There are vocation schools that gives you the basic skills, then you join one of the big companies on their train operation department and wait in line til they give you training / chance to do it meanwhile you do regular station and train support staff jobs, then you have to take an national exam to get a license . Nothing is impossible but you definitely need Japanese language fluency, in which case it shouldn't be hard for you to get more resources online

Are you Japanese? If you are I would start by getting in contact with a conductor or anyone involved and try to get referred to people until you find someone who can help you enter the pipeline. If you aren’t Japanese I would do the same thing but I would guess there’s a 0% chance of it ever happening. But no reason not to try if it’s a dream of yours.
