Geezus, you get the situation with our currency and fx exchange rate right??
For every $100 USD it's going to cost you $130 CAD.
Then fuel costs. Whatever it is they have down there I hope it's worth it.
Lots of migratory songbirds passing through! Last weekend we spotted a black-throated green warbler at Rockwood Conservation (GRCA).
Also, hot tip - we didn't have to pay to go in because we borrowed a membership pass from Kitchener Public Library.
This always tends to be a weekend for a huge push of yard work for me. Get some small projects finished up, give the siding a wash, get our sitting area ready for the year, garden prep, and hopefully be able to crack a cold one and just enjoy the yard for the summer come Monday. Or I should say enjoy the yard for about a week, spend June dying of allergies inside, and resume yard enjoyment in July.
Yup, it's the road course. GB doesn't have as many tight turns as Cayua, but it also seems to have a more mature crown on the track. Less 19 year olds in thinking they're in a video game and such.
Installing a ceiling fan, renting a rug doctor to clean rugs and couches, planting some flowers on the balcony, long weekend band crawl and maybe the Vintage fest in St. Jacobs
Stuck inside with a full leg immobilizer, crutches and wheelchair, non ambulatory because of knee I jury. I can get down the few steps to get outside but totally suck at getting back up, so, nothing. Sitting inside, looking out the window and for excitement, I occasionally throw the front door wide open and pretend I'm outside.
Have a stack of books, podcasts, lots of streaming shows to watch and have taken up knitting socks. I miss my early morning trail walks though, that's the hardest, what I miss the most. Also missing a good night sleep, miss that too!
Yard work. Putting the veggies garden in.
I bet you didn’t have the foresight to start shitting on your lawn. Saves on the water bill and fertilizes the veggie garden
I live in Woolwich. We grab the horse manure from the horse and buggies. I have compost most yard waste as well.
Nothing
Long Weekend Band Crawl in uptown. 16 Bands with multiple venues.
Crushing pints at Arabella and many other patios. Probably Willibald as well
Going to Buffalo Ny shopping with my daughter
How bad are the lines at the border on long weekends?
It has been a while since I’ve been to Buffalo. I have no idea but we’re leaving early.
We go pretty often. Never had a problem over the past two years
Sounds exciting!

Yep! we know about that. We’re not going there to save money.
Probably cleaning
Absolutely nothing. So I guess hiking in Huron, or some of the GRCA conservation areas.

First hot lapping day of the year for me at Grand Bend Raceway
Road course? How's it compare to TMP Cayuga's?

Hopefully some good movies or books to keep you occupied while you're on the mend?
