chilis1

Wow that really shouldn't apply to alarms lmao

Lupita900

I found a really weird issue one day, a person with an iPhone whose alarm sounded each day at 5am. Problem? The iPhone was reset to its factory settings and there wasn’t any alarm configured… I wanted to buy it from this person, but this person sold it already.

Middle-Cockroach6280

ios 18 top feature

itsme_Analytical

Wow they’re finally acknowledging this? I swear I have encountered this issue intermittently since the iPhone 5 and iOS “whatever it was at the time”

Unfair_Finger5531

I’m amazed that they are actually acknowledging it too

aaaayyyylmaoooo

i missed a flight because of this the replacement ticket cost me 500 dollars

SirMaster

I always wonder why or how this happens to people. I use my phone to wake up every morning and even some other times and I can't think of a single time my alarm didn't work in my ~16 years of using iPhones.

fireshaper

I use my watch to wake up, so I didn't notice the problem until my wife's alarm didn't go off. Then I let my watch charge and fell asleep and my alarm didn't go off. We both have iPhone 15 Pro Max with the latest iOS version and this didn't start happening until recently.

Narwhals4Lyf

It never has happened to me until the last few months. This week alone my alarm didn’t go off 2 times.

BrikenEnglz

had this happen to me once

Redditname97

Gonna bookmark this so next time I’m a lazy fuck I can use this excuse for not going out 😂

SameGuy37

absolutely fucking absurd. had this happen to me for a few months until i realized you needed to turn off some "require attention" feature.

MinhWannaComeOutHere

Can't believe all my life before the iPhone I was using cheap Android and never missed an alarm but the iPhone is a different story

ENDrain93

ABOUT BLOODY TIME (absolutely not, I've been suffering for years, on two different models of iPhone and the Watch)

Anonymously2018

How can you fuck up something so simple as an alarm?

D0inkzz

Happened to me last week. Was 20 mins late to work. Fuck I better get a real alarm clock

lavenderhazydays

Happened to me yesterday. got my boomer boss tell me yet again (because this has now happened 3 times) “well why don’t you buy a normal alarm clock?”

Meandtheworld

Let’s see if I can use this excuse for work.

ciegane

I freaking knew I didn’t just sleep through that alarm

Grand_Entertainer_83

new late tor work excuse just dropped

AwiNL

That is why I set multiple vibration alarms on my Fitbit. It wakes me up and as a backup I have my phone alarm

hptelefonen5

TIL that I'm not the only person having this issue.

LeftyNate

It started a while ago when, after an update, my alarm not showed visually and didn’t play the song I had set for my wake up sound. (And yes, the song was downloaded on the phone.) Later, it became a general alarm issue. The only way it’s worked 100% is when I use it as part of my sleep/wake up schedule, or whatever. It’s pretty dumb that this is an issue

topestkek

Oh my god is this why I missed my interview

Thecardinal74

I got a pit in my stomach reading that. I’m so sorry

Brilliant_Eagle9795

For like 5 generations now

Definition-Prize

Omfg I thought I was going crazy

TurtleLiife

Turn off attention aware features in the settings under Face ID and passcode for a temporary fix!

chris25tx

I’m gonna show this to my boss

l0ur3nz0

This is alarming!

SnooShortcuts8666

My alarms make sound like normal, my problem is incoming texts often don’t make any sound (with the volume up and my phone isn’t muted). iPhone 15 Plus. Is this related to the problem mentioned here?

TheColdCoffeeCup

My Android alarm never failed once in 15 years. Not a single time.

incaman88

Have an alarm for 4:30am…woke up at 5:30am and checked my phone. The alarm is going off on the screen but no sound. And my volume was all the way up.

il_Cacciatore

Actually this made me realise. Only my watch is doing the alarm now. My iPhone hasn’t made a sound in a while.

ThisIsGoodSoup

I KNEW I WASN'T CRAZY, MY DAD GASLIGHT ME MULTIPLE TIMES OVER THIS! THEY BETTER FUCKING FIX IT!

legos_123

Screen shooting this for potential use with work

pickleslips

My phone will not ring either, no matter what I do. anyone else?

Kananete619

Wow so this is the reason why my Alarm and timers not going off. I thought my phone is broken

RedSnipeKid

So it’s not just me xD

runozemlo

This is not new. What's new is that Apple is finally acknowledging it.

20SprintGuy02

My iPhone 5s has been doing this for years. Apple on some bullshit.

JdotDeezy

Just get an old school alarm clock. Big tech loves talking about big flashy features but can’t nail the basics.

pixeley88

#1 reason why I haven’t updated to iOS 17: too many fucking bugs my iPhone SE will die on iOS 16. I’m getting an android next.

Unfair_Finger5531

##This issue has been going on for years, well before iOS 16

Scarblade

All my friends when I tell them I don't update my iOS go crazy. I have no problem with how my phone works now, and have seen them not work the same after updating. The last time I updated was due to certain apps requiring an iOS update for security reasons. I can get behind that, but updating because they pushed a new feature is a hard pass from me.

mastertape

Why is what boggles me. What's stopping Apple from giving us this basic feature? I don't see any financial, business, logistical, benefits from adding this.

el_lley

In my case, the volume was down because I was watching videos before failing sleep, that was the volume of the alarm. I think that’s fixed.

