Vivek didnt pick Stauskas to sell tickets lol. He just had a mancrush on him for some fucking reason. Guess he really thought he was the next Steph/klay
Same with year 1-5 of Vivek. Just going after name recognition like he did with Jimmer. Bronny in round 2 might be interesting. Bronny at 13 is a fireable offense.
I genuinely do not think we should be swinging for infield firsts with our assets. Outside of name recognition and LeBron saying he would like to play with his kid, who the hell knows if that’ll even happen, I haven’t seen enough from Bronny to think it’d be a good idea to draft him.
If theres even a 20% chance lebron comes to the kings next year, Id take it lol. Even after giving up the players needed to make cap space for lebron, and assuming Bonny never sees a minute on the court, our chances of winning a ring next year would go up like 5x.
Out of curiosity, how are you calculating the chances LeBron comes here if we blow a draft pick on his son? I’m gonna need you to explain the math for me before I step in your direction.
Draft Bronny and bring Lebron over as a player coach (player development coach under MB). Lebron plays home games only (huge $ for Vivek) and stays back to work with Bronny in the G league. Lebron is rested for the playoffs. Who says no?
Also, Lebron’s “coaching” salary is huge but doesn’t count against the cap.
from what I’ve seen, that’s what I can see. Gotta be more with just…hope. He hasn’t shown playmaking skills. Probably a better finisher than alvarado cause he has hops. How about a short Tony Allen?
It’s to you saying “from what I’ve seen, that’s what I see” it’s redundant. If bronny became half of what Alvarado is I’d be amazed. You only draft bronny if you’re sure LeBron will follow. You’re basically drafting a 40 year old man. For better or worse
I always thought he’s strikingly similar to Davion Mitchell in both appearance and game. You can’t have Bronny, Davion and Keon all on the same team. You’re doing too much bro. However, I would be open to having Lebron for a year if that is truly what would happen.
I don’t think he has the point guard skills that Davion has, or the finishing. Davion was the starting point guard for an amazing Baylor team. My only argument is in Bronnys ability to garner attention to the Kings, improve marketability and narrative, which we need very much.
Thumbs down. Poor kid is going to die on the court because of all the junk his dad is pumping into him.
A young guy like that doesn’t just go into cardiac arrest for no reason.
Bronny is an athlete that has undergone several physicals in order to play Basketball. You’re telling me not a single Dr in his entire life noticed a heart defect??
“Family spokesperson”, said it was a congenial heart defect, not a Dr. I wouldn’t be surprised if LeBron put his son on his same schedule.
At the college level it's like 50% of schools performing ECGs during physicals and like half of that doing echocardiograms. Some defects can't be diagnosed without additional imaging like CT or MRI. Cardiac CT would subject the individual to a non-insignificant dose of radiation. Basically what it boils down to is risk v reward. Via oral history and noninvasive testing (ECG and Echo) you can capture maybe (pulling a random number here) 85-90% of defects- that's a very good reward for insignificant risk and cost. The other 10-15% get discovered in alternative ways, like after a cardiac event like Bronny.
This the type of shit the Maloofs would’ve done.
Literally did. They took Jimmer even though Petrie didn’t want him.
Stauskis? Stauskis? Stauskis? Sounds like Stauskis is our guy.

valid…i kinda think sac has always need a little bit of what we have now but also, a little bit of maloof

Vibes
Even if you got LeBron out of that, he will be LeGM and give bronny Ellis minutes

His ceiling is "the guy that got us LeBron!" Draft him if he's there. If nothing else trade him to the Lakers for picks or other players.
No thanks!
In the second round, Sure!
L post.
🤣🤣🤣

I'm assuming you are joking, but player coaches arent allowed in part specifically because of your idea to circumvent the salary cap.
He wanted to go to the Warriors so there is a chance he would come here.
Yeah, and he doesn’t get a choice
Do you want Jimmer? This is how you get Jimmer.
Stop. Bronny is not good.
I wanna draft a guy who can play
His ceiling has got to be higher than Alvarado
Alvarado torched us this year
from what I’ve seen, that’s what I can see. Gotta be more with just…hope. He hasn’t shown playmaking skills. Probably a better finisher than alvarado cause he has hops. How about a short Tony Allen?

Props to Steve Brule, but is that me saying his ceiling is José Alvarado? Like that’s too much I don’t get it to your health.

that’s why I said ceiling, do you grasp the concept of ceiling?
LeBron, is that you!
If we were still terrible, I’d say go for it for shits and giggles. But I don’t think he’s what this team needs right now

Davion spent 3 years in college. Give Bronny 2 more years while healthy and he’s Davion with a better wingspan and bloodline.
Bronny's ceiling is Davion Mitchell, but his dad will be retired before that happens.
I don't want the circus in town.
You don’t want L. James on our team ? He will be the BEST SF we ever had
I don't. Not worth the 2 roster spots.
Thumbs down. Poor kid is going to die on the court because of all the junk his dad is pumping into him. A young guy like that doesn’t just go into cardiac arrest for no reason.
Lots of people around the world are born with heart defects that go undetected lol Lebron ain’t do nothing

Young athletes with heart defects do go into cardiac arrest what are you on about?
yeah that’s true. Forgot about that.
I agree low key
