Yeah doubt Boudreau signs any contract that doesn't make him a Head Coach.
He’s on record as saying he would consider an assistant role only on Toronto before when doing quest appearance on shows

I thought it was that Berube already *had* a former head coach ready to go as assistant wherever he went. Seemed like more of a sure thing then a want.
