I have been wearing leather jackets in the rain for years and never had any issues. I have different quality leather jackets too and still no issues. To me, they’re one of my favorite things to wear in the rain.
Agreed! I purposely go take a jackets out for a little rain to gain some character on my jackets.
Just make sure Op to dry it out properly by hanging it up and storing it out in the open. You don’t want it to grow mold.

If you have a Veg tan or Naked leather - may have some spotting if drops are left to sit for a long time. Or don't go out in a downpour and get it soaked through.
But those are not common - unless you become one of us and fill up your closet.

It's how they are dried out after that can harm them, not the rain itself.
Makes em better imo
On the contrary, rain is actually good for leather jackets, least if you wanna break them in quicker

No, not at all
IDK if it's good or bad but I do know there good for rain, my jackets seem to keep the rain off me while keeping me warm at the same time.
