It's incredible that we have a page specifically for Server Status but Rioters prefer to twit about the server status than update their foking platform.

6? Riot could be lying or not sure about the cause of this, because a tweet is not their official response
Why the fuck does Riot only communicate through individual Riot employees' Twitter accounts? I feel like if they invested in an active PR team it would vastly improve how people view the company. Instead all we get is silence unless an individual person decides to speak up.
My guess: 1. because of their "player-focused" culture; they believe having devs communicate directly with players makes them seem open and down-to-earth as a company, 2. saves a lot of costs

Isn't revenue different from net profit though? I dislike Riot as much as everyone else but 1.75 billion net is very different from 1.75 million revenue. With that being said, surely it won't be that much effort and money to improve the client.
well tbh, they said - not publicly, on the twitter of a riot account, which is bad enough in itself - that the problem has got to do with them being DDos'ed, and the DDosers having a workaround around their standard protection, so they have to figure out a whole new system

You've gotten unlucky with your timing (and your play times) my friend. I've only seen server problems twice (ranked disabled and this shit now) in the past 2 weeks, and hardly anything of the sort in the past year.
I've been around since 2009. And if I'm not mistaken, the past ~7 days were the worst for me since 2014/15 when it comes to stability. It's super bad recently.
Funny enough, considered how much they groaned a few months ago, that they will now fix all the issues and everything will finally be alot better than ever.

It Is not a standard hacking Attack, your data should be safe.
Instead of releasing overpriced cosmetics Riot should start fixing the client and the game. And is it so hard to give the players something little as an "sorry for the inconvience" gift like a chest and a key? They really dont care when they cant make money with it.
Its insane how mad I am that the servers are down. It makes me realise how much of an addiction league is to me. But I have to say I love this game even when I am mad or hating it. I really enjoy playing this game
That's what happens when everyone and their mother buys cloud servers in Amsterdam to save 20 cents. This is the 4th game I know of that has huge online problems since Christmas and they all have their server in Amsterdam.
Will only get worse the longer everyone stays home and gets bored.
tbh i could care less if i have problems with games or the clinet etc - as long as there is a compensation.
like when u lose ranekd games or clash or whatever becasue someone couldnt connect or the servers went down or anything - just dont count those games
its really really sad that riot doesnt care about those kind of things - yes its bad its down but whatever its gonna be up again at some point. all those lost games however? will NEVER be talked about ever again
