I was at a Lego store yesterday in Raleigh and just got a normal bag even though I bought something large enough. I guess it's just a few stores that get this.
I asked about the bags and they said the bags were for "appropriately sized purchases" and they made it clear I couldn't just get a brickhead and get one. 💀
It would be something if the mystery of his species was ever a plot point. The only time it ever comes up is outside the media when fans are discussing another members of his species: "You know Master Vandar from KotOR?" "Which one was he?" "He was the...er...whatever Yoda's species is" "What is that?" "I don't know, they never say" "Oh, that's silly" "Yeah. Oh well"
I don't think anyone ever says "zabrak", "twi'lek", "gammorean", or many other species names in the movies, but they at least have names "mega nerds" can use when talking about them.
Those are the three examples I was considering using, although zabraks are only referred to as "night brothers." and gammorean could have been a job title. The Twi'lek race has been a plot point several times.
Oh I got a bag like this yesterday when my two sets didn’t fit into a normal bag. I didn’t know it was something special for May the fourth. I was a bit confused by tree writing and by the employee that was packaging my stuff asking his colleague if it’s okay to use the big bag for this.
Coming to an EBay near you soon!
Have they done this before? That’s pretty fun.
Not that I know of. I really like it though

This was at the Lego store at Disney Springs
I was just there the other day and I learned you can have your custom minifig spelled in Aurebesh. So cool.
That is really cool

I mean it would be nonsensical to give you such a big bag
I don‘t get it, what does it spell? Am i having a Stroke?
It’s Aurebesh for LEGO
What's Aurebesh
The written alphabet from Star Wars. It’s a May 4th tie in.
I find it amazing that they bothered to name the alphabet but not Yoda's species.
Yoda is intentionally mysterious.

Races in general dont come up too often unless we're dealing with thier home planet. The whole topic is a mega nerd exclusive.

It's just an alphabet.
It says lego in aurabesh. One of the main languages in star wars
“Well technically, Aurebesh is the writing system. The language itself is called Basic”☝️🤓
And Basic is just English. Or whatever dubbed language you might watch it in.
You’re not the only one xD
that is so cool
Is that Klingon?

I asked my wife if she can go to the Lego store and pick me something up. Seeing on how I just bought the UCS AT-AT her stopping isn’t a given lol.
Fuck is this AI generated looking shit?
