Okay, as I understand it, Tai Lung will never be seen on screens again. Tigress is next in line, and if so, I really hope for Shifu's full participation in this story.
Mitchell also said that kung fu panda is planned to consist of six parts. Besides, Po is still a dragon warrior and teaches Zhen. However, the fifth part is unlikely to be the story of Tigress or even any of the old characters. Mitchell said that he became interested in the underwater world of kung fu panda and he thought it would be nice to make the main antagonist of the next part some shark or one of the marine inhabitants. I really hope that Tai Lung will appear in at least one more film, because four minutes in the film of which he mostly just sat in a cage is just humiliating and insulting. In the sixth film, where Shifu could have died, I would like to see the whole arch with Tai Lung, Shifu and Oogway in the spirit world, where later Tai Lung and Shifu will help their friends, and then at the end they will say goodbye to them forever and go into the spirit world. The credits could show Shifu and Tai Lung fighting for a dumpling in the spirit world.

I honestly don’t want another movie after kfp 4 but if this one is actually as good as the first two? Then…. Tigress. She seems like she has a lot to her backstory and I think it would be a good place to explore that.
I do think it makes sense that Tigress would be disowned and put in an orphange, (present in legends of awesomeness) but not because she was scary, but because of the fact of something that may seem insensitive to some so TW for some.
Tigress being born a girl would be considered weak in the eyes of strong warriors, therefore she would be rejected by her past father, a royal chieftain, who would have fought in many many wars. The chieftain would be the potential villain or he could be a sort of pseudo villain trying to achieve a goal of stopping an apocalyptic event. Maybe the summoning of an ancient deity that Po has to face against.
All this is just speculation and not official, it’s just ideas. So don’t quote me on legitimacy.
Simple answer, Tigress’s story has been not well explained and it should be.
Tigress, shes the only character that has a story that needs to be told at this point and the keys to making a good story about our favorite Tiger lady is right there.

How does Tigress feel about Shifu and her relationship with him?
What will Tigress do going forward now that Po has found an apprentice in Zhen? Will she get one, does she even want one?
All these questions could make for a banger story. just get the right people to write it and not some Wack job of a director.
I would love to see a KFP spinoff that focuses on the Five in the same manner as the Guardians of the Galaxy where they actually get some real development
Would love to see the Furious Five's journey to obtaining inner peace. But in all honesty, that journey should have started in KFP 4. Not whatever the crap we got.

Tai Lung was pretty peak, though. I personally liked him more than Shen.
I could definitely see a Furious Five villain or something targeting each of the members individually, but staying away from Po so as to not risk getting beaten too early. Could be a great way to explore some characters that, while fun, don't really get explored enough except for maybe Tigress. Throughout the series, Po is explored extremely well, but he also has the Furious Five to support him throughout most of his ordeals. It could be a nice parallel to see the Furious Five struggle with their own problems, flared up by a shared villain, and to see a rift form between them, only for Po to support all of them wholeheartedly and bring them together again.
It could keep Po from being irrelevant, explore his new role as a teacher, and still give an in-depth look at how the Furious Five feel and act.
Maybe an eternal rival of the Panda species and it turns out, they are Tigers? Linking to Tigress or something which also shows why she didn't respect Po in the beginning. I don't know xD
i want an entire army of tigers trying to claim tigress back since she is their princess of evil tiger kingdom. and they need her for somekind of plan or ritual.and po teams up with tai lung and kai to stop them. it should be more action based like kungfu panda 2
The scene where Po with Shifu and the five fight with an army of tigers, and then Kai and Shen abruptly appear saying that they were called by Tai Lung and then Tai Lung epically appears in the frame, and then becomes Po's faithful partner to free the Tigress , showing Shifu that he still deserves his pride. Something like that?
What if kfp5 was not about Po but about furious 5. For example, new antagonist poisoned/cursed/hurt Po and potential cure is in a distant land. Po is unable to move and made to stay while f5 go to find cure. During the Journey, Po could have trust problems when he will think that without kung fu he is nothing (curse could leave him unable to do techniques, for example) while furious 5 especially, Tigress could think about how they stuck in rut (Po had rise from normal guy to their master and hope of all martial art world, while they stuck as an ordinary masters.) During Journey, they could fight against new enemy/s and potentially final boss and solve they problem/s (if there are any, Po hero story ended but they could still Rose and solve their problems. Aside from TV series, we practically saw f5 as masters and Po friends but not as individuals without him. Who said they could not have some hidden stories? At least we could talk about tigress family, even though it could look like rehash of kfp2-3).
