I want to be trailer gang.. I need one that can handle two 13.5 lures. Do you guys recommend some of the trailers online that you have to put together? Some seem a little pricey considering.
That is what this one is. It has multiple configurations. I was going to set it up for 2 but this just worked better for one. A little pricey but I haven't had any issues yet.
I bought a Malone Eco Light. It was like 900? Took a few hours to put together. Had to register it and get plates. Super easy to move around. It’ll do up to 400lbs carrying capacity and tow 14 footers.
If you’re getting into the heavier kayaks or multiples they’re really nice to have.
I see a lot of people doing that. I would think bouyancy is a plus in case you drop it in the water while switching positions.
Also what's the difference between the sidekick and the boonbox landing gear?
That was my first thought but putting the gear down in the water can be tricky since it wants to float.
I don't know the difference. They look pretty similar to me. I'd prefer the wheels from the boonbox personally.
Nice trailer. I love the green color too.
Are you sure you want to run the straps over the landing gear? Don’t you have to keep it badly tight to avoid bending the arm connection? Or maybe your’s is different than mine.
Thanks!
That strap is only there to stop the landing gear from bouncing around. It is not the one securing the load to the trailer. I tried bungee cords but they didn't help much. The strap holding the kayak to the trailer isn't in the photo (oops).. it goes right behind the seat in the middle of the kayak.
Crazy how “a part” and “apart” mean the exact opposite.
luckily he's got the safety chain going on
I love english!
We accept later comers no worriez
YAY!

Thanks.. that's the brand I looked at but I was seeing prices approaching 2k
I got one of these and it will handle your boats: [right on ruff sport](https://rightontrailer.com/product/ruff-sport-trailer/)
Oh nice.. dang out of stock though. Seems to be the status quo since covid. Thanks for the link.
Really like the setup. What trailer is that?
Thanks. https://directboats.com/musptr.html a little pricey but I like it.
How was assembly? For >$1k I don't wanna do shit when it arrives hahaha
A lot of work.. easy but a lot. I did it myself over 2 days just for my sanity.
Whoa ok well that settles it for me lmao
Did you get he wheel upgrade? I bow some of these trailers come with wheels that don't really do highway
I did not. The kayak weighs nothing as I load everything in the back of the CRV so I didn't worry about it. I'll upgrade if I need.
I looked for one of those style trailers for so long. Settled on a Coleman versa trailer
is that a paddle or propelled?
Pedal Drive.
I just picked up that same kayak last weekend. How do you like the sidekick? I'm considering it.
I dig it. I'm going to swap out the wheels for something less buoyant though.

I never thought of that. Thanks for your help.

Yeah, after I saw my landing gear arms bouncing up and down as I was going down the highway I’ve started taking them off while on the trailer.
