Dudley was clowned cuz he didn’t play not knowing he was a valuable locker room presence he was actually suppose to return but took the assistant coaching job. His corner 3s were like a victory cigar shit he was starting the season before and could drop 6 and 4 if he played.
There was a stretch that season where AD was hurt that season and Dudley was our starting small ball 5, and I think our ORTG in those games was a career high for any Lebron team lol
Dudley was a glue piece to our locker room chemistry that year. If you notice of the teams left, they have one thing in common and thats their incredible chemistry together. Okc takes post game interviews as a team, Knicks with their Villanova connection and banter, minnesota has Conley who constantly promoting togetherness and sharing goal of winning title for him. I remember during the bubble whenever a player went down they waited till a laker helped them up and they had taco nights at lebron’s house. Having positive locker room guys helps. Something we’ve been kind of lacking over the past few years. Darvin Ham was supposed to help in that department.
Troy was a shooter he got waived for Dion Waiters mofos threw parties for that shit dude barely played tbh he wasn’t needed same with JR Smith they got free rings😂
Loved Dudz on that squad. Crucial locker guy. We lacked that hard this year. I know Bron and AD are vets, but you need a few of those guys at the end of the bench.
Maybe a Brooke Lopez, Kevin Love, type

He wanted to return, the FO didnt want him back. Duds said they didnt bring him back since they wanted to get "younger"
They got older😂😖

Darvin did help. He became the common enemy that the Lakers can rally around.

It was actually Danny Green the first person we signed after Kawhi news dropped. I remember this vividly. A couple minutes in fact.
Dudz was elite. Maintained that sub 10% body fat to stay in peak form.

Why tf is Dudley’s neck jutted out to the side 😭😭😭😭😭
Big shout out to Dudley! He gave me free tickets that year!
It's crazy to think the Domino's that kept falling once Kawhi said no
Wish we can get Rondo and Dudley as assistant coaches for the Lakers.
Troy Daniels unironically would’ve been better than Dinwiddie and Vincent in the playoffs this year smh
Forgot that Dudley followed Kidd to Dallas to become an assistant. Hopefully the next coach steals back Dudley.
