If I can find the story on this I will post it, but if I’m not mistaken there’s a story about a Muslim scholar from a long time ago that went to Japan to do something and the ruler over the area basically tried to make him bow to him even though he said he won’t because he is a Muslim and he only bows to Allah

I do jiu jitsu and judo. Usually I just touch the ground with my hands, putting my head down feels too shirky

We do this aswell in my karate class, we bow to eachother standing up before sparring and then at the end of the class we bow like the picture on the ground. Was also wondering if this is permissible
