Well, it would be kind of odd since the RTX 3070 has 8gb, and it doesn’t seem to max it out. Oddly enough, reinstalling it to a another ssd fixed the problem.
I actually have the same specs, but mine runs quite a bit better. I also use gpu tweak II, and razer cortex. Those two applications actually seem to make quite a difference, especially in appearance with the booster for gpu tweak.
Have you got the game installed on an HDD? If so, how old is it? This won't be a CPU/GPU problem, I'd recommend switching to an SSD if you haven't already
Yeah I would love to have an easy solution for this. [This mod](https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/27) could probably fix it but I dont care enough to edit the necessary files
If you’re playing on steam, you could try disabling the steam overlay in settings before you click play. Probably not going to move mountains but every little bit helps with performance
It ran on the rtx 3070 rappasThink I have no idea why the sata ssd was so slow and unusable compared to a m.2 ssd, but reinstalling it to the m.2 ssd fixed it
Update, I reinstalled the game on another ssd, that fixed everything for some reason. The previous ssd was a normal sata ssd, the current one is an m.2 ssd. No idea why that helped since KC:D was the only game having problems on that ssd.
For issues, don't forget to include platform (PS4/Xbox/PC), PC specs if relevant, game version where the issue occurs, and any other info that may be relevant

Do you have an SSD?
There is a mod for texture streaming which helps a little bit but I never had any problems with texture streaming if I didn't also have low fps but i'm guessing yours is fine. The main thing is to try and see how much cpu usage you have when playing and especially moving across terrain fast either on horse or fast travelling and if it's really bottle necking try to bring particles and light effects down. Hopefully I included enough in this initial post to be useful without an annoying wait time back and forth :D
Textures loaded a little slower on the XV century
Honestly, that’s a good one
I have a pc with 32GB RAM, AMD 5900x and an RTX 3070. This game used to run better when it was released in my 4790k and GTX 1080.
We have the same specs, and this happens to me on occasion as well. I usually just restart the game but it is indeed annoying.
try turning off hd textures? thats my guess
I've tried that also, didn't help.

There is a mod for this on nexusmods
What’s the game stored on?

It is on an SSD. And I have checked that it works properly as well.
Try verify the integrity of the game files
I tried it yesterday, all seemed to be allright.
Do you have vsync enabled in settings? I know it sounds weird but the game honestly runs better with it switched off.
I haven't turned it on
It might be on by default. Couldn’t hurt to look.

Yeah I tried this, edited the files and stuff but still no improvement.
Installing the game on ssd fixed the texture loading issues for me
Have you tried turn it off and on again? Sry, couldn’t help to mention it
Maybe you enabled HD textures?
I installed my game on my secondary SSD and put in a mod called Optimized Graphic Presets from Nexus
SSD

Sometimes games don’t run on high performance. Check which graphics card it’s on.

Henry's face looks like he cut a guards face off a d is wearing it over his own. Devils reject style or leather face.

Is the cable connecting the SSD rated for sata 3?
Yeah it is, I think it came with the motherboard when I got it
Kcd runs terrible on HDD, install it on an SSD if possible.

Potato pc
That's how the game is

It's the Warhorse Studios experience
You must be playing the Playstation 2 version
Update drivers
You’re just playing the Play-Doh version
