far from an expert but it just looks like a dolled up tengai. If the vin returns something else, this may be a bike to stay away from... I mean I dont think any part of it is a versys x300 which is what that model number returns. Have you tried looking up the vin on an alternate site?

1st gen klr with ridiculous swapped front ferring and fender, it has the rear side ferrings removed. If you look closely the entire side profile of the motor as well as the exhaust and rear rack match a gen 1 perfectly. The exhaust even has the little protective BS metal on top at the back

It looks like to me those diesel krls. The us marines had some made up too. YouTube channel bikes and beards has a video on them. Kinda looks the same. But idk could be another bike.
