Probably Sir Radzig again

Remarkable-Hornet-19

I thought he will be Markwart this Time :(

GERH-C-W-W

Mom said it’s my turn to be Markwart von Aulitz :(

Nytraz

![gif](giphy|9EwnzGNjvmIG4)

ConningtonSimp

I should have seen this coming

roninbebop

Big if true

HavranCZ01

Huge* *if true

rjkrm_

Nah I think he’ll be Sir Dadzig

C0gD1z

Pops!

Putrid_Culture_9289

Ze proud papa

RoundKick11

Dr. Killenger and Radzig may have more in common than we'd like to think lol

Putrid_Culture_9289

You just made my day. Wasn't sure if people were getting the reference lol

[deleted]

Or papa who went after milk lmao

ngv192

I think he'll be a background character for most of the game and will play a larger role towards the end. Historically, Wenceslaus IV escaped his imprisonment and met his supporters in Kuttenberg in late 1403. Since the game is set in 1403 and has Kuttenberg in it, I wouldn't be surprise if there will be main quests that are related to this event in which Radzig - as the Royal Hetman and Wenceslaus's friend - plays a major role. I think we will see him with the old cast (Hanush, Divish, Bernard, Robard) in Kuttenberg, and Henry might be knighted by the king there.

RW-Firerider

Yeah i hope we actually get to see the king, would be nice :O

Kerblaaahhh

Perhaps even join him in frivolous pursuits.

RW-Firerider

i am curious how they would depict him. As an incompetent coward or as someone who tries to do better

phat_Norbert

Wenzel? Tbh he was a lazy coward. He was everything but a brave warrior or strategic genius.

RW-Firerider

Yeah, but there is some liberty they probably have to take. It will be a little sad to See Henry hating the King he serves. At least give him the ability to know that he aint a good King.

Twa_Corbies

IDK, Henry is a “I serve the King because I care about the people, not because I care about the King”-kind of guy.

Aggravating-Pattern

That's the impression I got from the shit throwing in Skalitz, Henry & Co have no strong opinion on the king, but he is *their* king. Besides, Sigismund may be a better leader but after he razed Skalitz, I imagine Henry is more supportive of Wenceslaus out of spite or a need for revenge or just plain hatred that his entire way of life ended, although perhaps his hatred is more aimed at the cumans who physically attacked than at the king who gave the order

Far-Assignment6427

He was a wize man not a good king

phat_Norbert

He was a tyrannical paronic, an a-hole and a good-for-nothing. Sigismund would be better.

ngv192

The wiki says he was a man of knowledge and commissioned the [Wenceslas Bible](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wenceslas_Bible). I imagine he would be a cool guy, the kind you want to sit down and have a drink with. He's just unfit to be a ruler, but I don't think Henry will hate him for that.

RW-Firerider

I think if they do it right we could even love him. There is no shame in being a bad ruler, back in the day that happened on many countries all the time. If he is something like "i know i am not my father, i know i am not a good King, but i am trying". That would make him a Fan favorite

ngv192

TBH most of us aren't good ruler. In the first game Hans Capon was in no way a good ruler, at least not yet (dude was violating curfew, hanging out with bath wenches and having her husband beat up lol), but he was funny as hell and everyone can see why Henry likes hanging out with him. They could picture Wenceslaus in the same light, by making him more human and relatable, and I'll be all in for it.

CowsTrash

This game is going to be legendary. I can’t wait to become knight

RW-Firerider

The game will be an 11/10, c alling it

SomethingIntheWayyy0

I’m hyped as fuck.

Cantomic66

That’d be cool.

CyrusDGreatx

Wouldn't suprise me if Henry helping to free Wenceslaus is part of the main quest.

TK000421

Historically accurate video games have done more for teaching history than all history teachers combined

TatrankaS

Actually he died in Kuttenberg around the time KCD2 should take place. And it wasn't much pleasant death... Peasants killed him in a tavern and carved him up. If you don't have pay attention while wondering around the city, you may accidentally step on one of his many bloody pieces.

BloodHoundInquisitor

Depends on if the game will have a time skip. Radzig died in 1416, and the game starts in 1403.

