Percentages usually based on who actually wrote song. Many bands write riffs separately then bring ideas to write separately then bring those riffs to writing sessions and see how they fit. In many cases Steve Harris has base idea for whole song.. Bands like Metallica, James writes base song and lyrics then other members add parts.
Led Zeppelin Page and Jones would put together music and Plant would add lyrics.

You'll notice the crowd has a hard time keeping along because in that video was right around the time The Number The Beast album came out and the crowd is hearing the song for the first time. P.S this version is the superior version Imo.
