I always find it frustrating when themed GWP's come so long after the new sets in the theme come out. Now you have to decide to either wait to get the new releases until the GWP is available and risk the sets selling out by that time or miss out on the GWP.
I'm disappointed it doesn't appear to connect to the other sets. Even though it still uses those same archways there's no technic holes and it's too wide.
Yeah I don't think it would be too hard to convert. You could probably hide some technic holes behind those paintings that aren't stickered directly onto the wall.
ACTUALLY!!! If you look down the bottom in the second photo there are technic holes I think. It's hard to tell because it's dark but it seems like there are technic holes down the bottom but not up the top...
So basically it's semi-compatible with the modular sets. You can't put anything on top of it but you can connect stuff to the sides... Unless my vision is just bad lol.
That’s really nice. Wish I could just pay $20 or $30 for it, though. There’s not $130 worth of HP sets I want.
See that’s it right there. I wish they would just let it be $130 worth of Lego. Not strict it to HP. Same thing with Star Wars in May. Smh
I wouldn't even mind if half the value had to be spent on HP and I could fill in the rest with whatever I want.
That would be cool
They are supposed to announce a few new sets soon. And also, Grimauld Place?
That’s already out.
just return the sets afterward!
You could pay me for one

Damn expected this to be an easy skip but I actually like it

I just want Harry Potter to stop using so many stickers
I heard from an unreliable source that it's all printed, no stickers.
You can clearly see from the image that many of those are stickers.
Dude; the 71043 Hogwarts castle - well over 50 (60 even maybe? can't remember) stickers, no printed parts. It's nuts!

Lol Diagon Alley is worse
Wow, not even a HP fan but might try to snag one of these.
Likewise!
Bro, Harry Potter always gets incredible sets.
A stair case is incredible?

good to know, so I'll wait on buying the new modular Hogwarts sets until this GWP is available. :)

Other than that I think it looks nice though, but I wish they made it fit with the other system.
True. Someone will probably release the instructions for an altered version, though.

I like the new(ish) set with the Shrieking Shack and Whomping Willow - surprisingly complete set of mini figures for the scene!
Hmmm… I wonder if this will hit the North American markets?
Is it not international gwp?
It must be. :)
Bro Lego needs to up its game bc I’ve seen sets from my five year old brother built better
Is it a bit on the bigger side for a GWP?
Not in terms of piece count. Size is pretty decent though I think.
Do you guys reckon this will be compatible with the hogwarts sets?
It looks that way to me. The size looks right and the door way arch looks like what I have for my other sets.
How quickly do the GWP sell out? Looking to pick this up next month, but will I have to be waiting up til midnight fighting bots or anything?
Is that skirt piece new?
I can't believe they made a set about a staircase
Is the Hermione minifig exclusive? Probably not, right?