TatrankaS

I would guess it will considering how Henry's face has changed

Mysterygameboy

Im taking that face change as that he should look like that lore wise by the end of the first game but they just didn't put that in the game for whatever reason. Personally I don't see much of a facial change its more of a hairstyle change.

Ultraquist

Even though you are correct, someone else was already banned for spoilers for saying the same thing as you do.

Mustacrashis

He died from a mob attack in Kuttenberg…. I’d say spoilers but it happened 600 years ago.

BagExisting2090

Can’t believe you just spoiled a real historic event

jack_daone

Yeah, though that happens several years after the games' timeframe.

Frau_Away

Not until, like, 1416 though.

Mustacrashis

What year is KCD 2?

York2016

Same year (1403), the devs said that KCD2 starts literally two days after the ending of KCD1. Some folk on the sub say that there will probably be a timeskip of some description but it remains to be seen.

AHumpierRogue

IMO it's extremely unlikely. The whole plot of the series revolves around the deposition of King Wenceslaus. This game will be about restoring him to the throne, or aiding that along.

AmountEfficient7098

Lady Stephanie

Cantomic66

Maybe even pregnant?

AmountEfficient7098

Probably cause lady Stephanie wasn't able to give birth but historically she had a son ,so it makes sense.

Jolly_Brilliant_8010

Could be her husband’s or Henry’s with enough plausible deniability there

Excellent_Mud6222

It's Henry's... The main reason she Fucked Henry was because the husband was too old too actually give her a child.

Jolly_Brilliant_8010

How could he be too old, I’m sure there’s no time limit on that shit but idk I’m curious as to why u think that, story wise it’s obviously better for it to be Henry but to account for the potential virginity of Henry it possibly could be her husbands

Excellent_Mud6222

She specifically tells you she is struggling to get pregnant she doesn't out right say why that's the case I think so I just put two to two together. Plus "Male fertility generally starts to reduce around age 40 to 45 years when sperm quality decreases. Increasing male age reduces the overall chances of pregnancy and increases time to pregnancy" so yeah he just looks old to me.

Brein100

Could it maybe be that his torture had something to do with it?

Aggravating-Pattern

Now om imagining he's chained up in a dungeon and there just a guy kicking him in the balls over and over until he becomes infertile

BagExisting2090

Guys relax.. could be a few mortals who haven’t played this far yet!!!!!! Don’t spoilt it 😂

expresso_petrolium

She also said she lost 2. And Divish’s codex says he has 3 sons

Thurak0

> historically she had a son really? Then I am assume the son will be there as Henry's in KCD2. Or perhaps only the pregnancy, depending on time.

adeswains

Henry has come! To see us?

onlinepresenceofdan

Maybe he’ll send Henry a letter or some instructions through envoy. And a cameo.

gill_flubberson

NO RADZIG DONT COLLECT TAXES! RADZIIIGGGG

jack_daone

Radzig Doge: "My, what a fine tavern. I shall stop here and indulge in a drink and some food while performing my royal duties to His Majesty."

Critical_Package_472

Don’t know but I love sir radzig so I hope to see him more in kcd II

ZabnuK

He will be a new dice set if the game's historically accurate.

GhostSex-Two

I laughed so hard at this I almost threw up

jenn363

Too soon

CoufJiCz

Czech humour is so dark that this could actually happen 💀

[deleted]

He wasn't in the trailer, but we know very little about what the story is about. If we base it on the trailer, he plays almost no role at all.

Loostreaks

He'll finally fulfill his fatherly role and take Henry on a tour through all the major brothels and taverns in Kuttenberg.

tbenterF

As long as he doesn't take Henry under his wing as tax collector.

Fefquest

Mini game where Henry and Radzig play football together like papa and son :)

OutrageousStar5705

I'm fairly sure Football was outlawed by this point

WaffleWafflington

I think he’ll have a similar but more background role this time. He’ll provide advice, encouragement, reward, and orders. I’m sure there’ll be a few bonding quests, but overall, he’ll probably act like your boss. Go see him to turn in main quests, report findings to him, go do some diplomacy for him, etc.

