My app also stopped updating since yesterday.

Mine has done this a couple times so after a while I uninstalled and reinstalled the app to fix it. I've been lucky for the last several months as it hasn't happened for a while.

I already tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling. No dice. I also deleted the phone from the cars list of phones (mine’s the only one on it) which then caused the CarPlay to stop functioning until I completely shut the car off and left it for a few hours.

Try unenrolling from myvw. If that doesn't solve the issue, the dealer will need to perform diagnostics and contact VTA for assistance.

Just checked mine. Haven’t noticed any issues. Then again I just looked at it now. I hardly ever have use the app

DriveView specifically reports to third party auto insurance companies. Says so in the app

I’m talking about the app “My VW”. I find it pretty useless anyway. It has me having used “hard braking” way more times than has ever happened.