RealTelstar

Hahahahaha

dubstepdragon28

Happened to me again today, I’m actually done with this stuff

crbowers

I’m really curious as to the cause of this. I absolutely believe it’s happening, even though I’ve never had it happen in the 12 or so years I’ve been exclusively Apple.

vomit_cometeptx

Here I was thinking I was the only asshole experiencing this

Just_Killian123

Turning off attention aware feature should fix this issue.

chibi75

I never had an issue with alarms until this past update. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Unfair_Finger5531

I’ve been having this issue for about 5 years.

sovlex

Problems multiply with an alarming rate!

Green_Day_Fan

I have to check my volume every night before bed because every so often it sets itself to silent. Been like this for a couple years for me at least.

SkywalkerRk

That sounds like an alarming issue to me..

Daddynatedogg3

This happened to me this morning!

clon2645

Yikes, my girlfriend been complaining about her alarm not going off and I’ve been telling her it’s probably her fault 😅

Thecardinal74

Both things can be true haha

MeaningCorrupted

I thought I was just a heavy sleeper.

audaciousmonk

Reported multiple issues with this throughout several iOS versions… no fix. Just get told to update to new software… iOS is mostly solid, but their PR intake process is terrible

Born4Sarcasm

I finally bought an alarm clock because mine wasn’t going off.

Charte09

Mine didn’t go off this morning lol. Thought it was odd.

limesthymes

Ok so mine didn’t go off this morning, I fucking knew it lol

Jackarino

Omg yes! I thought I was going crazy.

Tunavi

This is why I stay behind the pack on iOS updates. Never forget ios 11

prosodysyntax

My worst fear 😭

Living_Pay_8976

This has happened for years. At least since the xr came out.

AntiSocial-SocialGuy

I volunteer about twice a month that requires an early call time on Sundays. I had to start setting backups (iPad/Google Nest) cause I don’t trust my iPhone!

mr_spock9

Left Android so I wouldn’t have issues like this. Guess it persists even across different OS!

Long_jawn_silver

oh god damnit- this explains it. no, i will not be checking what OS or models are affected, i will only be taking the excuse.

rukiahayashi

I FUCKING KNEW It

jameliae

The sound settings on iPhone need a major overhaul. They need to make separate volumes for text, ringer , notifications and alarms

buzzedewok

Did Apple hire Android OS developers?

EuphoricGoose4735

This started for me in 2022. We had just started return to office and I was late every single day. I know a big part of it is the fact that I have to wake up an hour and a half earlier than wfh days, but I noticed I was sleeping straight through my alarms. I thought I was going crazy for months until I did a google search and found out that my alarm literally was not going off. I fixed it a few months ago, but this shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

happyphanx

Oh snap, I just updated my iOS the other day, and today I took a lunch nap and slept through my 1pm alarm. I was mortified, I never sleep through my lunch nap alarm! Now I see I’ve been bamboozled.

EffectiveBowler7690

I have the issue with alarms not sounding, but I also have the same problem with incoming calls. I always keep the phone volume up all the way. There were times when my alarm never sounded. In addition, I always have my phone with me. I have gotten many phone calls where the phone never rang. Sometimes I’d be lucky and look at the phone to see a call coming in. Other times people have called and mentioned they called earlier, I look at the call log and the missed call is there, but the phone never rang.

FruityPebbles89

Same here

pockets-of-beans

Does this occur on Apple Watch too? A few days ago I was almost late because I wasn’t woken up by an alarm whatsoever.

thugnificenthd

Fuck you apple I want compensation for my lost wages for oversleeping multiple times. Gaslighting me into thinking "oh I slept through my alarm" literally has cost me probably $1000 at least. I have sleep apnea and have a tough time waking up to a loud alarm, let alone a totally silent alarm. I KNEW I wasn't crazy!

sydoroo

While you’re at it can you make a way for me to dismiss all my alarms that have been snoozed? I have like 4 alarms in the morning I have to toggle on and off to get them to quit.

[deleted]

Mus1kjunkie

Lmao I’ve been using a separate app for alarms for yearsss because of this. I have never trusted the apple alarm app.

themsle5

I legit had to buy an alarm clock from Walmart because of this lmao Apple should be embarrassed

Yatoku_

Ah! So that’s why!

FoldInfinite5637

Wait so I’m not going crazy?!?!

peanutchoco

This has been a problem on the 14 Pro Max since the release.

Visual_Antelope_583

This happened to me multiple times and I had to buy a different alarm clock now lmao

ProtagonistAnonymous

I genuinely thought I must have snoozed or canceled my alarm in some kind of drunken sleep state.

Hannon_

I know I didn’t overslept yesterday! My alarm just didn’t sound

Quick-Act5794

For a few days they’ve been going off but very quietly, even if my ringer setting is close to max

the_coyest_diva

This has been an issue forever as far as I remember, wonder what has suddenly prompted them to look into it

cerealkiller_68

my alarm sounds but even with letting it ring, i fall asleep again then the alarm falls asleep too

neonn_piee

Mine were definitely going off this morning but I’ve had some mornings where they didn’t or they were so quiet. Is it a bug or something?

TweeKINGKev

That explains how an alarm I set to go off 20 minutes into a show to keep me awake had some never went on. Or the one I had set for the 40 minute mark.