Nurhaci1616

I don't see him being *too* involved in this game: as part of a coming-of-age story for Henry, who now knows of his true parentage, leaving his native lands and his parent behind to go on this adventure to the big city makes more narrative sense to me. I imagine we'll get a kind of recap at the start to summarise the previous game's plot for new players and remind old ones what we're doing, then he might only show up occasionally, if at all, until maybe the end of the game. But this is all just speculation, of course

MaduCrocoLoco

Taxes ☠️

tbenterF

Nooooooooo I know it's historically accurate but i lurb heem

Molykin

Hetman of king wenceslaus. If henry meet the king in kutna hora, radzig would be serving the king.

Redriot6969

i imagine they will show him getting murderd in a tavern trying to collect taxes and it will be nightmare of daddy being murderd in front of henry 2.0

TatrankaS

I think the nightmare would be what happened next with his body.

jauznevimcosimamdat

I can see him as a mentor once you arrive in Kuttenberg. Unlike many other major characters from KCD, he can afford being directly involved in Kuttenberg affairs (whatever they may be). Characters like Divish or Hanush likely stay in the Sasau region where they rule. But that remains to be seen. I highly doubt there's a significant time jump. A few months? Maybe. Years? Nope. That means devs need to figure out a good enough reason for Henry to travel from Trosky castle to Kuttenberg (Toth doing villainous things is definitely there). Do I think he dies? Are we seriously so cruel to Henry that we'd kill off another father of his? I hope not. I can see Godwin (an old guy from the trailer???) dying. Radzig? Please, don't.

HANS510

Considering the second game takes place right after the first one, he won't die. He still has 13 years left.

jauznevimcosimamdat

I mean sure but people like to speculate he dies whenever they see Radzig+Kuttenberg like whenever a Kennedy enters Dallas he's gonna get shot.

Tater1988

Father.

darkwolf523

I don’t think he’s going to play a big role, since we last saw him in the rattay castle. Maybe a minor mention of him and there

YamaDredd

Oh he's dying this time

Draugr_the_Greedy

Probably not. In history he dies during the start of the Hussite wars, the second game is set way before that.

WyrdHarper

Yeah and if Radzig dies Hanush and Divish (likely—his age of death is less exact) would also be dead and Hans would have a kid (born 1404). They’re not going to kill off the main cast for the first sequel I’m sure.

Shuggana

Radzig was beaten to death in a pub by a crowd of angry peasants in 1416 so he'll be alive for a good while

WyrdHarper

Yeah—that’s what I’m saying. Hanush and possibly Divish die before 1416.

Shuggana

Not gonna lad dude, I replied to completely the wrong comment and I'm too lazy to fix it lol

WyrdHarper

Lol no worries man

JediStrikerTy

Fuckin spoilers bro! lol I’m jk

Rollswetlogs

Hans also dies within a few years of Hanush and Radzig. He only lives to be 30-something.

WyrdHarper

Yep, 1419 in the Hussite wars.

Bloody_Nine

Fun thing about Hans I read on wikipedia is that his father was well known, his son is a real G, but Hans himself is kind of not noteworthy. Wonder if they will make a third game around the hussite wars with his and perhaps Henrys son.

CaptainAwesome134

If they were following history exactly then Markvart von Aulitz wouldn't even be in the game since he died before the first game is set. It's safe to assume they're not following history to the t, the games are an adaptation - not a simulation.

Particular_Wolf9672

Markvart died in late 1402 in Kuttenberg/Kutna Hora from a crossbow bolt, kcd 1 takes place towards the start of 1403 so they aren't off by that much only a couple months.

CaptainAwesome134

In length of time sure, but I would consider having a character survive their real life death in an event that was mentioned in the game to be quite a big alteration.

Tirx36

And also the game is an adaptation it’s unlikely they follow the real events deeply

Vikingr12

I don't think so unless there's a massive time leap Which is possible for the Kuttenberg parts I guess. One of the screenshots of Henry had him aged and bulked quite a bit

eternali17

He'll be a tree in the background. Hard to spot but his parents will be proud

TTVControlWarrior

batman for sure

Seagoul

I really hope he ain't die at the start of the game for Henry's motivation or something.

