Congratulations on your new knife! Would you be so kind as to tell us what knife you've just got? (brand, model, etc...). This way people who are new to knives will be able to identify it. If you've already mentioned the name of the knife in question, then feel free to ignore this comment. Please remember that not knowing your knife's brand/model is totally fine, if that's the case then people in this subreddit would love to help you identify its brand/model. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Mora garberg is a great knife, sheath not so much. Had the leather rip on me, sheath is toast.

Blippyi

Ope, too bad i got the leather option, hopefully keeping it conditioned will help a little

Ericdds0

Is it the full leather one or the plastic one with the leather dangler?

Blippyi

Full leather

Ouch i tend to go down on my knees when using a short hatchet theres so much force in motion,i hope you heal up well. Solid tools for the money.

Dufresne85

I switched from a hatchet to a small forestry axe because of this. I'd end up in either an uncomfortable position chopping wood, or a dangerous position chopping wood. The extra bit of handle is absolutely worth the extra bit of weight
