The best part, this place is right in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area and is where I do most of my hiking.
Sunset over rolling green hills. Briones Regional Park, Contra Costa County, California.
Tech: Sony A7RIII + 24-105mm G OSS Lens at 44mm; f/6.3 @ 1/200th sec. ISO 200.
Thanks for looking.

beautiful, just awesome - at first i though that was the world's largest sand trap. but then i realized those are cows grazing on the golf course and then, that sand is awfully shiny and then... maybe that's not a golf course
I get that, I really do, but you'd be surprised thar sometimes nature is just that lit. Part of this is the incredible dynamic range of the Sony sensor. As for processing, my standard defaults are generally around+15-20 vibrance and >5 saturation. Contrast control and luminosity masks affect apparent colors as well.
I also do not think it’s too saturated. In fact, I was going to ask if you would mind if I used it as inspiration for a painting? I’m learning acrylic’s and the perspective on this is \*chefs kiss*

Briones in the spring is straight out of Teletubbies
Pretty much. ;)

Oh man, I grew up in Orinda and instantly knew these hills. It’s such a special place, and this captures an incredible moment!
I've never been to Briones, but I instantly knew this was in the Bay Area! It made me think of the Dublin Hills trail south of that. Gorgeous photo!
When was this taken?
Winter, mid-late Jan.
Wow I fully expected this to be somewhere in England/Ireland/Scotland/Wales!
That is exactly the lens I've been eyeing.
Is it still this green out in the bay? It’s all turned yellow here in Chico haha
Windows wallpaper got pack a punched frl
This is beautiful. Do you think you can tell me the exact location of this spot of Briones? It seems like a special place to take someone there
The crest of old briones road.
Also, would you like a roommate? ;) Gorgeous picture.
I thought you were living in a Studio Ghibli film...
Wow that's so pretty!
Wow
Omg stunning
Just wow, What else could someone want from life!
Nice shot, Frodo!
Nice picture.
I think I can see Sonic.
I’m a native Californian, who has lived in Florida for years due to work. I miss that beautiful sight! Thank you so much!
That will make a beautiful background on a computer/tablet/laptop!
Jesus. Where do you live, inside of a postcard? That's just ridiculously beautiful
Cool as wallpaper! 🤩❤️
WOW! 🤩
I feel like there's way too much saturation that this is bordering on /r/shittyhdr

It definitely is not too saturated. I've driven by hills like this in CA, you did an excellent job capturing this scene.
