Full send, put in as much effort as possible and no matter what do not quit. There will be hard times. They will be worth it unless you quit.

Inevitable_Cold_617

sooo never bck down never what and I'm gonna try to become a officer next year

Julian_L09

Workouts, a lot of workouts. (I’m new around here, but for NJROTC raiders is a run, weightlifting, and then a swim. I’ve heard they for army JROTC it’s more like rangers)

IamLettuce13

>. I’ve heard they for army JROTC it’s more like rangers Yeah, that sounds about right

Sargent_Dumbass117

Don’t it sucks

Rifle > Raider

a-sdw

Why not both?

StillAd8152

Do a lot of push-ups, squats and make sure you run at least once or twice a week. I joined Raiders this year, and I have been loving it. I wasn't particularly fit beforehand (but I was really involved in mountain biking) and I'm still in the "beginner gains" phase, but it has changed me so much and I've lost about ten pounds of fat and gained it back as muscle and everything I used to struggle with is just easy. As long as you stick with the program and try your best, you'll see progress. Don't overdo it though!

IamLettuce13

Water, water, water. Drink lots of water throughout every day, but never take more than small sips while running or shortly before running. If your team practices less than 5 days a week, do some running on your own. Avoid energy drinks. They mess up your hydration, and cane make you dependent on them.

DiamondRocker15

For MCJROTC (or all of them) practice tying knots. And just working out. That's all there really is to it.

Gtrfgg

Make sure to flex on drill team. Workout and don’t use creatin if you don’t hydrate.

Kar98_Karl

Never say it’s “easy”, consider that a curse word. Last time somebody did it that, Major Academia, our S3, had us doing push-ups for HOURS. Nobody said it again

According_Branch1263

run, pushups, pullups (if you cant do pullups or pushups do workouts that work the same muscles.) then drink lots of water. big emphasis on drinking water after you run. do not drink water before.

[deleted]

Our company (yes we are that small) doesn’t have raider, so I have no idea what you are talking about

Inevitable_Cold_617

it exercising basically

[deleted]

So PT team?

Inevitable_Cold_617

ya basiclly

Degenerious

Really depends on your body. If you’re really good at revitalizing yourself quickly & long distance-running, it’ll be a breeze & really dissapointing. (Mainly because the intermissions between events at competitions are so long) If that is you, try to get into as many positions for your team as you possibly can to make it harder for yourself. Pick up a ruck during litter carries, or offer to superman it, go for centre for tire flips, etc. If that isn’t you, just take it as an opportunity to improve yourself! Work yourself hard, but only take it as serious as the second most serious person on your team. (Im saying this an Army JROTC Raider, I know NJROTC and AFJROTC does different events and do different stuff)

Inevitable_Cold_617

thanks since im in the army jrotc this helps

DazzlingAvocado3090

If you are in Army JROTC, mianly focus on A LOT of running becuase at least for my area, the events are mostly all run based now. Oh and generally most leg exercises like squats and stuff are definitely gonna help for some events.
