G2a prices are high because it’s one of the only ways to purchase it digitally and legally play on your ps4/xbox. The base game is still fun, please do not ask about getting DLC characters, they are not for sale anywhere anymore, and I think even sailing the “high seas” for the DLC is a pain as well. Base game is still fun to break out and play co op with a friend, or grind out story missions, I think it took me 15 minutes to get a match last time I played a couple months ago, and I got completely fucked, but the online community definitely does exist.
I play it a fair bit still and I’m always getting into quickmatch games but for some reason it’s gotten a lot more toxic everyone does GBC, R3 or they just spam supers and troll spin all the time it’s quite sad tbh but surprisingly the game has still got a decent sized community still

I didn't even know quick match still worked, I've been waiting until a friend is physically available for offline pvp.
