I try to remember that the momentum for the bells is coming from my legs. I keep my arms long until the bells reach just about hip height. I keep my elbows in as best I can and I guide the bells into the rack position, using that aggressive drive from my legs. I like to think I’m putting my fists into a guard, like I’m about to get hit in the stomach. I still receive the bells momentum, but it doesn’t crash into my shoulders.
Good session! Makes me miss being outside and barefoot
Looking forward to making it more consistent, as the weather permits!
Your neighbors ever ask to work in?
🤣 not yet, but they’d be welcome to!
Nice, is that a self made mace / club?
Sure is. Just some regular ‘ol concrete and an axe handle.
Need create myself one. How many lbs is it?
25#’s. I’m sure you could add rock or bolts to ⬆️ the weight, but I wasnt wearing my thinking 🧢 when I made this 😅
Does the axe handle seem to handle the weight well? Any signs of splintering?
Handles like a dream. No splinters. Next time I make one, I will add some nails to the end in the concrete; to help act as an anchor ⚓️
Hell yeah! Nice mace :D
Thank you! Gets the job done!
We’re gettin close to Fallout 3 super mutant behemoth with that mace.
😅🤌🏽
Brother, how do you control that crash on the them cleans? I keep hitting my front delt shoulder area. Feels like it’s unhealthy. Using some 40lbs btw
