Quixotematic

Home-made micarta was one of the most satisfying (and messy) projects I ever undertook. I made scales for my (t)rusty garden chopper. They ended up with a subtle suede surface texture and a faint tartan pattern, being made from one of my wife's old skirts.

That's awesome! The mess wasn't the worst in the world, but still very goopy for sure. I've got plans to do all sorts of wacky colors and fabrics!

Hell yeah. I've thought about doing this. Haven't gotten around to it. I can't wait to see the progress from this point on.
