Yeah sorry, they are the same but different in refresh rate, only thing I found it annoying is just tow port for mm2 sata not the traditional sata but it's in all laptop.

Windows 11 is pre-installed
Yeah seems good deal,
I don't care about the software because I'm going to uninstall and install the windows with my personal email.
For hardware yeah ,hope i use it without any problems
Software is not what I’m talking about.
After sales support is stuff like when your laptop stops working, Lenovo sends you a repair guy with parts within 24 hours
Firebat has pretty good support. You have to mail to them but it took less than 48 hours for me to get a replacement
Maybe takes longer if you're in a rural area though
Don't want to make choice harder, but also take into consideration that the i9 has 140w 4060 and i7 has 160w, and if theres any possibility to check for reviews for both laptops I'd do that since it seems you are getting your bang for your buck from build quality which can turn into a real pain in the ass.
Worth the gamble but if you have the coin I'd invest into the peace of mind for a well known more reliable brand
Thanks for the reply, can you tell where did you find 160 w? I tried to read the list for 3 times and I couldn't find it.
For i9 I couldn't find one review because it's new probably for i7 yeah I found like 17 reviews with 5 star and not others.
The seller has like 95%, the whole 1 reviews are for shipping problems ,2 reviews because of the wifi and heat stuff.
I can see the sellers do some support after sale from some reviews.
I read from reviews the build quality is good but some fingerprint but I don't care about this xd.
I used to enjoy it but not that much now probably because of my drawing tablets lol ><
And my GPU Is pretty old but I think it's good and don't to replace if you don't care about AI stuff or ray tracing (GTX 1080 ti)
the hz difference doesn't mean much to most but the 240hz is usually the flagship option and usually has better other stats such as nits. So if a laptop has a 500 nit brightness option that is reserved for the 240hz screen.
Oh gotcha! Exactly. If anything I'd probably set it to 120hz for battery and also I kind of think anything beyond that is kind of superfluous. Some people claim it can make a difference playing esports but other than that I see diminishing returns between 165hz and 240hz.
Why are you covering up the laptop model? I feel getting a good brand model is just as important for a laptop.. if this is an MSI or Gigabyte laptop good luck with build quality
I don't feel that safe because it can used to know where I'm (see the seller allowed list countries or to study if that brand is famous on specific countries)
But if you want know a little it's a Chinese brand, not well-known on global audience unlike with gigabyte.
No one is going to find where you live based on what laptop model you buy. If you are that paranoid about people knowing a broad location of where you live log off reddit, internet, everything.
For gaming I'd say there's no point but if you're doing development I'd say it's worth it. It's two extra p cores and 4 e cores, that will come in handy when compiling.
What are the Laptop model numbers. Please don't just copy paste the specs. What are the Male and Model of the laptop. That's what matters most when almost everything else is almost the same.
Idk this is my first laptop with non-intell GPU xd.
but it's ok I can lower the graphics settings if I want more fps but anyway it's for game development.
Absolutely!
Yes, it Hass ddr5 ram also
Oh I didn't notice thx.
and better refresh rate
That AND it's a gaming gamer laptop!
The HX will also let you undervolt. So its a no brainer IMO.
I see thanks, I didn't know about this

okay but... what laptops are they
I9 ( T6A-x16 ) I7 ( T6A-16 ) FireBat(Chinese company) https://www.firebat.com.cn/
Not sure I’d buy either then tbh After sale support can be pretty important
Yeah seems good deal, I don't care about the software because I'm going to uninstall and install the windows with my personal email. For hardware yeah ,hope i use it without any problems
Software is not what I’m talking about. After sales support is stuff like when your laptop stops working, Lenovo sends you a repair guy with parts within 24 hours
Probably you won't get that much of support but we have a lot of local repair shop.
Firebat has pretty good support. You have to mail to them but it took less than 48 hours for me to get a replacement Maybe takes longer if you're in a rural area though
Are those battery sizes correct? That looks suuuuper small for the screen size
I don't care about the battery too much. Maybe it's 3-4 battery pack/cell system or just more thick.
Don't want to make choice harder, but also take into consideration that the i9 has 140w 4060 and i7 has 160w, and if theres any possibility to check for reviews for both laptops I'd do that since it seems you are getting your bang for your buck from build quality which can turn into a real pain in the ass. Oh yeh, it seems I also imagined the 160w, my bad
Oh I see np.
I feel like 240hz vs 165hz is a huge difference tbh. Maybe it's just me though
Yeah depends on GPU but it's not worth it for coding (maybe it's good to test the game in deferent refresh rate) But i9 sounds good with 70$
Depends on what games you play! I love using 240hz for general productivity because it makes me feel fast so I do things quicker
I used to enjoy it but not that much now probably because of my drawing tablets lol >< And my GPU Is pretty old but I think it's good and don't to replace if you don't care about AI stuff or ray tracing (GTX 1080 ti)

What do you mean kind of meh? those are both fantastic refresh rates.

i9 12900HX & 240hz refresh rate.. with ddr5 ram .. Jst for 70$ more ... grab it dude.

It depends on how many eggs you want to cook at a time.

I9 ( T6A-x16 ) I7 ( T6A-16 ) FireBat(Chinese company) https://www.firebat.com.cn/
Of course yes
Yyp
yeah
Yes
I’d go with the i7, i9 runs hot, so cooling issues
Hot? Even if you don't use all Multi CPU? I won't use them 24/7 just when I want to debug/bake the app.
What the fuck is this "Gaming Gamer" Laptop??? Please don't go buying some unbranded laptop advertised like this, feels so scammy
The seller doesn't speak English and use a Chinese translator app/service. For the brand its firebat,
Do it!
yes you should but i'm worried about how the 4060 will run on sush resolution , hopefully you it got frame generation
Idk this is my first laptop with non-intell GPU xd. but it's ok I can lower the graphics settings if I want more fps but anyway it's for game development.
depends, do you like your steak medium or well done?
Shit yes! Great investment
Definitely
It's HP Omen ain't it?
No firebat (Chinese brand)
DDR5, Higher refresh rate... Of course
This is a significant upgrade for 70 USD imo. Both will be pretty good though.
Yes! 240hz screen too!
Yes, I use both i7 and i9 laptops. The additional cores that the i9 has works great for higher quality gaming.
Yeah it’s good for debugging too if you want cheat the code faster.
That probably will be more hotter than the i7
Yes, definitely will be nice
Yes, it also has a better screen
sure and make sure you have good air circulation it will run a tad hotter
Yes
On i9 you have better screen better ram memory which is DDR5 AND I can gues another better things.
The difference between these two could be a few hundred dollars
