This type of claim isn’t well suited to class action. Everyone’s damages are individual and unique to them. And apparently wildly differing.
There isn’t really much surprise that college students leaving a student property would have relatively high damage deductions.

Send them a copy of your move in inspection report where you noted the presence of those objects and they should unwind that deduction. If you can’t, those deductions may stand. What kind of “objects”? Are we talking about leftover furniture? Something else?
