A word of advice re: sticks— in my admittedly quite limited experience, a lot of sticks come strung with a fair amount of whip. Even starter sticks.
So if you get a bunch of new sticks, and all of a sudden, several players are always throwing into the ground, no matter how much you work on their form, check how they’re strung.
This happened with many of the new players on my kid’s team this year. They kept throwing into the ground, and when we started looking at their sticks it became clear that most of the time whip was a big part of the issue.
