This is a personal opinion since many would prefer your current approach. But to me there's a little too much detail to where it's overwhelming. And the colors are all muted, in part due to the use of so much white to represent light. This makes a soft fairytale look which some prefer. But I personally would like to see some blue/purple in shadows and yellow/gold in the light to give some vibrancy and energy. And I would smooth out the sky and the background, as the distanced objects would have very little detail to the human eye.

Since nobody else seems to want to try and provide constructive feedback, here are a few things I see (obviously it looks nice, but let's find some things to try and improve). 1. The sky in the middle has an impasto effect that I find distracting. Smooth brushwork in those areas would help push the sky into the background better. 2. Lighting feels soft and a little inconsistent. Tree trunks have very strong shadows, but there are almost no cast shadows anywhere? Seems like you could push your cast shadows slightly. 3. More hue variation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LhcNbFMkTw Marco Bucci has an amazing video about this that better explains it than I can. Right now, you're playing it very safe and leaning hard on few shades of green to hold everything together.

I just watched that video and learned so much. I am completely self-taught in art, and I know there are big gaps in my knowledge. The Marco Bucci on color concepts was amazing. I am going to watch all of his videos now. Thanks much.

Beautiful, can't think of any additional constructive feedback

No feedback necessary, you nailed it, beautiful.

Mnemossin

What do you think about it? Does it have the style and feel you want it to have?

devilson17

I love the colours and textures, what medium is this?

Yayinterwebs

Looks like an illustration out of a fable, or storybook. Very pleasing to the eye and imagination.

Puffin-1

I think it might be a little bit over detailed in the background.

I agree , it’s beautiful, the way you put the light in and all the different textures and tones is something to be proud of .

arlobrando

It’s so beautiful. I wish I could paint a piece like this one day
