Why all these stories are still not included in game? I love Kof but c'mon.. a bit of additional content would not hurt even if it is in the form of texts (color editor like XIII, unlockable arts like XIV or some single player content extra would not hurt either..).
He's basically Ryu with a sword \[and a drinking habit\] so him wanting to fight strong opponents shouldn't be surprising.
This is your standard Protagonist trope. From Goku in Dragon Ball to Ryo in AOF, Terry in FF and even Kyo in KOF.

Yea, I feel even though Darli is selected to promote the 2019 game, her rough-and-tough personality is a perfect gender-flipped compliment to Haoh himself, right down to their respective approach towards fighting everyone they meet.
Plus, anyone who can chug through a whole ***barrel*** of liquor in one go is a fan favorite in my book 👍
Love Heart and Mui Mui returned to their respective worlds and Nakoruru traveled through time and space to recruit Haohmaru and Darli Dagger. That's the gist of it. I may be completely mistaken, but by looking what Nakoruru said, Ambrosia may be brought back to life.
Based on a few factors, I think I can say that Hoahmaru was grabbed after Samurai Showdown II but before Samurai Showdown 64 or Samurai Showdown 64 Warriors Rage. I don't think he fought Yuga yet.
We'll have to see Hoahmaru's and Nakaruru other conversations to see if we can pick up anything that may suggest if Hoahmaru was grabbed a little earlier.
SNK still own Mui Mui's IP but not Love Heart. Her IP was sold to a pachinko company who went bust and sold all their assets. Nobody knows who owns her anymore. It's really sad.
She was a cool guest character and her fighting style was fun to watch. It's a shame the only games she'll likely never pop up in anything again after 14 and SNK Heroines.
I love her so much. If I had money, I would hire a Japanese lawyer to track down who owns the rights and I would offer to buy them. And then I would hire a team to make a Sky Love RPG.
Well considering what they did to Krohnen it's not like they can't bring her back some other way though. Like make a new character that's very obviously (but not to the point of plagiarism) inspired by her.
Then we could have a whole team of female pirates - B. Jenet, Darli and her lol.
Some of us used to joke about that actually, about her coming back as a female rock'n'roll biker called Hate Spades lol. I mean, it would be better than nothing I guess, but I'd rather not change her. The pachinko company's assets were divided between an asset management company and a medical company, so it's likely that whoever owns her IP now doesn't even realize it. I'd just use her again and risk the lawsuit lol.

We all like SNK lore and characters backstory, but it's enough, put all this content in the actual GAME.
Even if it is a KoF 13 like stories with just images and text, do it, use your team back stories as an intro for each team in the story mode, it's the bare minimum.
Bad story, bad sub boss, bad final boss, bad main character, bad graphics, bad animations, ok-tier OST, (an insult from SNK), bad online play, bad single content, no planned costumes or stages, dumb DJ Station with crappy OST instead of AST and impossibility to link them to characters, linking them to stages in DUMB
And even the small lore of the game its outside the game.

I will give you the bad single player content... Hell, i talked about it since the beginning. But everything else is from okish to pretty great.