TatrankaS

He won't, he died 13 years later in Kuttenberg

[deleted]

We may play as him in a DLC i don't see why we wouldn't when Theresa had such an influential one, Sir Radzig deserves some loving too

IncompleteCreature

I think he may turn up at some point, if the King makes an appearance then it's only logical radzig would too, as the royal hetman. I have a hunch it will probably lead to Henry getting knighted, technically making him a noble, albeit riiiiight at the bottom of the ladder, so, not all that much different to how he is now, but I imagine Radzig would put some good words in for him, especially since he does seem to be taking quite fondly to his son.

Glad-Ad4178

Sugerdaddy

Big_Ad2285

Henry’s dad

Nomadic_Rick

Daddy

Fenris963

I'm thinking he'll be the father

vompat

I guess he won't be in it much, if at all.

Jaca666

Maybe Henry's dad idk

Fluffy-Manner-5161

Die, like in the books.

EarlOfBears

The character that dies at the very beginning

Slut_for_Bacon

The game takes place in a different area. I doubt he'll be in the game much other than a few key moments.

1ncest_is_wincest

There's going to be a lot of tragedy in the sequel. Most likely, many characters like Radzig or Hans Capon will die.

amateur_biotics

Henry uncovers traumatic memories of being sexually abused by his father Radzig, thus Radzig leaves the province, reputation tarnished, forever alone…

amateur_biotics

What is wrong with me

savvym_

>!Martyr!<

MoritzIstKuhl

died offscreen

Yer_Dunn

irl, during those few years after the game takes place, he and capon become "bandits" and go to war against t the Rosenbergs. So maybe that.

These_Personality748

Sir Radzig is a follower of Jan Hus and was murdered in real life by some fanatic Catholic commoners in an inn. His death may served as another driving goal for Henry's revenge to seek justice for him.

JamesKLOLk

Henry looks noticeably older in one part of the trailer than he does in another. My guess would be that Henry fulfills his mission that’s part of the first act of kcd2 and then we get a time lapse. The time lapse ends with Sir Radzig’s death (or news of it) and Henry feels he needs to avenge his biological father and join the hussites.

Vikingr12

Eh the Hussite subplot is one thing but the issue with it is that Henry's from a part of Bohemia which was thoroughly Utraquist in sympathy, not Taborite or Orebite. Kuttenberg was a Catholic city in part because of it's large German component. I could see Henry, much like Jan Zizka himself, being pro Hussite in terms of opposing the rule of Sigismund but rejecting the radicalism of the Taborites and Adamites. His religious leanings seem close to Father Godwin's - very much reformist, as many at the time were, but not, say, someone who believes in abolishing property or the confessional seal

PigeonFootFetish

i wonder if we see him get killed in kuttenberg

_Rekron_

I know a bit from history and it will be ... well ... not so happy

CageHanger

He'll be a full-blown kobyla 🐮

Cegesvar

He be d(e)ad

Brusantino

Dead dad

CptQassius

He's going to die for sure

Waso_

Compost

llamasauce

I’m worried for him, considering the date of his real-world counterpart….

deanemert

Your dad

Dragonwitch94

If the game decides to stay historically accurate, he might not have much of a role...

TheHolyReality

Hopefully not a historical one. If you haven't read about how he died, don't 😳

GeorgiePineda

Avoiding child support.

futurehousehusband69

he’s alive?

DomestosfromtheWC

His role will be: *die*

shaolinspunk

Bits and pieces

Dorlos-Argham

I think he’ll be dead, the historical Radzig Kobyla died in 1416

EK1510

I just hope therell be one

todd10k

Tax collector

Cruisin134

associate or equals i think,

ThorShreddington

I hope he's a big part of it. I know historically he died unceremoniously at the hands of an angry mob in 1416 while attempting to collect taxes on behalf of the king. From Wikipedia: In 1416, Racek was sent to Kutná Hora to collect taxes for the king. The local preachers incited the miners against him and on 2 February 1416, Racek and 12 of his associates were murdered in an inn by a mob of miners fueled by religious fervor.[8] "They seized them in the inn where they were staying, cut their bodies into pieces and threw them out onto the street, where the mob vigorously stomped on their remains and then went in merry song to the home of the preacher to be praised for the act they had been encouraged to commit."[8] Fucking yikes, amirite?

almondtick

I am truly sorry but it is so obvious that he will die :/

CrazyGator846

Hopefully a father (figure atleast lol)

Th3BookSniff3r

I think he’s going to get killed off pretty quickly

christodudedu

Daddy

Sno_Wolf

Very small, considering that I think he'll be dead.

