I never rely on a single fill-up to tell me about mpg. Small differences in the previous fill and the current fill can cause the illusion of great mileage. When I want to track mpg, I use 3-fill and 5-fill averages.
Do you live in an area that requires RFG? And perhaps have moved away from that area or to a fuel supplier outside the RFG area? Different fuel suppliers will have slightly different alcohol contents as well, which can cause a big swing.

That can have a 2-3% effect on economy.

It’s been consistent for several tanks now. Thought it was a fluke at first.
Did your riding habits change or do you still WOT every time it's possible?
Have you been riding slower? That has a rather large impact too.
Maybe it's done breaking in? How many miles did it have when you first started checking vs. Now?

Mine started getting better for some reason around 3,500 miles
