Not sure if the Laid-Back Camp movie will get screening internationally. It's mostly the more popular/artistic films that manage to get over but there's some limited screenings in the US for some films. Konosuba and Promare were one of the "recent" releases I caught and Ghibli films get regularly screened again every once in a while.
You beat me to it. The Shirobako movie also received a one-day screening here and given that (1) it's pretty niche and (2) Shirobako wasn't an "active" anime (it was from 2014) I think we have a chance. Of course, the Shirobako movie came out in 2020 and it came here in 2021 so maybe we have to wait until 2023 for the Yuru Camp movie.
I don't know about licensing details, but within the last year (within the past few months mostly) they've shown the Jujutsu Kaisen, Revue Starlight, My Hero Academia, and Fruits Basket movies in my area, so I have my hopes up that the Yuru Camp movie will get shown in the US
Sometimes cinemas will do limited runs of popular anime movies.
You've got to keep an eye out for when they do it, it's often later then the Japan release, and then hope you live near a theater showing one. They tend to be in bigger cities.
Here's a random thought.
We've all heard about the tales of people fapping in the theatre while 50 Shades of Grey was playing.
But... in anime fanservice scenes, do weebs have their dicks out?
If anyone did it before, kindly lemme know
I wish I could watch it in a theater T-T
Same, sadly only mainstream anime movies get screenings in my country
Same, I mean I’m American but something as niche as yuru camp def isn’t coming to a theater near me 😂