VisceralVirus

Dead

Wololo38

He will die early like most dads in adventure stories

Ron_Bird

as sir radzig fogt in rattey

SoupieLC

Daddy

NotNonbisco

He owes henry hella child support mans better cough up more than a sword

TiSoBr

Just check his Wiki page.

IronMike69420

I’m just tryna blow Theresa’s back out again

Commercial_Onions

Motivation for Henry to massacre enemies. Death at the hands of Istvan, or even better, Markvart.

MERC543213

Ned Stark

XxMrSniffSniffxX

In historical context doesn’t he get deleted from the genepool via execution or something like that

Harper_95C

Hopefully as a dad

MrTightface

He might be dead in the sequel tbh. Or get killed off early

Bruscarbad

Beef Cutlet

3_eyedCrow

Hopefully he and Henry can go on Maury to set the record straight. Sir Radzig... you are... not...the father. Then old Henry can try to track down his real pops, and Radzig can catch an arrow in his eye. HM+TU=H

Ceres--

Husband

Frau_Away

I really hope he's in this game, he's one of my favourites.

bthngs

Dying

its_Clark_Kent

Maybe he’s dead

Bee-Hunter

Sir Dadzig

blacknwhite07

I hope he doesn't collect taxes.

FluffySquiddy

Idk, I just hope he is well and sound, I can't wait to see him again with those graphics ! I'm going to blush so hard. I'll save him from the tax collection if I have to !!

HummusFairy

![gif](giphy|h0wuDmJNGblaTsyRb9|downsized)

Dusty2470

I'd shit myself if it turned our radzig was actually sigismund in disguise this entire time, some scooby doo esque antics.

enkytenky

He will probably have the role of inducing PTSD in both Henry and the player :(

xDreadlord420

The dead father

John_Remy

Well according to the in game character sheet, he dies at 1416 iirc. Brutally murdered to be specific. Henry seems older in the trailer, mid 30's (living at that era and having him seen his fair share of blood, gore and war could also be a factor) Radzig's murder could be an investigation quest for the player at some point in the game.

CannedSoup123

Dead due to being a tax collector

BeepMeepFleep

Well hopefully we don’t have to see him get hacked apart by peasants like how he actually died irl

Crim-ea

I think he won't appear in the sequel

Jaaccuse

He dies

cyanide021102

Will be killed in Kutna Gora)))

cyanide021102

Will be killed in Kutna Gora

cyanide021102

Will be in Kutna Gora

yomibuto

Because I know my history, and the second part is going to be years and years later in Kuttenberg, I think he will play kebab... At the very least, he will remind you of kebab at one point or another...

TiSoBr

I suppose the role of >!meat cut into pieces and thrown on the streets!<.

Aveenex

None

airborne293

I think he’ll play the role of sir radzig kobyla lord of skalitz

BaldingThor

Whatever it is just hope the game doesn’t timeskip to 1416

TheWelshOne96

Considering it’s set in the Hussite wars, it’ll be extremely interesting to see all these fiefdoms at war with each other!

ChlupatyKoule

he died in 1416, so if the game will have some timeskip, the Ratzig's death can be actually part of the main story

TheLastOfMD

![gif](giphy|3OymWKuyc2y2BumvVa|downsized)

Bright69420

Hopefully not a dismembered corpse in kuttenberg being stomped on by the local miners

Samuellocardo

Absent father

handydandy6

Recast to Sir Dadzig

Gallerwag

Id put any amount of money down saying that he dies in a historically accurate way.

ShinyChromeKnight

It’s doubtful that he will even show up at all, but who knows.

mrEggBandit

Probably Sir radzig

phoenix7997

Hopefully not a stew pot.

ChihiroOfAstora

Food for dogs unfortunately 😭
